I wanted to share some of my meta writing with you. I don't claim to be a great meta writer. I will never compare to the greats, like Tink, naruheart etc. I just like to write. I hope you get some enjoyment from it and maybe even learn something you didnt know along the way. Warning this post may be long.

Last season we had Cas saying "we were a family and I didnt want to lose that"

This season we got Dean saying "He was our kid"

The first one said by Cas was literally directed at Dean. Not Sam...but Dean. Yeah, Sam is his family too, but the big "WE"the "we" that i feel he meant and what the audience was meant to take away from it, is Dean, Cas and Jack are the "we"being referenced.

The second one uttered by Dean when it was Cas and himself in just last weeks episode. There was no Sam to be seen. The "our" we're supposed to take away from this is again, Dean and Cas.

This comes after a slew of episodes last season, where Destiel and Jack are pushed as a separate unit from the rest of them. Kind of like when you get married, and you have kids. Your parents and siblings will always be your family. But there is this other family separate from them...your spouse and child. You're a unit all your own.

This sentiment is especially brought home when you take into consideration that Sam for most of these is not there , or is close by but never really at the forefront during these times.

First one that comes to mind is the "Ouroboros" episode last season.

In the picture above they're all wearing the same colors. Matching and looking looking like they're ready for a fucking family portrait. All in brown, with Jack directly in between them, in plaid and a jacket, looking like a perfect mix of Dean and Cas.

Again, the writers seem to have taken great lengths to separate Sam from this. By having him not on the couch with them, but rather standing up and with Rowena on the opposite side of the room.

Incidentally, and I'm possibly overreaching here. But here is the thing i found really interesting. Theyre wearing brown. And as most of us know, colors are used to represent a thing or an emotion that cant be expressed or shown at the time for whatever reason. Yet, the writers want a certain thing to come across, they use colors. Most common ones that people know are red for anger and black for bad.

I looked up the color brown and this is what I found.

"Relating to the protection and support of the FAMILY UNIT, with a keen sense of duty and responsibility, brown takes its obligations seriously. It encourages a strong need for security and a sense of belonging, with family and friends being of utmost importance"

By having the three of them wearing brown and sat tgether. And now knowing what brown represents. I have no doubt this was the message the writers wanted to give.

Interesting to note that Sam is also wearing brown. However, where destiel and Jack are paired with browns and tans, Sam is wearing a much darker brown and its offset with a bunch of white. Making Sam family but not in quite the same way as the other three.

Later that same episode, we have destiel at a restaurant. They're joined by Jack. Take notice that there is still no Sam in sight, giving it the feel of a married couple taking the kid out to dinner.

In season 14 episode 15 "peace of mind"

Sam is the older kid throwing a fit to go to the mall. But dad (dean) is tired and is like "I just got off work"

This almost feels a married couple the wife is digusted by her husbands eating habit.

So it almost feels like it's mom saying "okay I'll take him to the mall and you stay here and have "the talk" with Jack. Cas is the mom who is like "it's time you talk to jack" and dean is the dad who is like "whys it gotta be me?" And cas is "because you're one he listens to and you know what hes going through" IE dean having no soul. So it's kinda like "because you're a man and you understand" something a wife might say to her husband when the time comes to discuss puberty and sex with their child.

And it totally fits in with 50s vibe of the episode. All American family..... moody older kid.... prepubescent son, a tired dad, and mom who is just done with everyones shit.

Before we begin, I have to point out something. Years ago my friend came across this quote and reblogged it. To this day, it still resonates with me. I dont remember the original source. If someone can link me or tell me...I shall give proper credit. But just know, the quote is not mine. I just love it.

To me this is absolutely something Dean would say to Cas. So I made a thing. I hope you like it 🙂

I was rewatching season 14. They're talking about Kia's spear and how Michael must have wanted it because he was afraid of it. I started thinking, what if he wanted it for more than just because he was scared of it? Sure, he was injured by it, so he had a healthy respect for it. But to actually kill an ArchAngel, let alone the most powerful ArchAngel in any universe, it would take a lot of stealth and skill. More than most people have. So he probably wasn't too worried in that aspect.

