gen z culture is using ‘I love you’ casually, but it still meaning a lot each time. personally I don’t believe that saying it often makes it lose its meaning - I love a lot of things. I love fictional characters, I love my friends for giving me food even tho they don’t have to because I’m a hungry theiving vulture, I love my best friend of 12 years trying her hardest to help me with my gender troubles despite being cishet herself and not fully understanding it, i love all the shitty little doodles I draw on the backs of my tests and the jokes my teacher makes in science. I have a lot of emotions to go around, lots of things to appreciate in the world, lots of love. and I want to share it.
