So I decided today that I am going to start posting again even if there isn't any new content to speak of. I literally have 50 fully or half written posts in my drafts right now, so perhaps slowly but surely I'll release them, starting with this pearl that's been sitting there since mid October just waiting to be posted. We need a bit of joy right now and JM and JK they bring joy, so win win as far as I'm concerned.

I know he wants to shed the "cute" image, but what can you do if that's just who he is?

Someone needs to tell JK that you can be a grown ass adult and still be cute as a button.

Oh, and that he needs to never change.

Being Army in the Workplace

In September last year I posted the following story: I got the bus home today and a girl behind me asked me where it went as she was confused. I told her and we both got on. When she got off I saw that she had a Koya keyring on her bag. I have BTS and BT21 badges on my bag, so she must have recognised me as ARMY and asked for help. Since then I have seen more BTS merch "out and about." This coincides with the increase of avaliablity too. (Thank you HMV!) Being a massive fan of F1, I sometimes see certain references on that side of Twitter and the two fandoms are quite simular! There's more ARMY out there than we know of and I've had that experience at work too. I am lucky to have very understanding bosses, who appreciate that BTS is a huge part of my life. In 2019, my previous boss took me off certain duties and let me watch MMA in the office as I worked. He didn’t speak to me at all until it finished, so he must have known that I was incredibly nervous. Since then, I have been promoted and my current boss is thankfully just as understanding. He was the first to ask if I was okay when the final members enlisted and I will forever be grateful for that. He also takes the time to ask me questions about BTS. He tries to understand them rather than ridicule.

In my new shared office I finally have a locker. It took ten years but I'll take it! In true ARMY style, I started to put BTS stickers on it straight away. I didn’t think much of it until I had a few colleagues come up to me and ask if I was ARMY. (Duh) Some of these people I have known for years and I had NO IDEA that they were also ARMY. We started talking about the upcoming solos and it was really nice. I guess it made me realize that you don't always know if the person you just walked past could be ARMY or not. Though I know there can be frustrations with some ARMY and how they act, it still makes me smile how we all have that one connection around the world.

I can't believe I'm even making this post especially in light of the buddy enlistment...but this topic has gotten so loud lately...

Is JIKOOK the company "ship"? Do TPTB at HYBE/BigHit want JK/JM to act "close" to each other for business/profit reasons?

Obviously I have seen them called this all over the internet, but I never really took the time to ponder this because it just seemed crazy to me. I can't imagine a company based in S. Korea would actively try to promote 2 men in what could be perceived as a romantic relationship.

Now subunits are one thing...kpop...BTS members...the company all know that fans like the bonds between group members just as much as the music. And the companies do play into that and promote it. We see that in BTS with all the different combos of interactions we see in Run episodes or during Bon Voyage...BTS themselves have said that they know the fans like to see them with xyz member. That is one thing, but that is not what I am talking about in this post.

I am talking about "ear sucking"..

I am talking about weLives from a home couch dedicated to one member...

 We have seen jikook be close since debut...and visibly "differently close" since 2017 (imo). Can we believe that the company orchestrated things all of these years?

 Is the fact that these things happened on camera or have been featured in books proof that it is all JK and JM acting to help promote their group? And if this is all a promotional act....why not have TK and JK involved too, especially with their popularity? Or why not have some of the other pairings do more interactions together? The company could capitalize on them too.

I am trying hard to not let my skepticism of this topic bleed in here, but it is a struggle. I still find this almost unthinkable...homophobia is real.

But I am hoping that I can have a real discussion about this....asks...comments...I'd love to hear thoughts.

THOUGHT EXPERIMENT

Does it logically make sense for Bighit to force two people to interact?

I saw people talking on my twt tl earlier about this and this narrative about how they're controlled and can't make their own decisions, ESPECIALLY, concerning their personal lives is such 🐮💩! So laughably crazy! So unhinged! It speaks more about the people who believe that trite 💩 (they're crazy, racist, brainwashed, delusional, and in need of therapy and a personality reset) because the answers are all over the internet, in the way the members speak about each other, the company, how BH has revealed how their training is different from other agencies, and in the relationships they've been able to develop with us, because they had the freedom to do so.