My opinion is that Michael wasnt creating hybrids to be his lackies or to end the world. He was creating an army to stop Chuck. He even states his distaste for Chuck. What if he wanted it because it could kill Chuck?

However, I remembered that Kia's spear was broken. So i started thinking of what other spear like things or weapons I've seen throughout the show that could fit. Then I realized!! Billies Scythe!!

We rarely see it with her. But we sure as heck did last episode. And chuck specifically mentions his hate of Billie AND her scythe.

I looked up Billie and her Scythe. And this is what I found.

It's a completely new scythe. New and improved? Billie knows how everyone dies. What is to say she doesnt know Chucks ending. And just like you can't really kill death....you can only kill the thing death has embodied. That must be what they mean by "attributes"

For me, I'm hoping that the scene in Ouroboros where Jack decapitated the demon, is a foreshadowing of what happens to Chuck. That Jack beheads Chuck with the scythe.

A Hard Look in the Mirror

These aren’t in chronological order but I’m tossing them out as they come to me. I’m told other posts have been made, but haven’t seen them, so my apologies for the duplicate scenarios(and by all means send me links to these posts, as I’m dying to read others thoughts as well). This is interpretation, not an attempt to draw fire.

While Chuck does parallel a particular group most of the time, I’d like to point out as a Destiel shipper myself, my side of fandom has members who’ve exercised atrocious judgement and behaved badly as well. This side is not immune and it would be very fair to see shots fired on it, should we be blessed with such direct, multi layered storytelling again next season when Chuck is in-episode. I’m in no mood for a crucifixion, but always welcome correction, respectful debate, and those offering additions.

We know Chuck was the show’s first author insert, a way to connect with fans. None of this is news. But in the finale, not only did Chuck serve as an insert, he also peeled back another layer, revealing himself to be Becky on steroids. Becky represented the toxic, hateful people of this fandom.

Sam asks him about the other worlds he’s made. He says there’s one in reverse, one without yellow, and one with just squirrels. I started thinking about this, such an odd combination of random descriptions. But knowing he’s representing basically the Bronlies, it all made sense.

One world in reverse-rewinding back in time. One world without yellow-yellow is Cas the sun. One world with just squirrels-all Dean, as he explains to “Moose” and has already declared the Winchester Bros his favorite show. He also told Cas he didn’t come to save Jack, but to kill him.

Who has loudly and continually fussed the show should go back to what it was like pre Cas, with only the bros hunting monsters? The Bibros/Bronlies. Chuck via description of his other worlds, told the audience he is a fan of those times. When the bros didn’t have the extended family in their lives they have now. They didn’t have the “screw-up” angel, or much of anyone else.

Dean asked him right away where he’s been. The question is repeated throughout the episode, Chuck is able to evade with vague answers - until Sam, after hearing about those worlds, begins piecing a few things together.

Sam: “Have you been watching us, even when you’re not here?”

Chuck: “Yeah, you’re my favorite show.”

Sam: “Why is it always on US (to save the world)?”

Chuck: “Cause you’re my guys.”

This is important dialogue once you realize that Chuck is not only God, the showrunner insert, but now an even more toxic, hateful Becky. If we examine this conversation in a different way, filter it as Jared coming through via Sam.

Sam: “Have you been watching us, even when you aren’t here?/ Are you the ones who have been writing hateful things about Jensen and I, lies about us? Even when you’re not here?/From behind a computer screen far away where it’s easy to write things you can’t be found and accounted for?”

Chuck: “Yeah, you’re my favorite show/ Yeah, we’re your biggest fans.”

Sam: “Why is it always on US to save the world?/Why do you always pick on and bully US, don’t you realize it hurts?”

Chuck: “Cause you’re my guys/Cause you’re our guys. We love you, we want you to ourselves and our interpretations to be correct and in real life.“

By this time Sam knows Dean is walking into a trap, they’ve been fodder for God’s entertainment their entire lives (in fandom since the pilot 1x1 aired).

But let’s go back a ways to Jack and when he cast the truth spell. There is far more finger pointing occurring before Sam figures out what’s going on.

In the Mirror building, when Dean and Sam figure out Jack has cast a truth spell, and they see things begin falling apart in that room with all the coworkers, they retreat to that single room.

