So this is actually me redrawing an older picture I drew forever ago of my OC vampire Chris. That time I was going for a more realistic style. This time I decided to not go lineless/realistic, and focus more on some simpler artwork and shading, but focus very much on contrast. I kept most the background black and exaggerated how pale he'd be to stand out (before I drew it with red bedding) which also helps the ribbon stand out, which is partially supposed to be evocative of blood. Also, originally it was candlelit, but again, went for contrast and stylization rather than realism for this piece. I also really wanted his hair to look more gold than gold. I'm really, really happy and proud with how this came out! :3 The angle of it was also definitely a challenge but I'm ultimately happy with it! I'm tagging it as mature just to be safe, since it's definitely meant to be a little provocative because he is definitely a flirt. He started as a clan toreador vamprie from a freeform WoD rp, but has evolved into something very different. He’s also going to make an appearance in one of my projects, though actually not as a vampire! :3 Hope you like it <3

The themes for it were the flashes, and I chose Descend (actually I had a huuuge list I applied for but this is one of them) because I love it and find it touching and it was the flash that got me truly hooked. It was at this point I was completely absorbed into the story. (And after Cascade, it transformed to the point where I did nothing but read it until I was done.) I originally had a version with all the kids on their meteors, which I ended up cutting cause it crowded the composition too much, but I decided to throw that version up here too so you guys can see. I also went more intensely into Jade’s hair lol.

I forgot to post this picture! My favorite pice I’ve done. Ever :3 Crow, my OC from my changeling game, and his keeper. This piece was definitely a case of me really liking the pose and then trying to give him clothes that justified covering as little as possible lol. But it still works in my option! I really love this piece <3

The bottom one was what I first drew, but apparently drew them going the wrong direction and since some of them have assymetrical looks, it wouldn’t be as easy as just flipping it, so I decdied to redraw... and ended up loking it much better. (Plus they look so much happier! Bday gift for my husband :3

His favorite character, Magus from Chrono Trigger. For being one of the greatest games of all time there is a lamentable dirth of Chrono Trigger fanart so I’m doing my small part. Also there’s Alfador because who doesn’t love Alfador.

Just an FYI for anyone who likes homestuck stuff, but a toooon of designs are being discontinued. (I know since I had several designs? But there’s a lot of cool stuff that just won’t be available.) (As another side note, I know plenty of people don’t like ffbf? My own thoughts are, their quality is way higher than redbubble, and I want to do things the official way. I’ve definitely had some issues with them and how they handled things, don’t get me wrong? But I figured some people might just care about the merch so *shrug*)

Happy 413 everyone! I was originally more ambitious and planned to do all the chibis, but due to other projects ran out of time :( Still, I’m really happy with these! (Originally was going to be a postcard that was just covered in chibis, possibly to be sent to my patrons as a bonus postcard with increasingly small sizes. Today is my birthday, which also means the anniversary of the changeling game my husband started running at my request last year, which I have completely fallen in love with and enjoyed tremendously. As both a birthday gift to myself and a way to celebrate, I decided to turn some of my changeling’s durance/backstory into webtoon form. (I also have plans for other sections of the story, actually!)

My piece fo the Robots of Homestuck Zine. :3 I love seb, and in this piece he’s signing I love you. I love art nouveau stuff as well, so I really went for that in the piece... which was a bit of a challenge because art nouveau stuff is traditionally very inspired by nature, natural forms and dreamlike states. Trying to combine such an organic style with a robot was an interesting but fun challenge. Also, all the flowers in the piece have meanings: Seb Flowers: Violets (Loyalty, devotion, faithfulness, modesty) Edelweiss (Courage, Devotion) Dirk Flowers: Amaryllis (Pride) Hollyhock (Ambition) Jane Flowers: Bluebells (Humility, Constancy)

It’s been a while since I did any homestuck art, so I decided to draw some Davekat for valentines. (Also becauseI  miss it, and have been rewatching with a friend, and I love it.) I recently switched to CSP from Photoshop and decided to play around with gradients. I miiiight go backand finish this in a more traditional way? Or play around with other colors etc more... but I also kind of like it? So idk. Anyway, please enjoy! :3 I do like outfit swapping, but I was too lazy to go all out with Dave’s boxer pattern lol. Again, might revisit later, but part of this was a challenge in experimenting and finishing this in a day. Happy Valentines!

(He’s a Fox Shifter, so hunting for food is a pretty good way to show off how talented he is and show his affection, but I was worried it might sound like he hurt animals for fun or something, which is not at all what I want because Asher is wonderful and I love him.)
