Windenburg State Visit: Royals Convene in White Drawing Room

Following luncheon, the royal families of both Sedonia and Windenburg assembled in the White Drawing Room to discuss tomorrow’s engagement in the town of Glen Ilah where they will meet the mayor, talk with the residents, and view the damage caused by recent wildfires.

Crown Prince Frederick had to opportunity during lunch to meet Crown Prince William and Princess Belle. The teenaged royals have a lot in common and were photographed chatting while their parents, who have met previously, took time to catch up with each other.

Tomorrow begins the second day of the Windenburg official state visit.

Windenburg State Visit: King Maxwell arrives at Winfield Palace

All eyes were on Kent Street this afternoon, watching for the magnificent State Coach that would carry King Maxwell of Windenburg, Queen Morgan, Crown Prince William, and Princess Belle to Winfield Palace where they are being hosted by The King and Queen for a three-day visit.

At 2:30pm, to the sound of bells from St Andrew’s, the Old Cavalry arrived to lead the procession. From within the coach, the Windenburg royals could be glimpsed waving to onlookers as they passed down the crowded route towards the castle. Photographers seemed to pay special attention to the teenaged Crown Prince and the Princess Royal, the latter of whom recently celebrated her birthday.

Following the procession, King Maxwell and his family were greeted at Winfield Palace by the King and Queen. There will be a luncheon during which the Windenburg monarchs will be introduced to the Prime Minister and other members of the royal family, including Crown Prince Frederick. Welcome to Sedonia, Your Majesties!

Windenburg State Visit to Sedonia

A press release was issued by Winfield Palace, stating:

At the invitation of The King, His Majesty King Maxwell of Windenburg, Her Majesty Queen Morgan, His Royal Highness Prince William, and Her Royal Highness Princess Belle will pay a three-day State Visit to Sedonia. Their Majesties will stay at Winfield Palace.

Preparations for the visit began months ago and were confirmed following the King and Queen’s attendance at the wedding of Windenburg’s new Duke and Duchess of Daven.

The Windenburg royals will receive a ceremonial welcome at Winfield Palace, to be followed the second day by a tour of Glen Ilah and a state banquet in King Maxwell’s honor. On the final evening of the tour, the monarchs and other members of the royal family will attend a charity gala dinner to raise donations for the rebuilding of residences and business devastated by the fire.

Back to Work for the Royal Family

The King met with Prime Minister Warren Lansing during their weekly audience. Lansing, who has been Prime Minister for nearly eight years, is decreasing in popularity and there has been talk of his resignation. Despite what happens, the two leaders have grown as friends with shared interests and from the same generation. Asked what His Majesty will miss most about Prime Minister Lansing? “His insufferable accent!”

Queen Caroline braved buffeting winds and a self-proclaimed lifelong fear of heights to visit the Lynton Lighthouse, as patron. It is the tallest lighthouse in Sedonia and nearly 200 years old. Lynton Lighthouse typically had three keepers until the Five Years’ War, during which no less than 15 servicemen were stationed at Lynton to keep a lookout for enemy ships. The lens was automated in 1966 and the lighthouse is now listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Lady Lillian Mitford, the King’s niece, started at Reddam University this week and was photographed waving to paparazzi as she walked to class. She told the press that she was studying sociology, fashion, and business management. However, she declined to comment on the nature of her relationship with Prince Leo of Windenburg with whom she has been seen numerous times in the past several months. Prince Leo is currently attending the Barkshire School of Music in his home country.

Crown Prince Frederick was spotted at Nye Beach the weekend before returning to Barton College. He talked with photographers and allowed them to snap a few shots but requested that they continue to give him privacy while at school.

The Evening Reception

The guests of the Duke and Duchess of Clifton’s evening wedding reception dressed to the nines to celebrate the new couple.

Photographers caught the guests mingling among themselves throughout the evening. Queen Eliza of Carrington caught up with Empress Margaret of Krasnoyarsk, and the Kings and Queens of Elthonia and Culloden were seen chatting throughout the night.

The King and Queen of Monaca were also seen greeting the Duke and Duchess of Windshire. Queen Morana is the godmother of the Duke and Duchess’ daughter, Princess Victoria.

His Majesty King Reginald and Her Royal Highness Queen Jacqueline were spotted mingling with the King and Queen of Sedonia, who have become good friends with the royal family following their joint Garden Party earlier this week.

Also spotted were our bride and groom, the Duke and Duchess of Clifton, greeting the King and Queen of Sovoy. The couples met at King Reginald’s birthday banquet and were seen catching up with one another at the reception.

More to come as additional photos are released.

