The situation in the West Bank is spiralling from Ramallah, Hebron and Bethlehem.

Jenin is under siege, tanks are seen at the entrance of the Jenin refugee camp. Israeli snipers are positioned on top of buildings shooting as they please, and drones are roaming the sky of the refugee camp and had actually bombed the old city of Jenin with 3 Palestinians killed so far this morning (December 12). News and footage are just coming out and it's horrific.

Night raids and abductions have been accelerated in the past two months with 3800 abductions since October 7, and 278 Palestinians including children had been murdered in the West Bank since October 7 by Israeli forces, many are seen literally executed by Israeli occupation forces on the streets.

Okay I know this blog hasn’t been touched in forever but I’ve gotten followed by multiple porn-bots on a daily basis now and I even got mentioned by one on a post I have never interacted with in my life. What the fuck is going on and why are all these bots interested in me, considering I’m not active here or even shown my face? (Is the icon sexy? Do bots look at my updated icon and go ‘I want to send my nudes to her’?

Given that’s I’ve spent around 9 months working on a short film for my college year making anything else has been personally difficult. Since getting the film submitted has freed me up quite a bit I am gonna try and get back into doing stuff for myself that could also fit into a future portfolio. One of them has been giving one of my OCs (Corun Sesh) a redesign AND an animation turnaround sheet. Up above is a comparison between an earlier design and the one I’m doing rn. Corun is meant to be a child of Clone troopers who grew up in a Mandalorian Clan so I tried to make their outfit more of a mix of both Clone and Mandalorian armour.

It’s Star Wars Culture week! My family is Polish on my dad’s side (my last name makes it quite obvious lol) and I wanted to incorporate that into Star Wars! You don’t see much Slavic inspiration in Star Wars, let alone Polish inspiration.

I decided to take Pantorans and do a bit redesigning! I think Slavic culture fits them quite well, since they’re built for cold weather!

Another member of Clan Daryc; Nodo Ghost (She/her). A former True Mandalorian and non-human exile who narrowly avoided the massacre on Galidraan and eventually became a founding member of Daryc as a refuge for Non-Human Mandalorians.  This is still technically a WIP I had of her in my folder for ages before I decided to upload the art with some colour and shading. I did initially want her wearing green armour to symbolise her duty to Daryc but I do admit the gold version is growing on me more. Maybe her green armour was for when she was in the True Mandalorians and she painted it gold and silver in remembrance and avenging their destruction.

Was gonna do a line up of this Clan I created called Clan Daryc (Brown Clan, very creative I know), that consisted of mostly non-human members. But after having little satisfaction with it I decided I would take each character I drew here and finish them off as separate character references. So far I’m more satisfied with how this one turned out. I’ve got a few more in the works so expect this to take up the week.

So yeah this reference is for one Myles K’nolo, who recently took up his late-father’s role of Blacksmith for Daryc. Having to balance his new responsibilities with providing income as a contracted mercenary/hunter, Myles faces an internal struggle on whether he can truly live up to his father’s legacy whilst still providing for the clan.

[Visual Description: Character Reference Sheet depicting a tall, bulky Togruta wearing weathered black Mandalorian armour striped with gold and red and a large purple jacket. On his back hangs a ‘modified pulse-phase rifle. To the right of him is an illustration of his face underneath the helmet, looking to be in his late thirties with a stern expression and jagged scars running across his face and montrels. Surrounding both illustrations are a series of highlighted notes. On his right houlder: “Colour fading from wear and tear”. Atop his helmet: “’Blactl’ horn tips”. On his left shoulder: “Honorary True Mandalorian symbol”. Next to his rifle: “Modified pulse-phase rifle”. On his left side: “Chestplate inherited from Buir”. Near his left hand: “Heat-resistant leather gloves”. Next to his exposed face: “Scars from an intense knife fight way back in his teens”. In the botton left corner, the name Myles K’nolo is listed both in English and Mando’a script. Underneath both is the following notes: 2.15 metres. Tallest member of Clan Dareesh. Pretends to be tough around outsiders. Deeply affectionate to this he cares about. Constantly doubting himself.]

Remembered Pride was around the corner and tried to get something out within the month. This time I wanted to focus on the Mandosonas of mine that are all Non-Binary. First we have Cetoi T’seet (ey/em), Corun Seesh (xe/xir), Pyrs Teema (ke/kir) and Cerali T’seet (he/they). I feel it’d be fascinating to explore what it means to be Non-Binary in a Mandalorian Society, especially one with a strong family emphasis and at the same time little to no division of gender roles.

Spent a whole week redrawing a panel from Jango Fett: Open Seasons. Honestly I feel somewhat proud at how drawing this turned out even though I didn’t exactly replicate the panel like I thought I would.

[Visual Description: Digitally illustrated panel showing a group of Mandalorians marching towards the gangway of a ship, in the mid foreground, Jaster Mereel is standing with a bayonet slung over his shoulder, his helmet turned to the far right side where a young Jango Fett is smiling, his left arm held up in a two-fingered salute. Two dialogue bubbles read as follows: Jaster: Make me proud, Jango. Jango: Yes Sir, Jaster.]

Doing a bit of @ollovae3‘s Mando challenge where you make a mandosona based on your culture. I decided to base my one of the Irish Warrior King Lugh, as illustrated by Kim Fitzpatrick. I like to imagine they were a prominent Mandalore from before the Civil War, following in Tarra Vizla’s lineage.
