Nintendo says don’t be greedy. They sued a husband and wife for $12 million for having a ROM site. They lock in game content behind amiibos. For example, Fusion Mode in Metroid: Samus Returns was locked behind an amiibo which is priced at $30 at GameStop. They locked Mew behind a $50 pay wall in Let’s Go. Until recently, they would copyright claim gameplay videos and take the revenue from it for themselves. The app Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is heavily monetized.

Nintendo wants people to believe that they are the friendly gaming company. They have always been hyper aggressive about their IP and are adopting similar monetizing strategies of the “greedy developers.”

One of my friends passed away recently from COVID and was a Nahua just like me who wanted to revitalize our language and inspire others to engage with their cultures. Instead of sending me freakish and weird messages, please help fund Indigenous mutual aid and learning programs to show you actually care about Indigenous people and not what they look like from two pictures you’ve seen.

She is only 14 and autistic! Please share this so hopefully people from the area can see it and keep their eyes open. It's been over a week, her mom is worried sick.

As of December 2020, sweet Alicia is still missing. It's been over a year. Her mother has never given up hope. Based on all the information I heard about the disappearance, Alicia seemed to have left on her own to go meet someone she had met online, possibly while gaming and it seems they groomed and then snatched her. If anyone has any information about her or the case, please come forward. She is just a child who surely wants to go home, but someone malicious is preventing her.

I know this is out of form, but I think it is still an important share. Missing since June 2020 from Columbus, Ohio!

I’ve found a Facebook page for called “Find Celice Skaggs” ran and regularly updated by Celice’s mother, so I’d thought to add that too to the post, with some additional photos and information.

As stated in her Polly Klaas Foundation Missing Child page, Celice was blonde the last time any of her family members saw her (her hair seems to be dark blonde or light brown naturally, but she did dye it lighter), so the above photo might not be the most accurate one to represent her, since she has dyed her hair many times previously and there’s a possibility that she’s in hiding with a different hair color.

Here’s Celice with some of the other hair colors she’s had. I’m not sure if the nose piercing is real, but it very well could be so.

She is 5′2 and weighs 130 ibs, which makes her weight fall under the healthy weight category. Her BMI is 23.8, and that means she’s in the upper percentile of the healthy category. 

Celice disappeared a few weeks before her birthday, so she is actually 17 now. She is known as CeCe by friends and family and also goes by Celice Payne. CeCe’s mom had been paying for her phone for the past 6 months hoping she would make contact.

As there seemed to have been a certain history of running away (but never for this extent, and never without contact), the police labelled CeCe a runaway, which they later promoted to endangered runaway, so her family ended up hiring a private investigator pretty early on because they thought not enough was being done.

CeCe was in temporary custody of her aunt (the sister of her mother’s ex husband who the mom trusted at the time) due to some family circumstances, which seemed to have included her mother’s battle with a health condition. She never stops looking for her daughter, though.

Some “friends” have claimed to know where CeCe is and there’s been talk about her being in Florida for some reason, but every single one of them refuses to speak and elaborate on it more, so the family doesn’t know how accurate that information is and if it is accurate at all. Still, if you’re in Florida, be on the lookout for this young lady.

Her disappearance has been hard on her folks. They all miss her, especially her littlest brother who struggles to understand what happened to his sister and why. They just want to know where she is and that she is okay.

Her mother hoped that Celice would make her way back home to start her senior year, but there’s been no word from her for over 6 months. It’s especially hard without her around the holidays.

CeCe is both a cheerleader and a member of the school band. She studied and knows multiple languages, with Japanese being her favorite one. She loves her little brothers and dotes on them. She used to have a steady job, which she disappeared going home form.