Royals Arrive for Evening Reception - Part 2

More royals have arrived for the evening reception for the Duke and Duchess of Clifton’s wedding. King Andrew and Queen Margarethe of Sovoy arrived first to head up the second batch of arrivals. (@hawkthorneroyals).

Arriving next are Empress Margaret and Grand Duke George of Krasnoyarsk (@krasnoyarsk-nobility).

Just two days after being spotted at a bar, Lady Lily Mitford arrived with Prince Leo, who seemed to confirm their romance by arriving together. Also arriving with them was Prince Leo’s older brother, Prince Hugo.

Next to arrive are the King Ernest and Queen Caroline of Sedonia (@royalsimsofsedonia).

Finally, the bride and groom arrived! The new Duchess of Clifton traded her large ballgown for a slim lace sheath, paired with the Raines tiara. The Duke of Clifton changed into a tuxedo for the reception, and seemed completely in love with his new wife as they walked into the Palace.

More photographs of the reception will be released throughout the evening and in the morning.

Foreign Royal Guests Arrive - Part 2

Foreign royal guests are continuing to arrive at St. Luke’s. Representing the Kingdom of Sedonia are King Ernest and Queen Caroline. Also joining the couple is their niece, Lady Lily Mitford, who was invited on behalf of Prince Leo. The wedding appearance follows the publication of leaked photographs of Lady Lily and Prince Leo at the Green Light Speakeasy on Thursday night (@royalsimsofsedonia).

Next to arrive were Queen Aisling and Prince Frederick of Culloden. Queen Aisling wore a delightful orange ensemble to the occasion. This is the couple’s first visit to Windenburg (@royalsims-of-culloden).

Finally, Empress Margaret and Grand Duke George of Krasnoyarsk arrived. This is the Imperial Family’s first visit to Windenburg, and the King and Queen reportedly look forward to getting to know the couple (@krasnoyarsk-nobility).

Also spotted arriving at the church were Mr and Mrs Allan Gerber, with their daughter, Bridget. Bridget is rumored to be the girlfriend of Prince Hugo.

The royal family is slated to arrive next, and we can’t wait!

The King and Queen have arrived at St. Luke's for the wedding of His Royal Highness Prince Felix to Lady Katherine Raines. Accompanying them is the King's neice, Lady Lillian Mitford, who was seen spending time with the groom's younger brother, Prince Leo, at a nightclub two days earlier.

LOVE BLOSSOMS HERE: INSIDE THE WEDDING RECEPTION OF THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF DAVEN

Now that we’ve all had time to digest all the amazing moments from the wedding ceremony of the newly-minted Duke and Duchess of Daven, it’s time to talk about the party afterwards! After a photo session at the Windenburg Palace and in a separate part of the gardens of St. Sebastian’s Chapel, the Duke and Duchess disappeared to undergo a wardrobe change while the other guests went to the most exclusive garden party of the season.

While the Duke changed from his military uniform into a formal tuxedo suit for the reception, it was the Duchess who had the most drastic change – she ditched the veil, flowers, and more conservative dress for one she could dance freely in. This  off-the shoulder lace gown was not designed by Violet Jarnell, but comes from the recent Glamour line by designer Zeus ( @zeussim ), and we think it was perfect for the occasion!

The pair were applauded on their entrance, and quickly took the floor for their first dance together, which was set to “Love is Still the Answer” by Jackson Shraz. Sources say it was a natural choice for the pair, as it is their favorite song. HM Queen Grace, HRH the Duke of Cannes, HM King Alexander and HRH Duchess Madeleine of Scenovia seemed in high spirits, and spent most of the afternoon in conversation with each other. ( @thevalencianroyals , @royalsofscenovia )

After the dance, the guests set to socializing with each other as various finger foods and glasses went around for refreshments. The first grouping that caught our eye was that of TM Queen Consort Morgan and Queen Caroline of Sedonia! We like to think they were bonding over the shared experience of mothering a teenage Crown Prince, and hopefully they were trying to organize another visit of some sort for the near future! ( @royalsimsofsedonia )

A little ways away, HRH Crown Prince William was spotted in a lively conversation with TIH’s Grand Duke David and Grand Duchess Margot of Krasnoyarsk. These three seemed to become friends from the moment they began talking, and we hope to see more of them in the future. ( @krasnoyarsk-nobility )

Over on the dance floor, two couples spent most of the afternoon on their feet – maid of honor Sofia and her husband, Braylon Mares. Spotted alongside them were the Duke and Duchess of Summerset, who look just as in love as ever. HRH Belle, Princess Royal, watched on from the sidelines, likely looking for her cousin Princess Emilia. Don’t worry Belle, you’ll get to join the grown-ups soon enough!

