Prince Rogers Nelson Amino mourns the untimely death of Charlie Murphy and have posted to inform the Purple Family of this wonderfully talented man's passing. We cannot fathom what Charlie's younger brother Eddie Murphy nor the Murphy Family are going through from this loss. We can only send our sincere condolences. Charlie Murphy fought a good fight against Leukemia until today, when he sadly succumbed to the devastating cancer. May he forever be remembered for his unique personality, stories, voice and comedy.

Some would say that he had a fear of elevators, possibly claustrophobia. A fear of a tightly compacted area, a fear of being trapped, a terrifying realization that his end could be in a mechanism he despised as much as the Devil, himself. He had felt that the reason behind him keeping so many friends nearby was to keep himself from realizing how lonely he truthfully was. Yet...we are born alone and we die alone. The gothic realization...that no matter how talented, gifted and blessed we are, in the end, we can fit in a miniature piano urn...despite how wonderful of a person and musician he was, Death held no favorites. No...He did not pass in his sleep, he had not passed upon a Hospital Bed. He was found, his party forever stopped, by the dark monster of metal which holds numerous dangers. Tell me...has the sky ever turned Purple before his death? He was special, unique and will forever be remembered. Could there truthfully be an Amino Community to discuss such a gifted individual? PRNA has made stellar progress in less than 3 months and we thank all who have joined our Purple Family and all who are still considering to do so! Here's a short post from PRNA about Prince's Controversial Style, specifically Purple Rain Era and Love Sexy Era. Prince had a different style which wasn't accepted by all and led to many criticizing his lifestyle, questioning his sexuality, ethnicity and so on. Despite this, Prince continued to stay true to himself and that alone is inspiring. Prince's civil disobedience assisted with the idea that African Americans can branch out and that you can still be Black even if you are in Rock and Roll!

Care to assist PRNA as a "Helping Dove"?

Prince Rogers Nelson Amino is looking for Helpers who can assist with blogs, quizzes,polls and much more relating to Prince. Such Doves will have a special title, specifically:Helping Dove. They will not be a Curator or Co Leader until later on. We all known Prince's iconic love symbol! A mixture of the Male and Female Symbols, a combination which created an original symbol. A wonderful Member of PRNA expressed their love for Prince as well as the LGBTQ+ by posting their own remix of the symbol with an extra gender.

Are you an artist? Doesn't matter if you're professional or a hobbyist--PRNA wants you to join in this challenge of Purple! A special challenge that requires only Purple,NO OTHER COLORS. Don't worry,you can use different tints of purple, from lilac to plum--try to stay away from azure,wine or slate,please. Purple is more of a cousin of blue,but it should be distinguishable as purple so your entries can be awarded properly. Next month is April...sometimes,it snows in April. He loved Purple...It's a nice color for the clouds.

PRNA has started a month long challenge, each day holds a new activity for the Beloved Doves and Diamonds of Prince Rogers Nelson Amino! From Prince inspired dishes, aesthetics,stories and much more--this month shall be fun for all who participate. Of course,the Beloved Dove who completes the most challenges,not only gains a special title but a possibility to advertise their own Amino for a few weeks as well as a possible endorsement. This will only apply to those with an Amino Community,but the customized title is for any dedicated Dove who can go through 30 days of Prince activities!
