Yet nothing happened, her body wasn’t increasing in physical activity and there were no high stakes to be making her nervous, Otoya just simply moved closer. “Yeah… just feeling nostalgic.” With just one step he seemed so much closer.
—;-{@ Her hand reach out and took hold of his hand. Slowly she brought it to her lips and placed a kiss on the back of his hand. “I want to take you on a date.”
“A date..?” Slightly dazed, the idol continued to look at the girl, repeating her words and taking a few seconds before actually realizing what she just said. “Ehhhhh--- a date..?!” His eyes widened as his cheeks slightly heated up. Somehow wanting to dismiss the idea because ‘they’re friends’, he couldn’t help but feel like Ren was being serious about this.. and no matter how weird it was.. he couldn’t exactly explain the strange feeling inside him either.. maybe actually going on a date would help sort these out..?
“Ahhhh.. Y-You’re not just teasing me right..?!” Making sure of that first, the idol gradually lowered his voice.
“---If you’re not.. m-mhm.. we can.”

@}-;— Otoya was not getting this. Then again considering he came to her asking what kissing was like…. Wait what did he just say? He would rather it be her? Did he really say that? That couldn’t be true. Could it be that he was teasing her like she did him? Her heart was beating faster just from his words. How unusual. Subconsciously her hand went to cover her heart thinking it would make it stop. “Now you’re the one teasing me, not nice.” Ren couldn’t help but tease, because if she didn’t he might notice how vulnerable she was.
“E-Eh?! I’m not teasing you..!” Throwing a quick reply back at her, the redhead was too oblivious to think anything of the words he just said. Though, he could feel that things had gotten a bit.. awkward maybe? Perhaps it would be best to change the subject.. though, as he tried to think of a topic, the hand on Ren’s heart became very obvious to him and he couldn’t help but worry. Stepping closer to the girl, the idol slightly titled his head so he could face her.
“Ne Ren.. are you alright..? You’re not in pain.. right?”

@}-;— She shook her head slightly, her smile returning after he apologized. Otoya really was a sweet heart. Her knees were staring to feel week, it was a strange. Ren leaned back against the wall crossing her arms, “Your first kiss of course. After all you only get one, right? You should make it count.” She still remembered hers because it was something special. Then again it really just depends on how important memories are to someone. But Ren would never want Otoya to waste a moment of love withherwhoever he finds love with.
“---Someone’s gonna try and steal it..?!” Lightly covering his mouth with his hands, the idol murmured something along the lines of ‘now they won’t be able to’, a chuckle escaped him soon after. He found it hard to imagine that someone would actually try and ‘steal’ it.. was she talking about fans? They had always been so nice to him so he found it hard to imagine that.. better not to take risks though.
“Well if anyone were to ‘steal’ it, I’d rather it be you though~!” The redhead chuckled, trying to joke about it with the worst timing. “A-Ahhhh I don’t mean anything by that though..!”

Before she could lean back in the look in his eye changed and he was moving away. As Ren watched him step away her hand raised slightly to grab hold but caught nothing. She was ready to chase but he didn’t go far thankfully.
“Mouuuuuu Ikkiiii” She mimicked him, “You shouldn’t make me want you so much.” Ren was actually caught off guard at her own words a little and her cheeks became a bit pink. Best to move on, and actually get a bit serious.
—;-{@ “I’m sorry…” Maybe she had gone to far this time but . “I can’t help it, you’re just so cute.” That wasn’t teasing she really did mean it. “I’m just trying to show you that you need to watch out. If you’re not careful a mean selfish girl like me will steal it.”
Otoya’s eyes widened slightly at Ren’s act, knowing the girl well enough by now it was easy to tell that she was somewhat shaken by what just happened. “Ahhhh.. I’m sorry too though..! I shouldn’t have asked something so weird...” His heart had started to feel a bit heavy, even though it was still loudly beating in his chest. The combination of the two was rather painful.. why did it continue to beat like that in the first place..?
“---Steal ‘it’..?” The redhead blinked a few times as he tilted his head, repeating what the girl just said. Steal.. what exactly?

Satisfied with the pic, she pulled back to lean on her seat. “I’m actually wishing to see you assumptions, maybe we’ll take ideas from there!~” Tomo chuckled, she truly enjoyed keeping in touch with her fans and involving them ( more ) seemed like a good idea for something like this. “Now that you mention it…” Taking out her own phone, the redhead showed a pic of a big bouquet. “Prettiest flowers I’ve got in a while! I know these were sent by fans, but for some reason there were no names included? At whoever sent me this, please message me! I’d love to thank you myself. — What about you, Otoya? Any mysterious packages?~”
“---Ehhhh that’s so nice..!!” The idol exclaimed, red eyes slightly widening at his response. “I do hope you get to meet them someday~!” Bringing up his index finger, the male let it rest against his cheek as he started thinking about Tomo’s question. “Hmmmmmm... I haven’t had any mysterious ones myself but..” Giving a bit more thought, a chuckle escaped him before he continued his story.
“Tokiya got this huuuuuge box with chocolates from a fan once..! Though.. I’m not sure if everyone knows but.. ---Tokiya isn’t exactly fond of sweets.. not wanting to let them go to waste, he gave them to me..~ I was able to eat chocolates for days~! ---Ahhh if said fan is watching, he did eat some of them though..! We both liked them a lot, thank you very much~~!!”