The Chaos room was fandom, forced out from behind the anonymity of their computer screens, speaking their truths to each other and all hell breaking loose.

The Yogurt dudes were Stan’s vs TFW positive (1 vs 3). The Stapler Queen was the docile shipper just trying to avoid conflict and wants to clutch her favs close, keeping them safe from the raging wars around her. Destiel was the primary ship based on the red and blue staplers, but other colors represented other ships so she can easily be considered representative of chill shippers in general. The fact she was so adorable and gosh darn likeable, no matter which colors she was holding, is acknowledgment from Dabb that some nice, peaceful shippers exist and I want to hug Dabb for it. Bless. Girl on floor who just wants to be loved-those who miss Crowley.

One guy was cheating on his wife, the other knows and is okay with it, until it’s revealed it was filmed- those were fans who’ve made some “assumptions” about J2’s wives, some fans having gone so far as to violate the guys privacy by filming them in public places without their permission(aka-Jared’s drone story), fans strongly violating their privacy.

The news people on TV, in a bubble room with opaque glass, symbolic of J2 trying to keep their distance from the chaos but can still see what’s happening to a degree, are in red and blue. One is much older, a little quirky compared to the other, and suddenly confesses- “I love you, I always have.” It’s awkward as heck doing that in front of an audience of thousands of people, we’re left hanging as to her response.

As she calls the guy Jack, it reminds Dean of someone who’s caused him great pain, so he escapes HIS reality by avoiding it (turning off the TV and getting online). He goes to a blog he apparently visits regularly and while Jack, TFW’s ‘son’ has his own adorable face on the computer/intranet for search, Dean begins criticizing this “EightpackMomma” for the gluten free popover she’s posted. Then he switches to uncharacteristically criticizing posts of her children.

Sam turns to call him on such crappy anonymous hate behavior.

Dean realizes, “Yeah I should probably stop talking/ Yeah you douchebags who post on our social media accounts saying how ugly our kids are, or comparing them to each other should definitely stop talking.”

Sam immediately says, “Yeah.”

Meanwhile Cas, has just realized Chuck will not be bringing the kind of help he prayed for as he just called Jack a “problem.”  Many toxic fans come up with all kinds of reasons why every character who isn’t J2 is a “problem.”

So we notice Cas and Chuck enter the room. Dean and Cas don’t speak much before Chuck pulls the plug on the truth spell/truth influence. The Destiel fandom is now like “Dang it! Ya couldn’t have just let them TALK and work things out…which might lead to a love confession?!?? Nope. Because Chuck is not a fan. I draw con parallels to this scene for further illustration.

Many consider JibCon Cockles Christmas because it is the one time a year Creation cannot extend its reach across the pond, putting a stop to Cockles and J2M panels like they have for the last ten years in the U.S. So imagine a room of fans, Jensen and Misha talking, Jensen’s under the Truth Spell of Alcohol(but not excessively-except maybe once) with microphones(which like a spell, 'amplify’ their words so they’re heard) and “Chuck” pulls the plug. This can easily be applied to Creation cons in general as well.

The spell’s over. Dean right away is pissed off at the burden placed upon them by “Chuck” when he left with his sister and left the bros to clean up the mess and keep the world safe. Chuck evades the “where have you been” comment, because of course at this point Jensen is now channeling via Dean. Jared’s not the only one affected by the online haters. We know that Chuck is a writer, he sits writing crap behind a computer all day in his bathrobe, drinking stale coffee and alcohol, thinking up horrific plots to spice up the books he writes so they’ll hopefully sell. But he also happens to be a musician.

Last visit, he confessed to dating girls and guys, and he played the beautiful song “Fare thee Well.” Chuck decides to answer Dean in song, because it reminds us he uses more than one medium to express himself. How DUALISTIC of him, right? Because he also happens to be bisexual. And “Chuck” aka-haters, have insinuated/claimed all of kinds things about J2’s relationship with each other.

