          ❛     uhh  —–  hunk  said  he’s  busy  with .  .  .   something .     ❜          HE’S  LYING .   and  it’s  hardly  believable  as  lance  stumbles  over  his  words  ,   sheepishly  latching  fingers  onto  tufts  of  hair  and  twirling  nervously .   sleep  hasn’t  been  kind  to  the  blue  paladin  as  of  late  ;   insomnia  plaguing  his  body  with  thoughts  of  naught  but  visions  of  lilac  hues  and  swollen  lips .   lance  can  almost  feel  the  heated  breath  on  his  skin  as  he  reminisces  ,   and  he  shivers  lightly  at  the  thought .  
                                            perhaps  coming  to  keith  wasn’t  a  good  idea .
                    dragging  palm  downward  to  slide  into  his  pockets  ,   lance  breaks  the  silence  settling  between  them  with  a  quiet  ,   nervous  jitter .         ❛    sooo  ———-  can  we  talk ?     ❜

                 A FROWN formed on his face at those words, at the way Lance seemed to stumble over them ( was he LYING? ) lips were pressed together, thought of what happened quickly pushed into the back of his head, this was no time to think back to this ... this -- what was it. It had been purely out of spite, surely but in the end, he ENJOYED it much more than he would admit openly. This was LANCE. Lance -- and he had such soft lips. 

                 head was turned to look at him now, eyes widened slightly at the mere THOUGHT. ❝uhm...❞ he began, shifted where he was sitting before he nodded. He couldn’t say no, had nothing to LIE about right now, there was no running away and maybe, just MAYBE, Lance didn’t even want to talk about what happened. Maybe it was just a friendly talk among --- Paladins? ( he was fooling himself ) 

                                  ❝sure, always. What’s up?❞

                 a small SMILE was on his lips now ( something RARE for him ). “nice to meet you too, even though – this is not the BEST way to meet new people” he replied. Keith actually wasn’t the one to just bump into people to make friends, he preferred to stay alone since he was expelled from the Garrison - to be alone was the best solution for him. At her question, he raised an eyebrow before he nodded quickly. 
                 “Yes! sure - everything will be fine, there is nothing to worry I … had to handle with this more than once already” he promised. “no big deal...”

You never know … ❞ She laughs through toothy grin, readily dismissing the situation as time and lack of threat allowed for initial tension to ease with a lopsided shrug. ❝ ‘Could make for an interesting story some day. ❞ Katara herself knew nothing of the garrison beyond name alone, the ins and outs of the organization left only to speculation. For someone on the outside, she couldn’t possibly know what sort of trouble would cause the boy’s expulsion ( or his need to return under threat of pursuit for that matter ) but she could at least assume its gravity.                        ❝ Well listen … Take care of yourself all the same, alright? I’d hate to hear about ‘some fool getting himself arrested because there wasn’t someone around nice enough to serve as a distraction. ❞

I feel like i need to address this because i find it’s an issue many people, especially newcomers, have in RP.

PLEASE. DO. NOT. BE. SHY. TO. SAY. HI.

There’s no reason to be anxious or hesitant if you want to talk to me. I will happily accept a random starter, or a random tag, or an inbox message! Even if we’ve never interacted or even acknowledged one another, i will still HAPPILY interact with you!

You’re not bothering me. You’re not annoying. You’re not making me uncomfortable. I LIKE to interact with new people, it’s very exciting and fun!

Please, PLEASE, don’t be hesitant when sending in ANYTHING. I’m having a lot more fun than your anxiety tells you!