So saying that two members are forced to interact together in ways that make them uncomfortable, make the fans uncomfortable, results in so much hate that people cancel orders, or never purchase something, trend hateful hashtags globally, make dts 💀 to the members and mass email the company to keep them away from each other is illogical and asinine.

Big Hit capitalizes on what already exists. Bang PD has spoken on this many times. They see their role as refining and presenting what's already there. The members have also spoken out about doing what they want to do and not doing fanservice. (Example here of what they mean)

Let's look at different things BH has done that are all about the fanservice:

BTS game where Jungkook was blindfolded and in front of Jimin and ✂️✂️✂️!

If the agency was controlling all of their personal time then how come jikook never did a welive together in 2023? We know Jimin and Tae were at JK's apartment because Tae went live and Jimin was there, but they didn't go live. We don't get all their selcas together either. 😮‍💨 When the fanservicing ISN'T servicing...

Here, Jin is wearing a shirt and we still got a damn emoji! WITH A SHIRT ON! WHAT FANSERVICE?!? And Again.

Inconsistent fanservice and certainly not the kinda thing that would make BH money as it's more likely to make fans upset - taekook example . (Actually I'm wondering if this account is gonna get suspended soon 🙄. I clicked on the tag to see if it was jjks doing it related to this topic and....well found some examples to include instead.)

Now we have taekook ITS where they repaired their relationship when Jimin brought Jungkook to Taehyung. That's something they would have needed to feel comfortable to do in front of cameras. And people saying it's scripted have never understood how much BTS shows us of themselves. They have never accepted how much freedom the members truly have. (They've also never accepted reality a day in their lives, 🤡 but....moving on.)

Now let's talk about BE and Namjoon objecting to showing so much of the process to the fans... BECAUSE HE KNOWS THE SHIT THAT HAPPENS ONLINE. What we got were the BE interviews and behind the scenes meetings about the album (infamous kitchen meeting 👀).

Here we have an example of Jhope ASKING FOR THE CAMERA AND STATING HE'S GONNA MAKE A BANGTAN 💣. The significance of the staff just handing over expensive equipment for the BTS members to PLAY with should not be overlooked. It's not the first time. This is also significant because it shows how the members DIRECT THEIR OWN CONTENT.

Now if Korea is as homophobic as people say, then why do we get two men and one camera and aborted kissing maneuvers POSTED? How do these examples differ from Sana and Jihyo? Or these?

👉Sana and Jihyo are IN FRONT OF FANS 🪭 - key difference right there (yes, this is queerbaiting). The guys all act EMBARRASSED AF afterwards. Taejin and this kiss is PURE LOVE AND FUN. Tae is smiling and Jin reacts without getting mad at Tae, but still making it fun for fans.

Jikook make it fun for themselves. They don't react like they're embarrassed. Their smiles get bigger. (And they don't stop or become more careful not to repeat.)

Suffice it to say that anyone claiming how controlled the members are and that they don't have freedom or choices is full of 💩.

They were taught the importance of certain things, but left to make their own choices. They were treated as a mentor would treat a mentee and not as an autocrat would treat those under their control.

There's give and take, compromise, but if you hadn't noticed 👉 I'll tell you how the members talk about THEIR OWN EXPECTATIONS when it comes to their performances. That the members even give their own creative input into choreography, music, ad libs, lyrics, etc. They have their own lawyers and even their families that will fight for their interests and they're encouraged to use those resources to settle contracts with the company.

And there's precedent of other groups leaving their companies and remaining together - Girls' Generation, GOT7 (who are friends with BTS so if they wanted pointers, they had help ready and available). BTS could have taken this option if they felt oppressed, ignored, used, mistreated, unfairly given divided resources, disgusted with the fanservice, harassed by other members, or if they disliked each other.

Instead THEY decided to enlist together. THEY decided to stay together as a group. THEY decided not to promote as a group without a single member (minus the time Yoongi had surgery, but NO ONE sang his part). HELL THESE MEN ALL GO TO THE BATHROOM TOGETHER!!! Seriously inseparable. 😒

They agonized over continuing as a group with all the pressure they face multiples times. They all re-signed their contracts EARLY. AGAIN. They constantly talk about wanting to remain together as a group.