“That was amazing Kosuke..!!!” The idol cheered, joining in Gaysuko’s applause as his smile started to stretch from cheek to cheek. He’d honestly do really well as an idol.. maybe someday~
“Mhm..” A bit unsure because he didn’t know the song, the idol wished for the vocals to start. The male on the screen reminded him a bit of Tokiya so he tried to mimic his roommate’s voice and acting a little... he just had to make sure it wouldn’t end up cracking him up.

Ren was trying to explain it as to how it related to Otoya. After all she kissed plenty of boys for no reason other than it was something to do. For her kisses had long lost their meaning, but that wasn’t the case for him. “Kisses can also just come in the moment. Like after dates… or just being close to someone. " —;-{@ She stepped forward encouraging him back into the wall as her arm rested next to his head. "You’re a special case. You haven’t had your first kiss yet, have you? I could fix that you know~” Her other hand cupped his chin, letting her thumb running across his lower lip. They looked soft, felt soft too. Would it be too selfish for her to take that kiss for herself? He did make her happy. Oddly enough that was the thing stopping her. Slowly she leaned in but instead of his lips, she pressed her lips to his cheek.
Love was complicated.. wasn’t it? Otoya definitely loved all his friends.. but was that a different sort of love then? Conversation almost flying over his head, the idol did hang onto every word she said. Almost in a daze, the redhead was soon pulled back to reality when he was led toward the wall. His eyes instantly widened as they locked with hers, heart pounding as he tried to figure out what was happening. “Ren.. ehm.. I..” The idol stuttered as he desperately tried to come up with the right words to say, but failed horribly.
Her touch, her words, they were enough to make his mind go blank. As she leaned closer, he almost instinctively closed his eyes as he lightly pursed his lips, he was lost enough in the moment to go with it but.. she stopped? An almost disappointed like feeling filled his body as he slightly pulled back, locking his now half lidded eyes with hers.
“---Ren..?” Mere seconds later, the idol snapped out of it, red hues widening as he maneuvered out of his position, taking a few steps back. Bringing up one hand, he used it to cover the bottom half of his face so she wouldn’t notice how red he had gotten.. her teasing was going to be the end of him someday.
“Mouuu Rennnn..! Y-You shouldn’t tease me like that..!”

“---E-Eh..?! I-I was just curious really..” Seeing everyone around him slowly fall in love or be at least interested in it.. the redhead felt quite like a late bloomer. Aside from his feelings he once had for a certain classmate.. he had never actually felt “in love” before, or so he thought.
Judging by the fact that his friend was both popular with males and females, the guitarist could only assume that Ren had quite the experience.. she should definitely be able to teach him more about the subject, right..?

Let me be TOTALLY frank about RP:
There are a TON of long-winded posts & PSAs about being a “Great RP Partner” or “Someone that X will always want to write with.” I’m guilty of those long-winded posts myself, but let’s cut to the bone: There’s really only 3 things that make a desirable, and respected partner out of you, so here it is in a quick nutshell, NO SUGAR COATINGl:
When in doubt, ASK if it’s okay to post, ask, ship, or “do the thing.”
Some people have rules that state they are open to all kinds of things on their blog, but it NEVER HURTS TO ASK AND TALK TO THE MUN OOC, even if you are mutuals. I don’t care how “shy” you are. It’s WAY MORE disrespectful to bypass someone’s boundaries than it is to “bug” them with an ooc request. I guarantee no one on tumblr is offended if you ASK first. Forcing your muse, ships, rps and your preferences on people because you want it bad and feel obligated to get to play it out, is BAD form. And please, don’t be a hypocrite and demand that people bow to YOUR rules, but break all of theirs. DOUBLE bad form.
Don’t shit where you eat.
You can’t gossip, vague, post negative personal things, pick fights, bully, or be a blog whipmaster in your fandom or clique—and still expect people to hold interest in you & want to send you things. Don’t act so hurt/surprised if you post a lot of negative and demanding things on your rp blog, and “suddenly” close friends want to back off of you. Same for posting BEGGING ooc posts that you’re “SO bored OMG where are all my threads?!” and that “no one is rp’ing” with you. It’s all in the tone if voice and frequency. If people see constant posts whining about how no one is playing with you, you will lose what few people you have. This is scary behavior and makes people uneasy. It’s the truth. It’s life. It’s expected and natural to want to space yourself from someone that is nasty, whiney, demanding, and angry all the time.
Flakiness and disappearing acts have a price, and that price is losing partners.
I know people lose muse and have lives outside of rp. But if you are someone that graces your blog once in a blue moon, or post a ton of self promos on a dead or absentee blog with no intention of staying on it long enough to GAIN real partners, you will lose partners. No one wants to be “the bad guy” and say it; but I will be the bad guy, because I know it needs to be said:
If you make a TON of rp blogs, never stay on them outside of a couple short sessions, play with only ONE person while consistently ignoring your other steady partners, or abandon all of them for months and STILL expect people to hold interest in your muse? You’re dreaming. True, there’s always a couple partners out there that feel obligated to maintain the relationships even after ages apart, but let’s be real. Muses, like people, lose intrest in someone that ignores them frequently or is never there. Don’t act all butt-hurt about it and cry foul because you feel it’s perfectly cool to make a million blogs and abandon them long stints at a time. NO ONE IS OBLIGATED TO STICK AROUND and wait. If you’re cool with that and already accept that fact, great, you’re mature. I salute YOU for your honesty.
