the last thing bennett would ever do was tell his friend what had happened. he couldn’t hurt his best friend like that. bennett rocked on his heels for a moment and sighed, “you can come in and wait if you want.. “ he suggested pushing the door open more. “i mean he will be a bit but.. no point in leaving and coming back.” he offered.
refusing would only make things more awkward between them as she did just say that they should put what happened behind them and forget about it. “oh okay. i’ll just wait here then.” katherine said before she walked inside their apartment. “do you have any idea what time he’ll be back? i wouldn’t want to burden you by being here.”

it had only dawned on the brunette that her sister had moved out of his place a month ago – and she wasn’t here. fuck, why was she such a fuck up? his question caused the girl to look up at him, a sour distaste in her mouth at the question. no, she wasn’t selena, she wasn’t this little miss perfect, she wasn’t good. “no.” she comments the tone in her voice almost sharp before she steadied herself on the door frame – the hallway was spinning, and it didn’t help that she was wearing heels. once stumbling inside the apartment, she kicked the shoes to the side, now small and barefoot. “no – don’t tell her anything.. if she finds out i’m here i’ll never hear the end of it – i just.. i need to think.” she’s scrambles, running her fingers anxiously through her raven locks. “i just need a few days to talk to my land lord – i can sleep at work tomorrow.”
adrian knew there was something going on between the twins but he never really talked about it with selena. andrea wasn’t something they talked about anyways and if they did, selena would simply shrug the topic off. “woah okay, just making sure.” he mumbled as he saw andrea looking rather annoyed by his question. “feel at-” he was about to tell her to make herself feel at home but the woman was already busy taking off her shoes. adrian couldn’t do anything but comply with her request, seeing as he didn’t want to get into their family problems. “that’s okay. selena’s family is practically my family too so feel free to stay for as long as you need.” he said, truthfully. selena is his best friend and he’d certainly feel guilty if something happened to andrea because he wouldn’t let her stay. “in the meantime, i think you need to get some rest before you end up throwing up all over the apartment.”

he didn’t understand how anyone was dumb enough to let dani walk out of their life. but then again, she had always been a supernova to him since the day they met. the girl was bright, full of life even when they attempted to drain it out of her. sure, she had a little bit of a drinking problem as of lately, but he couldn’t be picky. xavier was.. well, he was different, to say the least. extremely gifted, very smart, but also awkward – and not at all picked up on social queues, with all the do’s and don’ts. “unfortunately if we don’t have you at least in bed by 2:15 with a glass of water and an advil down, the hangover process is out of my hands.” he looks her over, not understanding the bit of sarcasm she was using. “sure yeah, i mean.. we can stay as long as you want i suppose…” he glances to the male puking in the bushes. so – this was the fun he heard so much about. it seemed a bit – messy.
xavier was always someone dani found peculiar. he never went to parties with her, hardly hung out with anyone and that just puzzled her. it wasn’t like the guy was horrible, despite his initial awkwardness to things the guy was alright and he didn’t seem like the other guys she’d dated before. “are you my dad now xavier? i thought i got rid of curfews when i was in the eighth grade.” she said, giggling as she continued to clutch his arm. she did have too much to drink so the way she was acting was not like how she normally would. “really? you’re actually going to stay? if that’s the case, did i already tell you that he broke up with me?” she asked, her words already slurred. “and now he’s fucking kissing another girl. he’s such an asshole. tell me, am i not pretty enough?”

mason didn’t usually go out of his way to do nice things for people, and assumed he was supposed to be rewarded something for the deeds he did… she was however proving that not to be true. not even a thank you. he wouldn’t lie, it did bother him. “whatever.” he grumbled, annoyance evident in the shift of his tone, his hand reached out to turn up the radio, not even caring what was on – anything was better than the silence that surrounded them. “when someone does something nice you usually say thank you, by the way.” and there it was, even though he shouldn’t have said it, he did. “this is an expensive car, think about how lucky you are that i was in the right place at the right time and that i didn’t just drive right by you. lord knows i could’ve.”
maybe she should have at least thanked him for the ride but she’s too prideful for that. she’s already treated the guy coldly, thanking him would just contradict her previous actions. angel decided that she’d rather focus out the window than stay inside in complete awkward silence. perhaps she shouldn’t have taken the ride, anything would have been better than this but she couldn’t risk getting sick nor getting her things wet. she was in the middle of daydreaming when she suddenly heard him talking. does this guy only think about himself? “i’m sorry. am i suppose to be groveling at your feet or something just because you offered me a ride in your expensive car? well then, thank you for offering someone like me a ride home in your expensive car your highness.”

“well if you want me to be completely honest i am not exactly a fan of your boyfriend he seems like a real loser.” cameron was never known as the type of guy that kept his thoughts to himself and from the first time that he had met katherine’s boyfriend he knew that they weren’t going to get along for the simple fact that he didn’t want their friendship to be as close as they were. “time to cool off? how do you know that he isn’t busy at some party kissing or fucking some other girl katherine? i am sorry for saying it that way but he seems like that type of guy. i know that i am and i’m grateful for that, but i also don’t want to be the reason that your relationship is fucked up.”
katherine understood why cameron might have felt that way towards her boyfriend but she never thought that he’d actually speak about it. “he’s not.” she said, feeling the need to defend him despite actually thinking that cameron might be right about that one. her boyfriend is a complete jerk and sometimes she even had to question herself why she was dating the guy but she never had the courage to confront her boyfriend about it. “let’s not go there.” she pleaded, hoping that that wouldn’t be the case. “he may seem like the type but i don’t think he’d actually do it well i hope not. what should i do cam? i mean i think the only reason he’s mad is because we’re friends but at the same time i don’t want to lose you too.”

Cameron had become annoyed with his family as of lately and it was the reason that he had found himself over at the female’s house, and it wasn’t like the two of them were together or anything he just tended to visit her when he needed to get away from his family. “I hope that I didn’t ruin your plans with lover boy tonight it’s just all my siblings seem to be having relationship problems and I don’t really want to listen to their bitching and crying.”
although the recent fights with her boyfriend were all about her having cameron over, katherine couldn’t care less. she’s been friends with him longer than their relationship anyways and it wasn’t like they were doing anything illegal. it was the fact the her boyfriend didn’t trust her that made her second guess their relationship. “don’t worry about him, he won’t be around for a few days. apparently he thinks we need time to ‘cool off’. and also you know you’re always welcome to stay.”