So why are we still at a point where people on this planet exist as if their eyes and ears are constantly closed? With the same lies becoming stale AF 🐮💩? IT'S 2024 ALREADY! LET THAT SHIT FLOW OUT OF YOU ALREADY! Excrete it. ❄️Let it go. 🧘‍♀️Raise yourselves to a higher plane of existence. Elevate your brains. Evolve your thinking. Become better humans.

Unless you're not actually humans capable of growth and intelligence. ✨👽 Then we should probably talk about permanent placements in better fitting fandoms. 🪤

I read every word, clicked every link. I’m such a nerd for posts like this…love to see facts backing up points. Your writing style kept me hyped up.

I’m glad you discussed the control BTS have over their careers. That’s one of the biggest points of contention for me with the fanservice argument. Because yes it’s possible they could be complicit in a fanservice agenda, but would they actually do so? And would they keep it going for a decade? It’s a lot to ask of a human.

I have serious doubts if Jungkook could pull it off. He more than any other member (imo) is the least willing to do something they don’t want to do. Like in the picture you included, Jungkook knows his power (within the company) and appears unafraid to state it. That point really stood out to me during his Zach Sang interview when he said BTS helped build Hybe. I mean he’s not wrong, and it’s not a secret but I had never heard any other member state it so bluntly before.

A man that helped build a major music company in South Korea is not going to be forced into a contract where he has to “pretend” to be close to his band mate. I just don’t see it.

Because anyone saying "FANSERVICE" is truly just saying it to ease their own minds. How else do you ignore the directly connected evidence and their own words to rely on "he looks uncomfortable" instead? That's just relying on your own assumptions or projections as facts when they've specifically spoken on this. When their smiles and all the time they spend together clearly contradicts your feelings. It's used to explain away that cognitive dissonance. It's a mind control term at this point in the fandom. (General *you* employed heavily here.)

And as you've said, a whole decade of doing it?!? When JK gets bored so easily? Can't focus on things he doesn't like? When jikook are together behind the cameras as well as in front of them? Trained actors don't have that kind of dedication!

Let me list examples:

Jimin wakes up to Jungkook

Jimin listens to Jungkook sing in the morning

Jungkook goes to Jimin's hotel room at all hours of the day and night

Then they're on stage practicing together

Then they're back stage playing together

Jimin kept mispronouncing 3D so much that Jungkook thought he'd mess it up during performances

And they spent all that time together during group work that during solo promotions Jungkook missed Jimin so much he: watched Jimin's yt content on repeat, kept asking for a live together, would come to ARMY whenever Jimin left the country, and chose Jimin over special forces.

It's still the clearest evidence that their relationship is not fanservice because they're now doing the least fanservice-y thing in the most unprotected place - serving in the military. They've not posted their own military pics...yet (and I don't think they will). They truly just love and appreciate each other. They get each other and rely on each other emotionally, mentally and probably in physical capacities (they touch each other a lot for comfort or massage sore muscles for example). They think the other is what they need to get through the military as whole as possible. That's why they were able to enter under the buddy enlistment system. That's why they wanted to enlist together.

They had other options: Tae, solo enlistment, getting no visible tattoos, trying for an easier camp and then getting split up, but that's not what they chose. Because at the end of the day being together was the highest priority for them.

And that's not what fanservice is about:

And they're all doing it. But ask is it really for the fans or is it for themselves? Is it a bit of freedom to be more themselves? To showcase themselves as adults? A way to visibly show how the group has grown? To me, the fans are innocent bystanders 😩, collateral damage, unsuspecting supporters, always hoping but never anticipating and then BAM! taken out by the nips! 💀 We are the classic case of "be careful what you wish for." And oh, our suffering is real 😭.

But the fanservice narrative is not.

I agree with the idea that BTS showing more skin in chapter two is not only about the fans but also about themselves. I know they are aware that so many ARMY have longed for BTS to show more skin like other idols groups have done. I know they have seen us lusting over a flash of knee or ankle or belly all over the internet. It really did feel like once they started to show more skin they were doing it on their own terms...

I started this post because of all the "fanservice" chatter on SM and some fans that were linking the military to that. It really upsets me that some fans will not allow themselves to see the men beyond the "band". The members are private, and rightfully so, but even still they give us glimpses of themselves "after work".