So what does Dean do when “Chuck” refuses to give a clear answer to where he’s been/haters of course being frustratingly out of reach for accountability of their venomous actions? Picks up that guitar and blatantly ignores Dean by just pretending he’s done nothing wrong. Jensen, channeling via Dean, smashes the damn thing to pieces in rage. He’s understandably pissed at having to deal with not only the crap about him and Jared-but the bullying and slander of Dani, Gen, and Vicki. Dean losing people he cares about/them being victimized by monsters, ones who wield influence and harm with venom and zero accountability.

Then they’re all zapped back to the bunker. Chuck knows Dean is angry over the loss of Mary. He knows Jack is unpredictable. He lies about being able to do anything himself(he’s not responsible for Jack’s choices and actions/ it’s not his fault).

“Chuck” could easily represent another showrunner at this point, one who tried manipulating certain people into thinking success for the “world/show” meant 'good storytelling’ aka- getting rid of the unique angel. But by killing said angel to save the “show” it only quickened the process of the show’s death until Misha was begged to come back. Gamble shot herself in the foot with that plasma gun maneuver.

The honorable mentions of the Leviathan and Men of Letters stories were great.

Cut to Cas, sitting with Jack. Who is confused about all this negativity in the world, he never meant to hurt anyone. Imagine Misha talking to West/Maison, trying to explain why people say and do hurtful things. They want to understand, but can’t. Misha says, you’re not able to understand, yet.

Cas wants to find a place to protect Jack, a safe place from all of this. Just as a real father would want to protect his children from the harshness of the world.

Dean is standing in the graveyard, holding this gun. “Chuck” has set Dean up beautifully. He aims, Jack pushes Cas away. Dean/Jensen takes aim, but is beginning to connect the dots. He’s been set up or “baited” into firing off an invisible force of harm which can be used and twisted against Misha/Cas and also Jensen himself.

Most of the time it’s meant to prompt Jensen into making a joke or comment certain toxic fans will twist and claim it’s how Jensen and Jared really feel, even though J2 are simply taking a light hearted dig at someone they love. Sometimes the baiting gets more aggressive and at one point(side eyeing JaxCon 2017) Jensen fired off the “Destiel doesn’t exist” comment in the Bibros/Bronlie’s attempt at negating the entire Dean/Cas relationship(friendship and/or otherwise). Jensen didn’t realize it for a while, but now he does. Dean also knows by firing on Jack he will devastate Cas, in addition to dying himself. And this is when Dean/Jensen is DONE. He’ll make jokes if he wants, he’ll say what he wants. So will Jared, because they don’t give a damn about people who refuse to believe Misha isn’t one of their bestest friends in the entire world.

He tosses the gun on the ground, “Chuck” urges him to pick it up and keep going, but by now he’s got “Chuck's” number. Dean says “Enough is enough! This isn’t some story. THIS IS OUR LIVES.” Basically telling “Chuck” to shove off, they’re sick of it. Chuck throws a fit and even taunts him with Mary, but Dean is having none of it.

Sam grabs the gun and wings Chuck. Good for him. Because Jared has dealt with this shit for years. He knows the majority of toxic people in this fandom are ones who claim they adore him. Yet they blast him, his wife, and his children he loves without mercy. He doesn’t care if he takes a hit back.

Now that “Chuck” realizes his characters/objects of haters obsession have become aware-aka-J2 are on to their bullshit, he knows the game is up. While Chuck, aka God, snaps his fingers and leaves them to darkness, undoing everything they killed and sent to hell, the haters cowardly slink back behind their computers deciding if it’s worth continuing or not, and to some sadly, it is.

But while “Chuck” has screamed for so long he wants the Winchesters, without Cas, to go back to seasons 1-3 where it’s them, the monsters, and their victims, their greatest wish has been indeed granted by Dabb.

But Dabb, being who he is, delivered that wish, and “chained a comet” to it, Aka-Cas/Misha. And now they have all they want, but with a firm statement from the show, backed by J2 that they can forever:

GET ON BOARD OR WALK AWAY.

Dabb has pointed the show’s pen at the real villain "Chuck,” the haters. He has been identified, his agenda laid out in the open, and he’s the Big Bad.

Meanwhile Billie, who’s strong enough to reap God, seems to be backing TFW 2.0. I hope she is.

