Messy bowl of rice for dinner tonight: 3 cups white/brown/wild rice mix + 1/4 avo + mushrooms + chopped parsley dill garlic mix π With sriracha, nooch and dried herbs as usual. Had another long day at work, so my insta game isn't very strong atm. Besides my family's other cat Pikku came to stay with us for a while, so a bit of extra work there. I'd say Rumba is not exactly happy about this πΎ Really interesting noises are being made, to say the least. They'll be fine in the morning I'm sure, they've only been separated for a month or so anyway π
3 cups jasmine + 1/4 avo + parsley + dried tomato + basil tahini sauce was my dinner after a 10-hour day at work and running pretty much only on dates and nanas, and it tasted so gooood. The smell of fresh cooked rice when you walk through the door is just πππ Topped this with sriracha, nooch and dried herbs. No oil or salt involved here πβοΈ
750g Blue Congo potatos + basil + mushrooms + dill tahini sauce for din dins tonight. So simple but oh so gooood. No oil or salt as usual, just nooch, sriracha, dried herbs and lemon juice to season π½ All carbed up, this monkey is ready for bed π
This morning I went for an early 16 km run in the snow π¨ and then refueled with gingerbread spice nicecream + mango (+ a lil dark sugar and maple syrup π). Weird combo but worked soooo well! To-do list for today includes stretching, painting my toe nails aaaand going to see The Big Short. Trying to take it easy before six looong days at work π€
Day off, yessss πβοΈ Had a great start to the day with a 6-banana vanilla nicecream with cinnamon date paste swirled through + tahini maple sauce + cardamom + one fluffy fig π Definitely my favorite combo of flavors. Now some cleaning at home, then yoga class and maybe shopping for shoes for my boyfriend, dunno really, we'll see what we come up with β¨ Have a good day fruitbats!
Basmati I love you. Basically monomealed on bananas and dates through the day, so a big bowl (and I mean big, like 3-4 cups + more afterwards) of rice was necessary. Kept it super simple with my fave curry tahini sauce + avo + basil + sriracha, nooch and lemon πSo. frigging. delicious. Today was another long day, beginning with a 14 km run to the cafΓ©, then kitchen work, interviews and sandwich photography, and finally home to stretch and just BE. And watch Making a Murderer. Seriously can't stop.
Carbed up after an hour of HIIT with a bowl of 5 chopped up bananas drowned in strawberry banana mylk (3 nanas, 1 c berries, 2 c water, vanilla). Topped with the juiciest dried fig everrr, some maple syrup, cinnamon and beet powder π Superfood morning noms before a busy day ( 7 h work, then interviewing potential employees, yoga and a massage). Have a good one!
Oh my goodness today's dinner was goddamn amazing. 3 cups jasmine rice + corn + mushrooms + 1/4 avo + herbed kale + fresh coriander and basil + the BEST curry tahini sauce everrr π (1/4 c tahini, 1 tbsp lemon juice and maple syrup each, ~ 1 tbsp madras curry, ~ 1 tsp turmeric + hot water to thin). Sriracha and nooch to top. Love love love. No oil or salt, just loads of carbs and veggies ππͺ It was a busy day for me today, 8h shift and some kitchenware shopping with mom (got those beautiful chopsticks π). Time for another episode of Making a Murderer, I'm so hooked!
Din dins on point tonight π 3 cups brown rice, one huge portobello, 1/4 avo, kale + dill tahini sauce (tahini, dill, maple syrup, lemon juice, water) + loads of fresh parsley, sriracha and nooch πβ¨ So frigging tasty, can't get over it π Dessert was a bit more rice with maple syrup π Now off to watch Making a murderer with my guy and kitty, nighty!
Started this Sunday off with strawberry vanilla nicecream (6 nanas) with mango and beet powder + a handful of dates. Haven't had a long lazy morning at home in ages, so I'm reaaaally enjoying this banana bowl and Youtube videos. Mom's coming over for yoga in a bit, then a mini 4-hour shift at work and later on gonna go see a movie with mom (my boyfriend won't watch Zoolander with me and I'm too much of a wimp to watch The Revenant π€π) Have a great Sunday y'all!
Post-kickboxing HIIT sweatfest brekkie π¦π 6 banana vanilla nicecream with a sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon, dates and more bananaaaa - so GOOD.
11h shift got me craving for nanas... Ended the day with a 6-banana strawberry vanilla nicecream, topped with tahini/maple/vanilla sauce, strawberry jam and dates. Nighty π
Munching on mangos today β¨π½ Thought I'd keep this day all clean and fruity just to stay connected to the basics of running on fruit, primarily - datorade and more dates for brekkie (worth about 800 kcal), then mangos to take me through 10 h at work πͺ Planning on having a mountain of nana icecream at night, maybe a leafy green salad as well ππ¦ I'll probably be snacking on bananas or apples if need be. You all have a happy Thursday!
Wowza this became my new favorite recipe π 3 cups white + wild rice and corn with a mixture of shredded basil, parsley, kale, spinach, garlic and lemon juice. SO much flavor, without any salt or oil π Also had some avo, lime juice, nooch and sriracha. Kept going back for seconds, this stuff is really addictive π
Dinnerrrr! 700g of the cutest lil potatoes, cauliflower, mushrooms and 1/4 avo + curry tahini maple sauce (omg so good π) + parsley and basil + nooch and sriracha π No oil or salt, as usual. Staying carbed up day and night!
Post-yoga brekkie was two super juicy mangos and a 3-banana nicecream tower with cinnamon date paste and some dark sugar π Not sure about how well mangos and bananas combine for me but we'll see! Hope it works put cause this was a seriously delicious combo π