I don't think you need to ship jikook to acknowledge that they are close friends even when the cameras stop. They have given us hints of that for years. So to believe that they could do the buddy enlistment just for promotion or to satisfy fans is almost offensive to me...for all the reasons you stated...they decided to support each other through a challenging time in their lives. It has nothing to do with BTS or us.

All that I can add to this already thoroughly written discussion is this:

Energy never lies.

People who label Jikook as acting, or fan service just aren't able to see or sense the energy that exists between Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook. They are living fully entrenched in 3D reality.

Energy NEVER lies. It cannot be faked or changed at will on the human level. It just is what it Is.

The Energetic Bond that connects Jimin and Jungkook is all that matters. It is an Old Bond, from other lifetimes that they have shared. Heart to Heart, Soul to Soul, on every level. 💜

So much conversation going on about the purpose of Jikook’s trip to Japan (and NYC and CT and Jeju and Busan and….so on).

OPINIONS: I think Jimin and Jungkook are geniuses. It’s pretty clear, I’d say, that they want to travel together. I mean, they’ve gone out of their way on multiple occasions to do so. But in their current situation, they can’t just GO without good reason because that would raise eyebrows. Right? So, i think they resurrected and old idea that Jimin had to film a travel show in order to “validate” their trips. In addition, I think I read somewhere that if they want to go on trips out of the country close to their enlistment, they have to get a waiver and there has to be a valid reason, like work. Like filming a travel vLog…🤔

If the flight accounts are correct, Jikook will be in Japan for about 5 days. That’s 120 hours or 7,200 minutes. Now, we all know that we will most likely only see a fraction of that time of them on camera for their Travel vLog. It makes me wonder what in the world they can be getting up to for all of the time that wasn’t filmed? It’s almost…..it’s almost like they are using this trip as a way to hang out together privately before enlistment! 😮

Times Tae Debunked Tkkrs and Affirmed Jikook

I know a lot of Jikookers aren’t happy with Tae right now. They hold him responsible for stoking the fire that fuels Tkkrs. And Like I’ve previously stated I’m not one to police peoples feelings or opinions. Your anger is your own, same going for your opinions.However, in the spirit of peace and reconciliation I want to remind everyone of all the times Tae has intentionally and unintentionally debunked Tkk and affirmed Jikook…because he has done so more than any other member.

Tae has a personality that you either choose to hate or you choose to love because he’s an enigma. It’s often times difficult to know if he’s as oblivious as he seems, a genius mastermind that plays the airhead card, a free spirit or all of the above…my vote goes to all of the above! 

There are moments where it’s clear Tae is up to no good and is trying to serve JM and JK their just desert for abandoning him by exposing their location. Other times it seems like he has put zero thought into the implications of his words. However, regardless of his motives (or lack thereof) Tae is pretty good at playing games in the category of “softly exposing Jikook.”

So for funsies lets kick this off with one of Tae’s favorite games called…..

“Whose Room is It Anyway?”

When on tour it appears as though Tae never knows where other members rooms are. He’s either always messaging the group chat to find out where everyone is OR he’s just plain ole confused about whose room he’s in.

I don’t think there’s a jikooker alive that hasn’t heard of this Vlive. However, When most here the words “Osaka” and “V-live” what typically comes to mind is JK clearly muttering the name “Jimin” whilst being butt naked in a dark room listening to sexy time music. 

However, what’s often overlooked is the how and the why we know this sensitive information. You see this gem of a jikook moment came to us for one reason and one reason only and that reason is Kim Taehyung and his childlike innocence (then). 

Tae has never been good at operating solo on his Vlives. He tends to run out of things to say and in this live that’s what happened. He ran out of things to talk about so he called on his fans to give him suggestions. They suggested he go to another members room. But Tae being Tae…didn’t know ANY of their room numbers! Don’t believe me…I have the receipts!

See he didn’t know any of the members room numbers. He texts the group chat to get members room numbers and I guess it was Jin that replied with the members room numbers. Not JK. Jin. Tae decided to go to JK’s room (my guess is because he can pull the hyung card on him and sort of voluntell him to go along) and he messaged JK to let him know he was coming but JK never responded. We know this because when he arrived JK asked him multiple ties what he was doing there. 

