sasharcy but specifically resistance au sasharcy where sasha breaks marcy out of the castle and they both have to awkwardly work together to lead a resistance whilst awkwardly dancing around their waning/tense friendship
marcy still recovering to what happened to her in TC and sasha trying to be supportive and caring where she can but they both fall into avoiding airing out their frustrations and actually talking about what happened because god. they need to make this work, they can’t let themselves get distracted when the people and world their anne loves is suffering and hurting all around them, so them throwing themselves into trying to fix things and keep things together but silence between them is deafening until finally it’s marcy who snaps because man. she betrayed their trust, how could sasha stand to be even around her right now and it’s sooo obvious how angry sasha is by how she dodges and avoids and marcy would rather her be loud and angry, at least then she knows instead of all this dancing around, playing pretend that things are okay and marcy so desperately wants to fix it but sasha then just looking at her solemnly, talks about how she did hate her — but only for a moment, because when you’re faced with the reality of losing someone you love
things change, your perspective changes and maybe, sasha’s finally learnt that she wasn’t so great herself and maybe if sasha had been a good friend in the first place, it might’ve never pushed marcy to not talk to either her or anne about the move and her fears
just man. something about them both silently blaming themselves for each others misgivings and mistakes only for them to finally break and admit their faults and air out their frustrations. to fall apart to only come back together again stronger