Dabb’s making a statement this show is getting back to its roots. Not because it’s what the haters wanted, but because it’s the best place to take the story on its final stretch. The writers will bring the brothers back to the beginning and do so with the family it loves and all the kinds of love within this found family, are accepted and matter.

This is in no way a declaration of intent to make Destiel canon. That will remain in the gray area until it either happens or doesn’t. But it is a declaration that Cas matters. A lot. He is valued. He is loved. And whatever end the Winchesters meet(hopefully a happy one), Cas will be right there with them.

Change of priorities

Destiel current break up state and Jack in the middle

Ok I know I repeated a lot of times this things but I just needed you to pay attention to some clues I collected from the finale episode from season 14…

I predicted the Destiel break up and the lovers separation bc the promise Cas made to Kelly, JACK…

Let’s just put the things in order here…

Season 4 to 12 Castiel priority, faith, hope, only love, devotion, loyalty to DEAN.

Season 12, episode 19 the future…

Jack showed Cas the future, and the Paradise on Earth… Castiel believed it and made of Jack his mission and faith an hope CHANGE OF PRIORITIES. JACK IS NOW THE CENTER OF CAS ATTENTION.

The relationship between Jack and Castiel didn’t improved as we expected in season 13 because the Parenthood role was on Sam.

But we had Dean yelling at Sam saying he manipulated him showing him a lie and that got him dead.

But… But… This season… That changed…

Season 14 showed us a devoted Dadstiel, he even prepared soup for his kid, like… Awwwww

Then Dean came back and CAS went out on a hunt trip with Jack and in 14x04 we had a depressed post-possession Dean not wanting to come out from his room bc CAS wasn’t there, literally he gave three excuses and this was one of them. Castiel was everywhere in that episode and he missed him. He even began to recall those queer couples he had compared himself with Castiel in their first hunting date (5x03).

14x06: Lovers Separation spec with Dean talking about love (Dean’s POV) and foreshadow of the chosen love over his toxic past (chosen family/Castiel over John in episode 14x13). The song from that episode lyric was a foreshadow of Castiel chosing Jack (the promise to Kelly) over Dean “You love me but in your heart there’s something before me.”

14x08: Castiel’s deal with the Empty BC HE LOVES JACK.

14x11: Foreshadow of Destiel break up with two women Dean mirror (Mary and Donna).

14x15: Castiel’s POV with LOVERS SEPARATION again because A PROMISE.

14x17: Jack killed Mary by accident.

14x18: “You are dead to me” quote from Dean to Castiel. First huge fight bc Jack.

14x19: Dean and Sam locked Jack on the Mal'ak box. Second big fight between Dean and Castiel for that.

14x20: Dean and Cas fought twice bc of Jack… And interesting clues about what was going on in Dean’s head right now… we have this…

Gif credit @agusvedder

Look how he get near Castiel defying him to contradict him. They look at each other with anger and hurted.

Gif credit @agusvedder

Now the camera is focusing on Sam straggling with the whole tension there, with a sad fave. He doesn’t like to see Cas and his brother fight, and he is suffering too the whole Jack situation.

Then Castiel pushed Dean with his shoulder, in an obvious way to show him how mad he is. He even squeezes his teeth. And then Dean stays there not turning around… That hurts for him… Castiel still being loyal to Jack after what he did. It hurts seeing Castiel pushing him that way and not being with him this time in this battle. Castiel choose Jack and that hurts to Dean.

Then this happened…

Gif set credit @agusvedder

The man in blue (Castiel mirror) confessing his secret love to that wan in red (Dean) but his name is Jack… And Dean face here is… Yeah… Jack. Ok. You said you love me but now is only Jack for you. And he turn off the TV, one: bc it was a love confession and he isn’t ready yet for that. And two, bc it reminds him Castiel’s love confession when Jack wasn’t there… And now things are different.

And this hilarious one of here…

Gif set credit @agusvedder

I laughed at this but I swear I said to myself this means something where is the meaning here… And then OFC!! Is like he was talking to Castiel, you know??? SO, YOUR SON DOESN’T LOOK THAT CUTE NOW THAT HE HAS NOT SOUL, ISN’T?

