Update ( 7/28/2023 ): We just got served an eviction notice, we need to be out by Monday. We owe 12,000$. I don't even know if we even pay that much if we'll be allowed to stay, I doubt it. I don't know where we'll move to or where I'm going to stay. River has dementia, if we move she'll be so lost it might just be better to put her down. I tried to find a job, we all have, and were either entirely ghosted or rejected. I wanted to go to school, to make people happy with the things I created, but everything is more expensive than we could possibly hope. I don't know if any of this even matters anymore, I should probably start packing regardless. I'm sorry, we tried, I tried. Even if I get a job right this moment it won't do enough. This is my last hope, I'm sure you're all sick of these, I am too.

Update ( 7/17/2023, 2:00 PM ): Apologies for the radio silence on my end, we've been having talks with our landlord and financial aid in our location in the hopes we'll get some assistance, none of the money that has been donated has been spent on anything yet. I've also been trying to set up my classes for the fall college semester. River is exhibiting some signs of canine dementia, dissociating, personality changes, not eating, but aside from that she's generally okay- I still worry about if we were to have to move or give them up how that would affect her especially and how confused she'd feel. For now we're just holding out hope that everything will go alright, we still appreciate everyone's kindness and the donations/sharing we've had so far.

Update ( 5/30/2023, 8:03 PM ): I just learned that we will not be receiving unemployment anymore and we're still waiting to see if financial aid will even help us, our donations have currently paused at 3,470 but as next month rolls in the rent we owe will be around 7,964. Everyone in our household who is able to is of course looking for work- even just temporary work for the summer, but I have no idea what we'll do or where we'll go if the financial aid for our county decides not to give anything toward us. Please help, any reblog or spreading of this post is a welcome contribution.
