The Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands is a micronation near Australia.  This is their flag:

The Gay Kingdom (as it is colloquially known) was founded in 2004 in protest against Australia’s legal stance against same-sex marriage.

Here are some of their stamps:

They are currently ruled by Emperor Dale I, and their currency is the Pink Dollar.

And, indeed - they declared war on Australia for not recognizing same-sex marriages performed outside the country.  (Second link.)

luna’s scene with adria is so fucking emotional. i can’t get over it. she is literally there with her, every step of the way, talking about waves, reminding her of home so that she can die peacefully, holding her tightly in her arms. like, i dont think i’m ablle to express myself well enough… just look at this scene

that moment when adria stops breathing

when luna realizes that it is over

how she then turns to nyko, because this hurts

the way she puts her hand over adria’s face and kisses her hair while she cries and nyko says “your fight is over”

or when she grabs nyko’s arm and leans into him and he leans into her, like a goddamn rock, looking like a goddamn broken family

or when she hardcore caves and just cries and cries and nyko kisses the crown of her head

honestly, my brain responds to this moment like hypersensitive seismograph

2018 Netflix Original Series: Grounders

250 years after a Nuclear War managed to destroy all lands and leave behind only a small amount of survivors, a civilization was built. From the old world came knowledge to those living in the new. They have sets of laws, religions, and teachings. Their names have been passed down kin after kin since the war. They know war harsher than most do as well, and a new one is set to come. There has been chaos since the last one while the current Commander, the one who everyone bows to, has been unable to control it. This puts the faith her people as well as fellow ambassadors have in her in jeapordy. With newer clans and armies forming, and very little time till Ascension Day, where a new Commander shall be tested based on their knowledge of each clans religions, laws and people to rule, war is almost inevitable. Only thing is, this isn’t the war that they should be worried about. Bigger things will come into their lives that they will not be able to understand. Confusion incites fear, fear incites violence.
