Thank you all for being part of this blog, one way or another. Thank you for sharing it, enjoying it, contributing to it and thank you, most of all, to show enough interest to follow it for so long, It’s all thanks to you, that it lasted as long as it did.

It has been quite a ride and although it’s always sad when something ends, nothing can go on forever. This blog was my first baby steps onto tumblr and I have learned so much through it. I have met so many wonderful people as well as said goodbye to them.

Thank you all. Keep on rocking and keep on enjoying the wonders you create as well as found shared by others.

Just as I ran out of blog related things to tell about Star Shot, same counts for Skye Gazer on this blog. I’m DEFINITELY not done with her yet though, as she became more popular than I ever expected and I grew to like her a lot within short time.

She too is an OC, along with her mother, who’ll go on in random doodles and alike. With connections and relations to plenty of other blogs, just like Star Shot.

So, I can reveal she will be finishing up her study on a live Star Pony. Maybe it’ll get published, most likely it will if she’s stubborn enough. Right now she’s in a grey zone in my brain juices. What and who will Skye be without this blog to express herself through? We’ll see.

Such a same the pony she ended up paired up with was lost to the Internet after his creator lost interest in the fandom. You were indeed awesome, Peril Peaks. Maybe too awesome for this world. After all, you knew how to tame such a beast that is Skye Gazer. But I won’t let a stifled pairing hold her back, even if they were perfect together. So Peril is now just in the past.

Skye Gazer will/must find a new path on her own. So don’t you all worry, she won’t be gone for good if I got any say in it (she just won’t do much blog related stuff anymore. Depending on stuff).

Although... good point, Anon. Why not seek to add a few extra chapters to her study, if given the chance to study a live Black Star?

It both saddens my heart AND makes me happy to see how much this blog seems to mean to so many.

Yes, I am not closing down Star Shot’s blog for good, although not deleting it (just yet). I’m a bit unsure on whether or not deleting it is for the best now it’s over, but at least I’ll keep it where it is for now.

This blog was my first baby steps onto tumblr. I needed an outlet for my MLP craze, while my DeviantART account was still all about Invader Zim. I didn’t wish to scare away all my dA watchers who were only there for the IZ. 

Star Shot became my first real fandom OC, all based on my childhood pony figurine Night Song and the character I made her to be, since I didn’t even know the pony’s name back then.

In truth, this blog has been dying for a long time already though. I fought to keep my interest in it as long I could, for the many people seemingly so attached to it. But you can only punch a dead horse for so long.

Thank you all for enjoying this blog, what little story it had and its characters. And sorry for giving up on it now. But I no longer have anything left to tell about Star Shot, I never had a story for it and as time goes, I’ll have less and less time and energy to keep such a blog going.