On the other side of the dance floor, TM King Maxwell and King Ernest of Sedonia were chatting much like their wives were, but this time with the audience of the bride and groom! We like to think they were giving the newlyweds some well-intentioned advice, but we have every confidence they’ll be just fine together.

Finally, we were able to spot HRH Princess Rosemary of Sovoy engaged in conversation with HRH Princess Diana and her (supposed, but not confirmed, infuriatingly so) engagement ring! They were spotted laughing and talking about various things for most of the afternoon, mostly about the pains of growing up with so many royal siblings older than you. This is one princess friendship we can get behind! ( @hawkthorneroyals )

After the reception, which lasted until dusk (fireworks included!), the Duke and Duchess of Daven got in a car and set off on their honeymoon to Selvadorada. They’ll be there for two weeks for some much needed time alone as newlyweds before they begin taking on engagements as senior members of the Royal Family. After that, they’ll be moving into their new official residence, Albertson Hall, and will of course be taking their dog Cinnamon with them.

We send our well wishes to Elsa and Lucian, and wish them nothing but a lifetime of happiness!

Photographs from inside the Duke and Duchess of Daven’s wedding reception have been released, and The King and Queen were pictured among the guests. Their Majesties were grateful to celebrate the occasion of their marriage, and leave the couple with their best wishes for a lifetime of happiness and love.

Royal Bad-Boy!

An upcoming wedding never stopped anyone, especially an Alnwick man! Prince Leo was seen drinking and getting cozy with Lady Lily Mitford at the Green Light Speakeasy last night after attending a Garden Party at Alnwick Palace. The Green Light Speakeasy is an exclusive bar and nightclub in the Windenburg capital that has hosted numerous celebrity events throughout the years.

The prince, who just turned 18, was seen drinking a glass of wine with Lady Lily, who is 19. Although the Prince is of legal drinking age, many in Windenburg found it endearing that the Prince was enjoying a glass of wine instead of a mixed drink or shots of alcohol.

The couple were seen drinking at the bar and getting cozy in a loveseat, as well as dancing on the dance floor.

Although the photos show a harmless evening of fun, some royal fans have criticized the Prince’s decision to go out just two nights before his brother’s wedding to Lady Katherine Raines.

The King's neice in a relationship with Prince Leo of Windenburg?

Lady Lillian Mitford, daughter of Princess Claudine, Duchess of Clavell, and neice to the King, was spotted with Prince Leo, the youngest son of King Reginald of Windenburg, at a club last night. The pair was photographed drinking, dancing, and enjoying each other's company. Lady Lily is in town for the royal wedding of Prince Felix and Lady Katherine Raines.

The couple have been seen together on a handful of occasions since their introduction at a charity ball in Sedonia earlier this year. With Prince Leo headed to the Barkshire School of Music in Windenburg and Lady Lillian off to Reddam University in Sedonia, is this a simple summertime fling or something more?

A person’s favorite color, favorite animal, and favorite flavor of ice cream can say a lot about them when considering the answers as a whole. Some prime examples I’ve heard are:

~ Silver, Artic Wolf, and Mint Chocolate Chip.

~ Pink/Yellow, Putu Bird, and Cotton Candy.

~ Light Brown, Tree Kangaroo, and Rum Raisin.

~ Green, Pig, and Cookie Dough.

Mine are:

Tag some friends and get a sense of who they are! :)

Burgundy, Elephant, Praline Almond,

Black (if that doesn’t count: red), cat, hazelnut.

Royals Host Garden Party

The King and Queen Jacqueline along with the King and Queen of Sedonia today hosted a Garden Party at Alnwick Palace’s Gardens to thank first responders from around the kingdom. Firefighters and emergency medical technicians from around Windenburg were welcomed to the garden as thank you for their hard work. Sedonia experienced extensive fires this year, and Windenburgish firefighters were sent to help, prompting the thank-you. Along with the Kings and Queens, Prince Leo and Lady Lily Mitford were also in attendance.

King Reginald, King Ernest, Queen Jacqueline and Queen Caroline all met with EMTs and firefighters who helped Glen Ilah battle the wildfires last month.

Below, the King and Queen greet Mark Ghery, Chief of the Fargrove Fire Department, and Diane Porter, Head EMT in Fargrove.

After weeks of skirting paparazzi, Lady Lily and Prince Leo were spotted walking together through Alnwick’s Gardens, adding fuel to the fire of rumors regarding a potential romance.

The King and Queen of Sedonia joined the Alnwick Royal Family in thanking the many EMS personnel who responded to the devastating wildfire in Glen Ilah mere weeks ago. The fire burned 100 homes and business as well as nearly 10,000 acres of national forest. Windenburg came to Sedonia’s aid with an elite crew of firefighters whose training and experience helped tremendously in containing the blaze.

