As he stands there, staring, Eddie has three thoughts. The first is that everything is so, so pink. The second is that he doesn’t care how stereotypically pink everything is. The third thought, the one that makes his heart accelerate in his chest, is that everything is so tiny.
His throat feels thick and his eyes sting as he stares at the onesies and imagines holding their daughter in one for the first time.
