does anyone have any guides or tips for folks like myself who want to make mayor refs like these but without using photoshop? 

or, at the very most, someone who could make the refs for me? i’d prefer to do it myself though. thank you ahead of time!

Mine isn’t perfect but here’s how I did mine without photoshop first I took the pictures I wanted to use and collaged them together in Picmonkey, so it looked like this:

then I used [this] Lunapic tool to make it transparent so it looked like this:

then I cleaned the edges a little and added a background in Picmonkey:
