I like to think that Arbok's hood patterns are influenced by their environment. When they evolve, they can take on the markings of their parent, or maybe they take after the trainer who raised them (who may or may not have an intimidating look to them)

since mrs, ms, and mr are all descended from the latin word magister, i propose the gender neutral version should be mg, short for "mage"

You all feel the breaking of something as you go your separate ways. But not everything is forever. Not every story gets ground down to a bitter end. Most of you left standing, scattered across the world, to start telling new stories.

I know that it can be difficult not to view the world through the lenses of your traumas and how natural it is to learn to bite because words never worked for you. I know how we form instincts from traumas in the past to keep us safe in the present.

That doesn’t mean those instincts are always correct. That doesn’t mean they’re always keeping us safe. That doesn’t mean everyone who triggers us is actually dangerous and deserves to be bitten.

You have to learn to tell the difference.
