Dave woke up in his tank like he did every day for the past couple of weeks. He looked around, trying to get adjusted to the odd scenery of this strange place. It wasnt the ocean. It wasnt his home.
After blinking at the brightness of the light bulbs for a few minutes, Dave wondered why he woke up… oh. Thats right, something about an examination today or something? He barely understood the words of the humans who had grabbed him. He barely understood them at all.
How had they found him? Why had they grabbed him? Would he ever go home? These were things he frequently wondered, but had no way of asking.

Kankri wasn’t sure if he should leave with them or stay with Dave. As it was, he hesitated, glancing over at him with concern.
Dave kept pouting, lips trembling. He wanted to go home. Why wouldn’t they let him go home??? They had no right to keep him here!!!

It’d be stupid to ask if Dave was okay. He clearly wasn’t. After a moment, though, Kankri did sign, “Do you want me to stay, or go?”
He sighed, swimming back up to the surface. "Don't know why you would want to stay. Won't be in much of a talking mood." He was actually talking now, arms crossed over his chest.

AU where Gamzee made it to Earth C, and after earning back trust for his wrongdoings, ended up getting therapy from Rose to get over the mental manipulation he was subjected to when he was in a bad place all those years ago.
Though things may never be the same again with his friends, he has a chance to be happy and free for once. No more sopor slime, no more of Lil Cal’s lies. Just freedom and a quiet mind.

He pulled his feet up, crossing them and taking a second to gather his thoughts before he signed again. “Dave, I’m sorry. But pushing me away isn’t going to bring the day you go home any closer. I don’t know when they plan to let you go. I can try my best to push the day closer, but…” Kankri spread his hands helplessly. He had no power, and they could always fire him.
Dave glared at him, then turned enough so he had room to splash them with water. He wanted to be left alone. “GO. AWAY!!” he made sure to enunciate for them, since pushing Kankri didn’t seem to have any effect on them leaving.

Kankri flinched at the splash, one arm jerking up to protect his face at the water spraying all over everything. Oh, damn, his notes. Fuck. Hopefully they didn’t get wet.
He got to his feet with a quiet sigh, going to check on his notes and addressing the others in the room now. “I think he just needs some space for a while. Give him time to calm down. Your presences will only make him harder to work with.” It took a while of convincing, but he did manage to shoo them all out, handing his notes to one of them as they walked out of the room.
Dave scowled, watching them leave. At least Kankri seemed to understand he wanted to be alone.
He sighed, letting himself sink to the bottom of the tank to pout.

What she means: Since the god tier kids can't die are they blessed with eternal youth or do they age? Does Kanaya have a wife who eternally looks 13 years old? Will they never go through full puberty? Will they have to watch as their troll loved ones die? Are they going to watch their world go through generations and empires (will they intervene or let their people have the freedom to choose?) Like it was nothing. How many kids and friends will they have to watch grow up and die? How long before they become the husk of who they once where? If they age do they stop at some point or do the keep growing more frail and skeletal over the course of millennia? Do they watch the universe they made die while being incapable of being able to do it themselves? Will their universe have its own sburb session and what happens when a god is among a sburb universe?