Definitely there’s a tiny of jealousy and sadness and melancholy in Dean’s behavior… Remember when I wrote a meta about how Dean was recalling Castiel with Melancholy??? If you didn’t read it, is here: LET’S COME BACK TO THE DAY WE MET. DESTIEL FIRST ENCOUNTER MELANCHOLY.

The second fight, was this one..

Gif set credit @agusvedder

And he walked away… And Dean stayed quiet but hurted. Because Castiel choose Jack again.

Look at the pause Dean made before saying OR WALK AWAY. He didn’t want to say that. He is the first that wants him there. By his side. He is the first that suffers each time Castiel disappear of the bunker. Not… He doesn’t want to say those words… But he pushed Cas to make a decision again between him and Jack. And he loses again.

To conclude:

I readed this in the last episode and made me traveled for the whole Jack plot… And the conclusion is… Dean EVIDENTLY LOVES JACK AS A SON. Because it shows. BUT HE KNOWS SOMETHING CHANGED BETWEEN HIM AND CASTIEL SINCE THE KID IS THERE. Castiel changed his priorities. Dean was first for him since he raised him from PERDITION. DEAN AND SAM WERE CASTIEL’S MISIOM. Dean was Castiel’s faith and hopes. Dean was like everything for him. He did everything for Dean. But now, he has Jack. His son. His faith. HIS PROMISE AND HIS NEW MISSION. Jack is first now. And Castiel chooses him now over Dean. Dean knows it… And that hurts.

Gah I’m sensing this last episode still has a lot to analyze… So be prepared. I see you in the next meta.

Spoilers for last nights episodes ahead. You've been warned.

I'm not going to lie, that episode was painful to watch. Watching our boys grieve over the loss of their mother was hard. Yes, i count Mary as Cas mother. Let's not discredit his grief. Obviously , while Mary went rogue during season 12 Cas took time to check on her, hunt with her. She and he got the chance to bond and she became a parent to him as well.

Im hoping that we might get some more flashback and we'll see Cas and her having a discussion about Dean, and Mary hinting she knows what's between them and is okay with it.

As much as Mary death was tough, watching what it did to Dean and Cas relationship was excruciating.

Dean said some hurtful things to Cas. He has yet to apologize. This had me upset. Until my friend Castielslostwings pointed out the possibility that they could be waiting for a moment when that apology means something and they can use it to further destiel along.

It got me thinking, and maybe I'm wrong but I can't for the life of me remember a moment when Dean apologized to Cas for his treatment of him. Or it was so quick and half assed, that it was it was negligent and skipped my radar.

It's always been swept under the rug. The problem with that is, while we may no longer see the mess under the rug, the mess is still there...accumulating. So maybe the apology will follow a declaration of love.

In the promo for the next episode we see AuBobby is back. At first I was confused. In the midst of all the angst and heartache I had forgotten that Mary and Bobby were a thing.

Then my thoughts went to "WHOA!! Hold up a damn minute!"

Bobby and Mary were heavily used throughout the season as mirrors for Dean and Cas.

Bobby and Mary break up. Much like Dean and Cas have

Bobby comes back most likely with thoughts of regrets about things of left unsaid and what might have been.

Now if we accept that Bobby and Mary are a couple and are mirrors to destiel then we can PLAUSIBLY accept that what happens to Mobby happens to destiel. We've already seen that become true with the break up of both pairings

The next thing that happens to Mobby is Mary death. Mary has been used to mirror Cas. We know that the empty will take Cas. This will be a metaphorical death.

I imagine Bobby will grieve Mary's loss much like dean will with Cas. Dean's will take place much later, but it will happen.

I think the loss of Mary will allow Bobby to see that she actually meant something to him and he'll be stuck with his should've could've would've

While I would love for destiel to establish a canon relationship like Mary and Bobby first as it falls within the parameters of my theory better since they were an established couple first.

I dont think its necessary for my theory to work either way.

They could immediately make destiel canon have Cas taken and then we see a grieving Dean. Or they could reunite destiel without acknowledging it make Cas happy just to have Dean back in his life, and chuck fixing things, have him taken by the empty then have dean grieve and left with his own should've could've would've much like Bobby.

Unlike Bobby though, Dean will get a second chance and he'll take it.