Now I won’t analyze this Jikook moment because it’s been analyzed enough. What I want to point out is how in this moment  Tae unintentionally debunked every Taekook claim because HE. DIDN’T. KNOW.JK’s. ROOM. NUMBER!!! 

I don’t know about you but I’m 100% certain that I wouldn’t need a third party to tell me where my boyfriends room was!

Now some may cry…this was just one time…he probably just forgot! And I would respond…haven’t you heard the news????? Tae is the grand champion of the game Who’s Room Is It Anyway!

Don’t believe me? Let’s take a look at a few more examples

Exhibit B. New Jersey Vlive

This moment is another famous Jikook Vlive most known for Jikooks tension. However, when watching this I also noticed that while Tkkers for some reason also like to claim this live as their own, Tae debunks them. I mean he again broadcast his lack of knowledge of where JK’s room is. Take a look for yourself down below .. .

Tae didn’t know whose room he was in. My guess is he thought it was either JM’s or JK’s room.

Now to be fare… a “valid” question does arise…and that question is if he didn’t know JK’s room number, how did he get there??

And to answer that question I’d say he could have done many things including but not limited to texting the group chat…but in reality its neither here nor there because this one simple fact remains…TAE WASN’T CERTAIN OF THE ROOM HE WAS IN! If he were dating JK he wouldn’t need to ask him…he’d know!

Again another famous vlive with popular Jikook moments…the most popular moment being Jimin’s TMI where he exposed how frequently JK comes to his room. It was a funny moment…a funny moment that yet again Tae used to debunk Taekook by broadcasting how unfamiliar he is with JK’s room situation.

What boyfriend would so frequently be confused as to where his partner is sleeping? Moreover, why would that same boyfriend confuse his partners room for his best friends?? Hmmm??? Either JK is cheating on Tae with JM and has been for years or JK has never been Tae’s boyfriend!! I’d bet on the latter considering Tae’s jovial expression when admitting to the fact he never knows where JK’s room is!

Third time is a habit…a habit that spells out the phrase “GET.OUT.OF.YOUR.IMAGINATION”

Now this next round of Tae Games is pretty spicy. The game is called–>

When it comes to Jimin, Tae can sometimes act like a jilted bride. He doesn’t like it when Jimin “ditches” him for JK. When this happens Tae sometimes makes a point to call him out …

Exhibit A: The Salty Smirk

I’m not certain if this is Tae punishing JK for keeping his JM from him or punishment for JM for ditching him or BOTH? Either way Tae was not shy about exposing JM’s and JK’s whereabouts (at god awful hours). And he didn’t just expose where they were…he exposed why Jimin wouldn’t join him…

JM wouldn’t be joining Tae because JK wouldn’t let him. UM? What? Jungkook…the maknae, the member with the least amount of seniority is keeping JM, his hyung from hanging out with him on vlive? I don’t think people understand enough how much Tae exposed them here! And that smirk…he knew what he was doing!

It’s not just oh Jimin can’t come because he’s hanging out with JK…it’s no JM can’t come because JK won’t allow him! Let that sit with you for a second! “JK is stopping Jimin from coming!” Tae is strongly insinuating that Jikook’s power structure is outside the normal hyung dongsaeng dynamic.  Tae straight up destroyed any theory that he’s dating JK by exposing Jikook’s relational dynamics. The boy is chaotic!

Exhibit B & C

Again with exhibit B we have Tae exposing Jimin’s whereabouts and why he’s not with him. It seems like Tae is quite salty about getting left at the alter and JM always running off to be with JK?!/!?! Don’t believe me….look below!

Still don’t believe me? Here’s one more moment in which Tae is in the mood for chaos. 

Now, in this moment Tae doesn’t mention why Jimin decides not to join him at the gym but look at his face…look at that smirk!! Doesn’t it remind you of something else??? Maybe it reminds you of Exhibit A. It seems like he is itching to tell us why Jimin didn’t join him but this time chose not to say it aloud but definitely hints at…that smirk can only mean it’s something spicy.

And don’t we later learn that Jikook had many drinks that same night…because they were sending Hobi off??!!?! 

I mean this boy is chaos itself! and We may be like…what the hell happened to this Tae? The Tae that loved debunking his own ship and exposing Jikook!.! 

