I remember the first time seeing that scene, also thinking it was an amazing piece of acting, that single tear sliding out of the mask while Frank talked.

But now I’m always snickering instead because all I can think of is poor Charlie huffing and puffing as he hauls Jon up that hill while wearing 30 pounds of red leather in 90 degree heat, and then having to stand there dripping sweat. 🤣
