Mod Update - 03/10/25

Long time no see! I took a Sims break these last few months while I was focusing on other things, and in the meantime we had a couple updates as well as a new EP release. This is the first batch of updates, but expect at least one more to come later down the week.

Mod Update - Custom Loading Screens

Just yesterday I learned that custom loading screens broke with one of the recent patches, which I didn't realize because I've been playing with the vanilla loading screens. @vyxated made a wonderful post about why they broke which you can find here.

At first I was gonna hold back from updating mine because some new assets and code indicate that Maxis is planning to change the loading screens, which means they're gonna break again soon.

But then I went and updated them anyway 😅

Mod Update - Life & Death EP

As usual, Sim Spawn Overhaul and Purple Skies needed to be updated for the new world.

I should note that there's a neighborhood in Ravenwood that has very unique lighting and ambience which I didn't touch at all, except for reducing fog and bloom.

Mod Update - Patch 1.110.265

A bunch of script mods broke with this patch. Please make sure to download the latest version of XML Injector if you're using Influential!

I will also be including changelogs for each mod in these update posts from now on, for those who don't use Curseforge.
