‘You nearly died’ kiss. Set in the canon universe at…some point.

Clarke takes off at a run, dodging her way through the throng of people as best she can, heart in her throat and a loud drumming in her ears that won’t settle no matter how many times she tells herself it’s fine, it’s fine.

Bellamy is fine.

But really, there’s only a certain degree of fine you can achieve when you’ve been impaled, and Clarke’s never going to get that image out of her head: Bellamy, staring down at the spear protruding from his body with something that looked dangerously close to relief.

Blood had pooled against his jacket, and he had looked up and caught her eye for one terrible moment before time had started moving again, before Miller had thrown her to the ground to shield her from another onslaught of arrows.

It hadn’t been until much later, until they’d finally gotten him back to medical, that Clarke even realized the spear had hit his shoulder, not his heart. That he had passed out from pain and blood loss—terrifying in their own right, of course, but not deadly. Not yet.

She barrels through the door to the medical station, eyes wild. “Bellamy’s awake?”

She doesn’t even give Harper a chance to answer before she’s striding to the bed in the far corner where Bellamy—stupidly—is attempting to prop himself up on his good shoulder.

“Lie down,” she commands. Her hands are shaking.

“Is everyone okay?” Bellamy asks, ignoring her entirely. “Are you okay? Did Octavia—”

She cuts him off by grabbing his jaw, craning down, and kissing him, hard. It comes as much of a shock to her as it must to him, but she needs some relief from that furious desperation, needs his skin against hers. He makes a startled noise in the back of his throat, but then he’s kissing back, and for those few moments before Clarke pulls away, it feels like she can breathe again.

“Down,” she instructs, squeezing his cheeks to lower his head back against the bed.

“Ouch,” he yelps.

“Does it hurt, being speared?” He’s staring up at her with wide, wondrous eyes, and she has to work to keep her tone strict. “I’ll bet it does. So stay lying down, okay?”

“Jeez,” he mutters. But he’s smiling, that rare Bellamy smile that makes it all the way up to his eyes. It’s almost too much to take.

“I leave you alone for five minutes and that’s when you wake up,” says Clarke, breaking eye contact as she leans over to inspect his bandage.

“You know me,” says Bellamy. “I like to be difficult.”

His fingers drum against the edge of the bed, and Clarke lets herself grab them for a moment, squeeze them tight. “You really do.”

I am ready to see you again

by carrieevew

She noticed someone sitting behind one of the trees. Long legs outstretched in front of him, and Ark guard’s jacket covering his shoulders and a head of dark messy curls resting against the tree trunk. Clarke choked on air and froze in her steps, yanking on Wells’s hand. He turned to look at her, still smiling. She couldn’t understand how he could do that. “He’s been sitting there, waiting for you, ever since we realised you were coming.” series finale fix-it

Words: 2605, Chapters: 1/1, Language: English

It’s not just Bellamy and Clarke that’s ruined & broken forever in my eyes, it’s:

Bellamy and Octavia Bellamy and Murphy Bellamy and Emori Bellamy and Miller Bellamy and Jordan Bellamy and Raven Bellamy and Madi Bellamy and Echo Bellamy and Indra

Bellamy was important to all of these characters because he had been there for them all, more for them than Clarke ever had or ever would (post Mount Weather & the SIX YEARS on the Ring as examples) and we didn’t get closure for ANY OF THOSE RELATIONSHIPS!

Jason literally said FUCK YOU

not just to Bellarkes,

but to every other shipper in this fandom.

You wanna know how much of a clown I am?

I thought with Clarke going to get the flame with the eclipse happening at the same time,

that we would get Cadogan telling Bellamy to go look for Clarke;

Putting them both in proximity to each other

without antitoxin

and then forcing them both

to confront their demons

(and their love for each other)

But no,

I’m a clown.

The most naive clown.

Honk honk

&

Fuck you Jason.

I still cannot fucking believe Clarke Griffin killed Bellamy Blake. If someone had told me this would happen during season 6 (not even, I don't know, season 3, LITERALLY LAST SEASON) I would have laughed so hard. Season 6 ended with an entire arc about Bellamy saving Clarke cause the heart can't lose the head and now we got Clarke shooting Bellamy IN THE HEART OF ALL PLACES? I just can't believe it. "You've got such a big heart Bellamy", "Once the head stops telling the heart to beat, it's over", "The heart and the head?", "Together" are literal punches in the fucking gut now. Jason literally ruined Bellarke forever for all of us after we got his show renewed over and over again. What a petty, ridiculous, enfuriating writer. I would have been okay with Bellamy dying. But not like this. The stupidest, dumbest death possible. Clarke couldn't shoot him to save the fucking human race, and all of the sudden, just like that, she killed his brainwashed best friend over a stupid book? Are you telling me they really couldn't find anything better? I cannot fucking believe Bellamy, the hero of this story, died knowing everyone hated him, not saying goodbye to anyone, by the hand of his very best friend CONVINCED SHE WOULD NEVER SHOOT HIM. This is too heart breaking.

"He'd do anything for her, to protect her"

"Look at the thanks he got"

It's not clever writing, it's just a pointless tragedy made out of pettiness. And WE are the ones who invested energy, time and dedication on this show and this dynamic for YEARS, and that's a whole other tragedy in itself. I honestly feel sick to my stomach. I'm really sad and I'm writing this to make sense to what I'm feeling, even tho there's no fucking sense at all in any of this.

Bellamy Blake deserved better.

Hell, even Clarke Griffin did.

you know those fics that people started writing after season two, where the delinquents came back from mount weather and they tried staying with the adults from the ark but quickly realized that it just couldn’t work anymore so bellamy and clarke would gather all the delinquents and they would leave to find a new home like they had in season one and then it was just the delinquents basically making bets on when bellamy and clarke would finally get together?

yeah mentally i’m there

those were the days
