Things that will happen when you first start losing weight.

1. You are going to be hungry because you aren’t used to eating less yet.

2. You are going to be preoccupied with food because you are hungry and eating less.

3. Both these things are going to make you somewhat miserable for awhile.

4. If you stick it out, this discomfort lessens over time and becomes manageable.

5. Even after you are feeling a little more at ease with things, there are going to be times when saying no is going to be hard.

6. You are going to mess up (and you are going to mess up often), it’s inevitable. The question is do you continue to mess up day after day or do you decide to go back to normal afterwards and move on? Beating yourself up over mistakes only leads to more mistakes.

7. Losing weight doesn’t come without hardship. There is no diet in the world that is going to make losing weight easy and painless. The concept is simple enough, eat less, but the execution takes time to adjust to. Changing old habits can make you feel pretty lousy at first.