King Ernest said, “My gratitude goes to those Windenburg firefighters who not only lent us their time and skill, but risked their lives to help. Because of you, families were able to keep their homes. Myself and the citizens of Glen Ilah recognize what you have done, and thank you.”

FOREIGN GUESTS ARRIVE FOR THE WEDDING OF PRINCE LUCIAN AND ELSA BJERGSEN

Today is the day! After announcing their engagement last Fall, crowds have gathered outside St. Sebastian’s Chapel in the countryside of Windenburg to catch a glimpse of all the arrivals this morning. This has been carefully planned out by the Royal Family, with foreign guests arriving first, followed by members of the extended Royal Family, then the core members and then the wedding party itself. The first car has pulled up – let’s see who’s inside!

First up are HM Queen Grace and her husband, HRH Andrew, Duke of Cannes, hailing from Valencia. The Duke is looking tasteful in his suit, and we are all about the Queen’s pastel pink dress! She’s paired it with a pair of white lace gloves and a white fascinator. (@thevalencianroyals)

Next we have the party from Scenovia, HM King Alexander and HRH Duchess Madeleine! They seem to have coordinated rather well with the blue tones that the groom’s family tends to stick to, and they look picture perfect! The Duchess’ button fascinator is beautiful, and the fact that she’s left her dress without extra jewelry makes it stand out even more. ( @royalsofscenovia )

Someone else who has taken note of the blue theming is our next foreign arrival, HRH Princess Rosemary of Sovoy. She’s paired a light mint dress with a baby blue blazer and matching fascinator. What really catches our eyes, though, is the sapphire necklace she’s chosen to accessorize with! The young Princess seems to have made quite a splash here in Windenburg! ( @hawkthorneroyals )

Next to pull up are TIH’s Grand Duke David and Grand Duchess Margot of Krasnoyarsk! The Grand Duke looks casually dashing in his grey suit and green waistcoat, while the Grand Duchess looks pretty in pink florals and matching fascinator. Seems this style of hat is a trend among the women arriving today! Welcome to Windenburg, Your Imperial Highness’s! ( @krasnoyarsk-nobility )

Finally, we have the last of our foreign guest list – TM King Ernest and Queen Caroline of Sedonia! The Queen has also opted for pastel pink for today’s celebrations, while the King looks classically elegant in his cream tuxedo. Rumour has it that there have been talks for a while between Windenburg and Sedonia’s royal families to get them together at some point, and what better occasion to bring people together than a wedding? ( @royalsimsofsedonia )

Members of the Royal Family are next up on the arrivals list – stay tuned!

The King and Queen have arrived at St Sebastian's Chapel in Windenburg for the wedding of His Royal Highness Prince Lucian and Miss Elsa Bjergsen.

MARKINGHAM PALACE RELEASES PHOTOS FROM RECEPTION

Photos of last night’s reception have been released by Markingham Palace this morning. The bride and groom made an outfit change, the new Duchess of Casserta looking stunning in a silk dress and minimal jewellery. A colour theme from the remaining royals seemed to emerge, either a turquoise blue or a golden yellow was worn from the rest of the women. And it’s already been noted in the photos that TRH Princess Charlotte and Seraphine already seem to be on better terms with each other, arriving together and talking with one another. The foreign nobility included TM King Ernest and Queen Caroline from @royalsimsofsedonia, TM King William and Queen Cecilia of @royaltysimblr behind them, then TM King James and Queen Aubrey of @thesimsroyalfam, Their Imperial Highness the Grand Duchess Margot and Tsarevich Edward @krasnoyarsk-nobility, Queen Eleanor @reigningsims, and last but certainly not least Princess Isabella of @ourwillowcreekroyals. As per the newly married couples request it was a quiet affair and only relatively formal for the sake of the Queen. The Duke and Duchess of Casserta will be departing on a private honeymoon, location unknown, for a week before returning to finish their studies and graduate in the next month.

The King & Queen visit town devastated by wildfires; Crown Prince Frederick fills care packages

The King and Queen visited Glen Ilah, a town impacted by a devastating wildfire last month. It forced the evacuation of its residents, and over 100 homes and business were lost in the blaze. The fire has since been contained. However, the damage is done and the community is only just beginning to heal.

Hundreds lined the main streets as The King and Queen greeted a group of children, and spoke with firefighters assigned to the fire. The royal family provided aid to families affected by the disaster—food and supplies packed by volunteers, including Crown Prince Frederick—and stopped by the local Youth Ambassador hut to plant the first of many new trees that will someday replace the 8,000 acres that burned.

The King described the event, “This fire was traumatic for many people. A lot of them lost everything that they owned. It’s going to take time but they’re a close-knit community—perhaps now more than ever—and they’ll find a way to keep going, to rebuild.”