Because Thursday’s episode wasn’t heartbreaking enough (sarcasm obviously), I’m here to make it worse.

When Dean was trying to keep Sam awake, trying to get him to count with him, Sam was struggling to focus due to his injury. His eyes were glassy, he couldn’t control his breathing, it was all just really bad. I noticed something (after rewatching that scene like 3000 times). When Sam told Dean

You always put me first. Your whole life.

HE ACTUALLY SMILED.

I feel (and it’s now a headcanon I’ve accepted) that Sam was dying and he was experiencing that thing we say about “your whole life flashing before your eyes”. I believe he was seeing things, recalling memories from his life. Dean keeping him safe, protecting him, caring about him in every way, being not just a brother to him but also a mother a father.

You were the one who was always there for me. The only one. You practically raised me.” Sam said earlier this season (14.12)

So, Sam, not knowing whether he’d make it out of this alive, wanted to take these moments with him. Moments he felt warm inside, moments he felt loved by the one person who was always by his side and to whom he’s always been the number 1 priority.

I also firmly believe, Sammy wanted to add a “Thank you” before he closed his eyes but he lost consciousness before managing to do so.

And there we go again. This is the epic love story of Sam and Dean, reaffirmed once again as the heart and soul of Supernatural. Many things may have changed during the 14 years the show’s been on but 1 thing will never change, not in season 15 (the final season), not ever. These two boys love each other more than anything in the world and how beautiful is that …

WELL I’M FUCKING CRYING, THANK YOU @clairvoyantsam

He smiled because he was free. No more fighting, no pain or loss. No more watching the people you love die.

Amazing parallels lately.

Lets start with this. My friend mentioned something a while back to me that I totally agree with. They're going to do a reverse "I'm the one who gripped you tight and raised you from perdition"

Meaning that this time it is Dean who will rescue Cas.

Like she also said. Dean has never rescued Cas. Not when they went to purgatory, Cas just shows up out of the blue. And we later find out it was Naomi who got him out. Then Cas went to "the empty" Dean never got the chance to rescue him. Cas had annoyed an ancient and cosmic being so much it sent him back.

So when it comes to rescuing Cas, Dean, as my friend says, is always "a day late and a dollar short"

Now lets go to a parallel that I noticed.

So why did Dean end up going to hell in the first place?

Because he makes a deal in order to save a loved one.

Why will cas ultimately end up going to "the empty"?

Because he makes a deal in order to save a loved one.

Both have made deals for the safety of the ones they love. They both will rescue each other.

Also interesting enough to point out. This deal thing is something that only dean and Cas share. It has been mentioned that Sam tried to make a deal with anyone and anything when dean first dies and no one barters.

This season has been fill with such beautiful symmetry and parallels. And amazing throwbacks to earlier seasons 😍😍

Special thanks to @castielslostwings for allowing me the use of her reverse "gripped you tight and raised you from perdition" if you haven't checked her out, you should. Shes amazing and a wonderful friend and writer.

Also another special thanks to @emblue-sparks who just completely friggin rocks. She is also an amazing person and writer as well.

You ladies are amazing and im glad to know you.

A while back, i was reading this fic in where dean and Sam do paper, rock, scissors for the bed. In this fic , losing the game meant sharing a bed with Cas while on a case. Somehow, I doubt Dean minded losing very much 😂😂

It got me thinking. Dean cant be that bad at PRS. Its statistically impossible to play the game that many years and loose so much.

And Dean despite what he thinks and is sometimes told, he is no dummy. He knows that Sam knows he picks scissors everytime. If he wanted to, he could change it up. I think he does this to make sure he is in the most dangerous positions rather than sammy or to put Sammy's comfort above his own. It is instilled him. A lifetime habit he cant break. "Watch out for Sammy".

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I believe that Dean only has won once in the show. I cant remember exactly what situation was but I do recall neither one was more at risk than the other.

I actually feel like Crowley was in love with dean. When Dean goes back to Cas and Sammy after no longer being a demon, he begins acting as though he just went through a break up.

