Someone just said that my examples in the "train yourself away from idolizing lawns and perfectly manicured gardens" post were "still very upper middle class" and like. Y'all really forget not everyone lives in a city? That is the ONLY sense I can make of such a buck-ass wild statement? "Fellas, is it bougie to have... A YARD?" Does this person have literally no concept of a place where poor people don't only live in apartment buildings? Because there are thousands of dirt-poor towns out there where there's no such thing as an apartment building. Have they never seen a trailer park? Out here, my landmark turn to a friend's place is "the liberal butt sign", which is an extra-large poster that says "average liberal voter" and has a photomanip of a man in a suit with his head up his ass. Out here, for years there was a place near my old house with a Trump effigy at the top of a crane truck bucket. If you want to reach people out here, you better start having the slightest clue what their lives are like and what they care about.

And acting like they must be doing fine financially because they own some GRASS isn't a great start.

i finished reading your story and i must say that, while it's alright, there's so many plot holes because the characters made irrational decisions and didn't think logically 100% of the time. consider fixing this next time please

also, the fact your characters weren’t able to overcome their internal struggles is a massive plot hole. everyone knows emotions are very easy to understand and sort, and the fact your characters acted on them was such a massive story contrivance it broke my sense of belief. please fix this.