My response to that is I don’t doubt that Tae still exist seeing that the above photo is recent…he may be  chaotic and irking peoples nerves right now but he really has done a lot to show the world that him and JK are nothing but friends! He has directly debunked tkkers and indirectly debunked them SOOO MANY TIMES! The only way they’d believe him is if photos were leaked of him with someone else….wait! That already happened and they still don’t believe him… I guess now the only thing he can do is come out with it and say he’s dating Jennie…and hell he might! AFTER his album comes out there might be an announcement!? 

I’m actually crossing my fingers that they do make the official announcement after his album drops! But let’s wait and see. In the meantime I am holding my judgement because for years the above Tae is what we got and what we loved! 

There are so many more instances of him debunking his own ship and affirming Jikook but here are just the standouts!

I keep saying it.

Tae has done enough. It’s not on him that there’s a group of people running around the planet that need more help in the analytical thinking department.

He can have his friendship.

They’ve never listened to him. Or respected the Korean language. Literally NEVER.

They refuse to see how the narrative they have of calling JK and JM’s friendship as fanservice results in their followers denying the legitimacy of jikook’s friendship. How it denies JK the chance to be happy (as he often is) when he’s around Jimin. How it results in them thinking that Tae and JK are always lying (but telling the truth with their eyes only). And how they deny Tae and JK agency over their own actions and words because they’re always buckling to the control of “the agency,” despite Tae saying he doesn’t listen to the agency and JK saying he doesn’t get into trouble with the agency and he goes around their rules anyway.

But I will also say that jikookers who are mad that Tae keeps mentioning JK or that Tae didn’t hype JM’s FACE….

Tae has his reasons and we don’t know what happens behind the scenes. JK seems to be the one he’s hanging around with the most. They’re back to being two peas in a pod, as they were before 2015 era. And Jimin is extremely private about the stuff he shares (even Namjoon deleted a pic of him sleeping off his IG).

But please also think about how being mad at Tae for talking about his friend that he hangs out with often will drive the narratives about the maknae line that new jikookers will encounter.

I know Jimin gets an undue amount of hate, specifically because taekookers can’t face the truth. I report his antis DAILY because he’s the only one getting it from within the fandom and without. I know it gets frustrating. I know we scratch our heads (or rip our hair out) about how the rest of the fandom moves around taekookers and Jimin. I know this is why some of you are upset with Tae.

Frustration at Tae isn’t justified because it’s the other people (taekookers) who are the ones who’ve never heard a word Tae or JK has ever said. Even if Tae releases a statement that he’s dating Jennie and then comes on Weverse live to say he’s going to marry her Taekookers will be unable to accept that they called him a liar, and disbelieved all his words, and made believe all the hearts around their heads when they looked at each other, and that the wedding bells they heard in their heads are actually an indication of auditory hallucinations and that THEY DO, IN FACT, NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR FOR THEIR DELUSIONS. They will be incapable of seeing themselves as bad people for harassing so many strangers who have been telling them the truth about Tae or sign language or Jimin for YEARS. It will be too devastating to their psyche to admit they imagined everything, fell for lies, and were the antis they accused everyone else of being.

So they’ll tell themselves and others that Tae is under contract for a PR stunt and they’ll concoct some other lies for why the most handsome man in the world, in the most popular group in the world is dating a woman from the most globally popular kpop girl group and needs the PR.

Cause at the end of the day if Tae is happily involved OUTSIDE of their delusions then they are miserable. If Tae is miserably involved in a hidden relationship and constantly yelled at for exposing it, and is sad and depressed because his best friend, the person he loves most in the world (his words, again), is flirting with his boyfriend then that’s what makes them happiest. Finding the signs, flinging hate to Jimin, fighting with ARMY and feeling oppressed and persecuted makes them feel the happiest in the world cause they’d rather confirm everything negative about everyone else than look into themselves or look into a mirror and come to the realization that they became ugly people for a lie.

Let’s be honest, no one wants to admit they’re stupid and taekookers, more than most, believe they’re the only ones smart enough to “see the truth.” They can’t even understand the nuance of using dongsaeng, chingu or hyung. 😭

Let’s not even go into the people doing all that lying for the money. They’re as bad as megachurch pastors leading the cult of taekookers.

So please work on the feelings you have. Please don’t displace that frustration to the person who doesn’t deserve it. There’s only two groups, taekookers and antis, that should ever have that ire directed at them.