We have it heavily implied that both of them engaged in intercourse with the triplets Cowley mentions. And it is also implied that those triplets were male, when a set of MALE triplets walk into the bar during this

Which incidently for me, puts Dean's bisexuality as canon. They flat out mentioned sex with the triplets. It's not a coincidence that they show male triplets during that. The writers intentionally did this. They meant to imply this.

Look at how many times he could have killed Dean, and he didnt. Look at how hurt he was when he found out dean lied to him about being on Cains list. How hurt he was when Dean left him. He knew of crowley affection and used it (although sparingly) to his advantage sometimes. But for Dean, it wasnt love on his part. I don't doubt there was some warmth for crowley, he may have begun to consider him a friend and not just an ally or another set of powers he needs when times got rough. But he was never "in love" with Crowley.

I would also like to mention that before Dean succumbed to the mark, Rowena was bitchin and pushing for Crowley to get rid Dean. To which Crowley refused. She viewed Dean as the source of Crowley humanity AKA his weakness. Which takes me back to Uriels line to Dean "he has this weakness he. He likes you".

Dean has this endearing habit of inspiring loyalty and bringing out the humanity in others. We can go so far as to say for them,Dean is the very representation of humanity. He IS humanity. Taking me back to metatrons "hes in love with humanity"

So while though admittedly, a bit of stretch, but If those lines were used to indicate Cas feelings for Dean. why not for Crowley? He has inspired the very same changes and feelings in Crowley that we all acknowledge he has in Cas. Again I know those lines were for us to understand Cas' love for our green eyed hunter. However, we do have to at least acknowledge that the changes and emotions that metatron and uriel have noticed in Cas can be found in Crowley as well. All of those changes and emotions brought about because of one man...Dean.

Also let me point out the fact that when Rowena couldnt succeed in convincing Crowley to kill Dean. She tries to do it herself. She views Dean as the reasons for crowleys trouble. Not Cas who aids Dean in thwarting Crowley. Not Sammy, who technically started this whole thing when he used his blood and it began to "humanize" Crowley, but Dean. Angels and demons, these are beings who are not known to have emotions or be easily changed. So before anyone goes spouting how those lines are sacred to destiel. Yes, I know, I'm just using it to parallel. Destiel is and will always be my OTP. I will never pair Dean and Cas with anyone but each other. But I just wanted to reiterate those lines fit Crowley and how demons have also noticed he has changed.

Lets go back to Rowena. We have a case mother knows best. A mother knows her child. She didn't make it as long as she has my being stupid and unobservant. She knew that getting rid of Dean would bring back the old, unfeeling Crowley. When she couldn't kill Dean, she faked that she was brutally beaten up by him. Hoping a sons love for his mother would overcome any feelings he has for Dean. And as we know, it did not.

Let's talk about Crowleys actions when it comes to Dean.

Sam was possessed.... he didnt care about Sam. He did that because dean needed him to

Same when Cas was possessed by Lucifer. He doesnt care for cas in the least. He went into Cas mind to get him to expell Lucifer and in the process, takes a pretty decent beating from him. Again, he did that because Dean needed him to. Knowing full well Lucifer is more than capable of killing him.

Amara: he could have died during that but yet he did it. Why? Because Dean needed him to.

We have when Cas gets hurt by the spear. He had nothing to gain by letting Cas live. But he knows how in love dean is with Cas. He's made jokes about it. He knows how much it would hurt Dean to lose Cas. If you love someone you're going to do anything in your power to save them any kind of pain if you can. Even at your expense. So he broke the spear. The old adage “If you love something set it free. If it comes back it’s yours. If not, it was never meant to be.”

I think when he saw Deans reaction to Cas being injured by the spear, and heard Cas confession of love...he knew he didnt hava a chance. So he chose Dean's happiness above his own.

I actually think he really didnt fall in love with Dean until Sammy injected Crowley with blood, making him more human like. Which is kind of the same with Cas. It was Cas being more human that made him realize he was in love with Dean. So I'm really digging the parallel of both being more human like and falling for Dean.

He died saving Dean. You could say to save Dean AND Sam. But who was getting the ever loving shit beat out of them? Dean!! Dean was being beaten and the only thing that could stop Lucifer was a spell that requires a sacrifice. Crowley literally sacrificed himself for love.
