Simple Plan’s  “ I wanna start this over again” from Untitled hit so much today than ever before. It’s 11:00 freaking AM, and I’m crying on this song. Damn this adulting. Damn this confusion. Damn my life. In about 3 months from now, I’ll be 26 and I still haven’t figure out what to do with my life. Dammmn... it’s depressing.

Still Memories: 30 Days of June

Honestly, what’s happening right now feels surreal; never in my mind did I imagine I would be experiencing a pandemic. Life can really throw you into unexpected situations and you just have to wing it.

Like Bhobbie who’s waiting for my mother to come back to the car, I’m patiently waiting for the time that all will be well and we will survive this crisis. But as I wait, I need to do something to keep myself busy and to continue living despite all.

I want to be outside without being wary of acquiring a virus.

I want to be free to appreciate the sky in all its gloriousness.

Somehow, I miss the stress brought by commuting.

It’s funny but I miss my boring work routine.

I may have been given the opportunity to the things I put on-hold before, but with the uncertainty of tomorrow, I can’t seem to start anything. It’s really frustrating.

Most of the times, I just lay down in my bed and stare at the ceiling, imagining it to be the skies I see on my way to work.

It became foreign what the sun’s heat feels like on my skin.

But I’m trying to make a new routine. A new normal. To survive. And to keep living.

Update: i just want to run away. Far from everything. After a month of being at home, the feeling of going back to work make me want to run away. I dont know

I don’t want to say this but I really need to get this out. It’s starting to get depressing these days.. Di ko alam anong dapat gawin. I should be working from home but I’m procrastinating (Sorry boss). And as days goes by, I keep wondering until when will this be.. Honestly, I was tired of ranting about how the gov’t is doing because it’s becoming exhausting and stressful so I just end up focusing on the small victories we have. I am starting to accept (tho baby steps nga lang into full acceptance) that when the time comes the quarantine got lifted, we will have a new normal. And we will adapt to it eventually because that’s what life is, always changing, and we humans will just have to adapt to it.

I hope you are fine. Practice proper hygiene. If you can, help even how small it is because with it, not only will you be able to help others but also give hope to them that everything will be pkay, someday. We all need little sunshines in this year. Hugs to everyone. :)

Yes, anon. May effective na yata ganon (out of the many developments going on). Pero sa May pa lang yata siya magiging available dine sa pilipinas. Sana talaga.

And yung virgin coconut oil, helpful din ang sabi. Two days lang, gumaling na yung may covid.

The earliest vaccine for COVID is currently for early human testing (so-called Phase III testing). There is no timeline that will make it available in the Philippines by May.

As for VCO, clinical trials are currently being conducted by the DOST and the National University of Singapore. We do NOT want a repeat of the hydroxychloroquine debacle. There is no evidence yet that VCO is an effective antiviral agent in general, much less a specific treatment for COVID-19.

Currently practicing my hatching skill (digitally) in Procreate. I searched for some basic exercises/beginner's guide in digital art in youtube and I stumbled on this video. So yep.

I still have a long way to go but I think, this is a good start? Hehe. Sana magtuluy-tuloy, chos.

Apps I’m currently using more often:

  • Plurk - I don’t know if aware kayo how good this app is for all the rants that can’t be in Twitter. Been here since 2010-ish hehe.
  • Twitter on browser- uninstalled the app in a move to stay away from soc meds but I can’t resist Twitter because 1) news and latest chikas (hirap na FOMO ka haha) ; 2) another outlet for my endless rants. Though, I’m more active on my personal account so there’s that.
  • Tumblr- Yep. Reviving the blogging spirit. Baka magtranslate din sa Blogger pero that’s another story.
  • Spotify- music is life. Yep.
  • Snapchat- it’s more convenient than ig stories and the fonts here is better so yep. (you can add me guys!! snapchat id: zwiterelle hehe) and because i uninstalled ig hehe.
  • Youtube- daily vlogs of others and some tutorials esp I’m interested to use my Procreate app. Yeah. Also kpop mvs of my fave groups (RV! Twice! BTOB!!!!! Itzy)
  • Netflix- yes.. movies. And series esp kdrama!
  • Pinterest- moodboards and inspo for my dream room design and a general inspiration.

My wishes for my birthday were for us to be COVID19-free and a better governance. So for those who will be able to come across this post, I hope you will:

  • Stay safe. In as much stay at your home.
  • Proper hygiene please!!
  • Boost your immunity through vitamins, proper diet and sleep.
  • Donate if you can.
  • Speak up. But still choose your words properly and don’t spread fake news!
  • Be aware and be knowledgeable to the daily happenings in this country. Ignorance is bliss, they say but iba na ang may alam.
  • It would be better to spread awareness. Not chismis, but awareness specially to people who don’t have access to information.
  • Let’s help each other out. Please. Don’t be a crab esp during these times. Wag magsiraan! Lift each other’s spirit so we could overcome this crisis.
  • Pray. Always.

Hoping to really get my groove back into the reading game. It’s been so long since the last time I read and actually finish a book so hopefully this will be a success. Also I did join the Dalgona Coffee bandwagon and well, I will convince myself to write a post about it. You know, documentary puporse. Char