Let me put it another way, if you’ve never been mad at Jin or Hobi or Namjoon or Yoongi for telling JK they love him or talking to him during a live or taking pictures with him when they hang out, or posting pics and vids of him on their IG then you should also do some introspection on why Tae can’t also do those things. And if the answer is because of the hate Jimin gets, then ask yourselves if Tae is hating Jimin, if he’s told others to harass Jimin, or if he should even be held liable for the actions of others at all.

And I know it's not his hip but 'you are me, I am you' right? So JK's hip is as good to hold onto as his own. As JK clearly doesn't object, in fact he uses it as an opportunity to brush his hand on Jimin's. Those two...☺️

Kind of feels like a pattern here, doesn't it? JM's off somewhere and JK's on Weverse live, lol.

I love how he always seems to be missing us when JM doesn't seem to be around, or should I put it this way? When JM's around he doesn't give a rat's ass about us? Nah, he loves army, but he definitley has his priorities... and above all, someone we will NEVER compete with for JK's love, is JM. I do wish a big chunk of army would understand that already.

The timing is also, as always, thought out. And this time the date giving us 8/11 and the time giving us the 123 is no coincidence in my apparently very insane opinion.

I would like to talk for a second here about how happy JK looks.

He himself talks about how he's been cooking a lot and eating a lot and he put on weight. I, for one, think he looks amazing. I hated to see him so skinny back in his Feb lives.

I think this is a first time in a long time we are seeing his eye smile even when it's not about JM. He's happy. He's active. He's working and working out and looking good and gaining muscle. He has JM around more and he's just back on track and he's happy. And it shows.

Satiated. That's a word that comes to mind. He has all the things he loves. JM, food, music, JM. He has it all now.

Also, our Jiminah, must be over the moon with his babe getting his man boobies back.

I mean, those chesties, or dare I say breasties were his besties, he just cannot keep his hand off them. LITERALLY.

And the hair, lol.

How he starts the live with his hair down and then goes to put it up. Am I the only one that as he does that is thinking about this?

Which was JM commenting on JK's mukbang live (which was deleted, ugh), telling him how much he wants to tie his hair back neatly (oh, the cute art we got from that one...).

Can I also mention, before we move on, just how adorable that man is?

He went to grab his glasses cause he didn't see the screen well...

What strikes me every single time is that sense of naivete about him. It feels like he's literally doing these things for the first time, and the excitement and expressions on his face, it's just so sweet/cute. So endearing. I mean, it's not the first time he's worn his glasses, and yet the surprise how much better things look with them on, it's just so adorable.

And of course I cannot not add this edit, cause it's just hilarious.

I'm surprised, yet not surprised every single time again as to how rude and stupid fans can be. At the start of the live, just before JK goes to pull up his hair (and I really want to hope that this wasn't the reason that he tied up his hair at the end), he reads out a comment calling him Jungsoon which is in essence calling him girly or "baby girl", which he replies to:

And he goes to tie his hair but doesn't, sidetracked by a positive comment saying he's been missed. That's also when he goes on to talk about cooking and putting on weight.

Fans like that they just fucking piss me off.

JK talks about not singing too loud at night. Explaining how even though he thought the place was properly sound proofed, and although the neighbours can't hear him singing, they can feel the vibrations from the speakers, oopsy. He received a kind of complaint about it, and says how since he hasn't been singing loudly at night (well, not as loudly, lol).

And in my mind, the live is kind of split into 2 parts:

Part 1 was dominated by Night dancer and Angel Pt. 1.

Part 2 was Taeyang and Seventeen leaning. Although we got to hear Angel again in part 2, lol.

The way JK keeps doing this, supporting JM and his work, I mean you have to be blind not to see this.

JK literally sang or hummed JM's Angel pt. 1 four times throughout his live, including his funny as hell ad-lib that now that we have the translated live we can well appreciate (I was scared they won't translate that part, but they came through, well at least with that).

You know what though? Thinking about it, Angel pt. 1 was all through part one and part two of the live (my mental 2 parts of the live peeps), lol. Or maybe let's forget about the parts and say that the live was all about Angel, nope, sorry, got that wrong, it was about Jimin hyung pt. 1 (wink wink).

