A concept i’ve been thinking about since infinity war- Thanos using the reality stone to reverse the effects of the super soldier serum, causing Steve to revert back to his smaller, sickly self. It seemed to me like a good visual way to really shock an audience and bring an end to Steve’s character arc (a calling back to the themes of the first avenger and the idea that Steve was Captain America long before the serum, and allude to the Avengers 2012 quote “everything special about you came out of a bottle.” If Steve survives endgame this de-seruming may be taken as an opportunity to lead a more normal life, as was touched on in Age of Ultron, and allow the new generation of Avengers to take the lead.) Anyway, i had fun with this idea, hope you enjoy it.

SKYOFRP’S THEME PACK #2 — A LOVE LETTER TO THE MCU, IN CODE FORM

as some of you may know, i’ve been a major fan of the marvel cinematic universe for the past few years. the entire saga has me by the heartstrings, so as the latest film avengers: endgame debuted and drew the series of films to a close, i wanted to do a “thank you” of sorts to the past ten years of marvel film. it just so happened that these two themes fell together perfectly to help me pay tribute.

to the marvel cinematic universe and everyone involved, thank you for reminding me that story is always a place that i can escape and find my home. thank you for all the laughter and the tears. thank you for reminding us all that superheroes exist and that it’s possible to be one. and finally, thank you for reminding us that it’s ultimately the strength of our heart that matters the most.

More or less, yes, when he was a lot younger. Though I must say that it’s quite hard for Steve to ever fall in love with someone. He isn’t someone who easily in love with someone not because that person is so attractive physically, but more to...because the person has a great personality or they can feel some sort of emotional connection to each other?

As for who, it’s your Tony @reactxr ((: but if you’re talking about someone before him, let’s just say that’s a certain someone Steve fell in love with quite a long time ago, but unfortunately there had been a big disagreement involved, so they had to go separate ways to pursue their own life choices. They still keep in contact, but not as much these days.

Tony wasn’t modest. Not in the slightest. He’d learned early on Steve wasn’t on the same end of that spectrum. Which was exactly why Tony could drag a genuine, adorable reaction from his boyfriend when he chose to forego the clothes. 

Tonight was one of those nights. Steve had seemed tired, a little run down lately, and he knew just how to cheer his little guy up. A nice surprise before bedtime ought to do him good.

The doorknob turned, just as Tony slipped the last of the fabric off his heel, turning head to lock eyes with blonde. 

“Hi honey. You’re just in time.”

Tony chuckled, eyes softening with the gentle thumb that ran across his cheek. He was always looking out for him, wasn’t he? Worrying about his sleeping patterns, how and when he ate – and of course, providing him with ways to satisfy each. “Yes, dear.” Tony mused, winking softly down at Steve as he followed instructions, and pulled a chair to slump tiredly into.

He curled his fingers around Steve’s, smile widening at the warm lips to his cheek. “Not at all.” Tony turned his attention to the carefully crafted sandwiches. “When in doubt, go healthy.” And they did look delicious and healthy. Calloused fingers wrapped around the top sandwich, lifting it to mouth for a nice, crunchy bite. “Mm. You never disappoint.” Tony complimented after he swallowed, leaning forward for a proper kiss to Steve’s lips. 
The comment had Tony rumbling in amusement, free hand gently brushing back through Steve’s soft, blonde hair. “Yeah,” Tony admitted, lip twitching in a smirk. “Water sounds like a smarter choice.”

“Flattery gets you nowhere, darling. It’s just sandwiches, but thank you,” Steve gave out a soft chuckle, cheeks already painted in distinct red color because he was simply weak like that whenever Tony showered him with much affection; even if it was just a kiss on the lips. Even so, he wouldn’t trade this moment with his love for the world.

The soft touch made Steve wanted to lean into Tony’s hand, but he needed to put drinks (water, not coffee this time) for both of them so he reluctantly pulled back. “Glad you’re on the same board with me this time. Staying hydrated with water is always a good choice. Keep at it, and I might give you permission to drink another cup of coffee soon,” he replied, grinning at the older man as he put down the glasses of water for both Steve and Tony. 

The blond was half eating his own lunch before asking, “What are you currently working on, though? You seem pretty occupied with it these days.” And it worried him, though Steve decided not to say it out loud. He trusted Tony to be able to take care of himself.

Although his intention hadn’t been to scare Steve, the result was equally as adorable. His lips twitched in amusement, loosening his grip so the other could easily turn to face him.

“That’s what I like to hear.” He rumbled, tired eyes drooping at the gentle touch to his cheek. A soft turn of Tony’s head placed his lips into Steve’s palm, kissing it softly. How sweet was he, making lunch? It certainly lifted Tony’s mood – considering he couldn’t hardly touch a stove without setting his own house on fire. “I doubt I’ll ever finish tinkering.” He teased, leaning down for a second, longer kiss to Steve’s head. 
When he stood up properly, Tony gently ran his own fingers across Steve’s cheek. “Lunch sounds great. I’m starved.”

“Yeah, I figure. At least, take a break for now,” Steve replied, gently stroking the man’s cheek with his thumb, still with the smile. He perfectly understood that tinkering was what Tony did best, though sometimes the blond wished that he didn’t have to force himself not to sleep for days whenever he tried to make something new. 

He chuckled, humming in content when he got more little kisses from Tony. “Then take a seat, food will be ready,” he continued, palming Tony’s hand with his own before leaning forward to give the man a chaste kiss on the cheek. “I hope you don’t mind me putting more veggies on the club sandwiches,” Steve put the said sandwiches on top of a plate and placed them on the counter top, right in front of Tony. “I’d like to offer you more coffee, but I think you had way too many already.”

Tony hadn't slept for days. Coffee ran in his veins, so much, that now he was looking for something else to do to keep him up. Which included finding Steve to bug him. Bug him, meaning -- slowly run his hands up the smaller's back, and gently work thumbs into his shoulder blades with a kiss to the top of blonde hair. "Miss me?"

Tony { @reactxr } uses surprise affection, it’s super effective !!

Knowing the man for a few years now, Steve wasn’t too surprised anymore whenever Tony decided to pull an all-nighter. Even so, the blond still concerned that the older man hadn’t really slept for days now. Not that he wanted to call him out about that, Tony was capable to look after himself, but that didn’t mean that Steve wouldn’t be worried about the man’s health.

That was why he was in the kitchen, trying to make a simple sandwich for Tony before he yelped in surprise when feeling someone touched his shoulder and kissed his head. Blinked once, Steve turned to see his rather tired-looking partner. Steve huffed, giving the other man a warm smile. “Hey, you. You know I’ll always miss you,” he said, patting Tony’s cheek gently. “Did you finish with your tinkering? I made you lunch, well, it’ll be ready soon if you’d like to wait.”