And this is something JK does. He loves JM. He JM's songs, he loves to sing them. We've seen this time and time again.

Now all we really need is Letter, although I have a feeling we aren't going to get that. Which in itself, their reluctance to talk about it or sing it ever since it's been released, that is a big ass neon light telling us just how private and personal this song is to THEM.

Also, side note, that adlibbed Angel in Korean - JK's how to tell us he's drinking a highball without actually telling us he's drinking a highball, lol.

JK says he's been on YT and TikTok lately (making it clear that he's not on IG, which makes me think he might actually still be lurking on IG, idk, it's the criminal mind in me, lol). That's where he said he first heard Night dancer (will get to that song in a sec) and obviously also saw Jiminie's Seventeen Super dance challenge.

JK told us about how much he's been listening to Night dancer. Can't stop listening to it was more like it. He plays it several times during the live. And it's a good song. I get why he likes it. And the lyrics, I also get why this song is living rent free in his mind.

I keep going back to read and re-read those lyrics. Eyes tear up. This is definitely one that hits the heart strings, and so understandably a song that JK is feeling right now.

I don't know if you guys remember the ask I had a long while back asking me to pick a Troye Sivan song for every year of Jikook's relationship.

Thing is, for 2022-3 it wouldn't be a Troye Sivan song I would choose. It would be this one.

The song is by a Japanese artist called Imase, who went online to thank and show his appreciation to JK for listening to his song and mentioning it in his live.

I can't help but wonder if this is why JK knows that Japanese YT teacher so well, is he touching up on his Japanese?

So, part 2 JK sang 2 songs by Taeyang (hilarious how he stops singing Shoop the second it's Lisa's part), 2 songs by Seventeen, talked about how Jun taught him the dance for Super and Mingyu asked him to do the challenge but hasn't called him, and then proceeded to say that he won't do it, lol.

Pity, I'm sure he'd rock it.

He also talked about watching Go Seventeen and how funny they were.

I do love how he's sharing with us the songs he loves, the shows he likes, and also supporting his partner and his friends.

JK also mentioned he saw the photo of his female lookalike, Hira Saya, lol.

JK talked about Hobi finishing his basic training that day. Sending them a selfie to their group chat.

I personally am not prepared for that day.

But the hilarious part, once again, is does he not think we will notice his hair getting shorter?????

Again, that naivete of his, just like he was surprised he was so easily recognized at Coachella, lol.

After singing fighting, JK, as we so dearly know him, turns to the camera and asks: "should we sleep now?"

He turns back to sing fighting for a few seconds and then:

Adds "fighting for tomorrow", waves bye, says he dropped by briefly to play, that he'll find good songs for us and come back, asking "but these are all songs that you already knew, right? You probably listen to more music than I do. I really don't listen to music", waves bye, says not to get sick and be happy, and he's done.

Lol.

Look, it's not like he didn't warn us. Multiple times. He said he'd have to go to sleep at 1 am cause he has somewhat of a schedule the next morning. It's the way he does it that has me on the floor laughing.

I didn't talk about the CP song he played and sang, because yeah, CP, not much to talk about, other than again, this is an artist that JK likes, admires, and one that he is choosing to share his music with us and sing his songs.

Anyways, before I end this, a couple of points I noticed:

The songs he played and sang to us. JK said it loud and clear. And his live closing statement kind of cements the fact that he came to sing these songs he thinks are good songs, and that even though he, in his own words, doesn't really listen to music these days, is obviously listening to these songs and wanted to play them and sing them to us. Songs that happen to be by his partner (4 times he goes back to Angel pt. 1 in his live for a total of over 5 minutes singing or humming or adlibbing it), his friends (Seventeen), artists he admires (CP and Taeyang) and a special extra song that happens to live in his head at the moment (Night dancer).

The absence of the songs he didn't play. I think it was kind of loud and clear, don't you?

Anyway, JK came back to us, as he has been doing when JM is absent. He's happy. He looks happy. So I'm happy. And as much as I want more frequent lives from him, if JM being away or absent is the catalyst then I would rather he have his Jiminie by his side than me enjoy him going live. And him going live is pure joy. Do you understand what I'm willing to give up here? Do I need to make myself any clearer?

I want them to be happy is all.
