i definitely get why buldak loyalists say they dislike chapagetti because it's "bland" and "tastes like nothing" especially if they're used to the jjajang buldak flavour, but like as someone who would willingly cry through a pack of 2X spicy buldak and still not waste a single drop of sauce, i Love the subtle and earthy flavour of chapagetti!!!! mild doesn't necessarily mean flavourless smh people just have a sad palate :( u put green onions when stir frying and egg on top and it's such a pleasant meal!!!!

Game Update - 5/7/24
Features include:

- An entire recoding of Chapter 4! including a new chapter title (2 of them, technically, as it’s different depending on the route you chose at the end of Chapter 3)
- Some actual communication between characters about what’s going on!

A reminder that previous saves made in Chapter 4 will be broken! You will need to load a save from Chapter 3 or earlier to play, or start a new game!
There isn’t a lot of new content this time, as most of the work for it was on the back end and overcoming behind-the-scenes obstacles, but I’m so happy to finally have an update for you all! I say “thank you for your patience” a lot, I know, but I really can’t say it enough. Your continued love and support is what kept me going while I battled the various demons that kept getting in my way. Next update should be a lot bigger, and include some conversations you’ve all been waiting for!
(On the last page, if Gavin mentions someone other than your chosen RO, let me know! I’m still trying to iron out the code on that one… so far I’ve only seen issues on no-romance runs thinking you’re romancing Li, and I think I’ve fixed that, but if I haven’t/something else comes up wrong, please tell me)

Vethna: I think this depends on MC's personality. If MC is genuine, they'd really want to look, and they'd probably just pout a lot, but they wouldn't. If MC was stoic or aggressive, Vethna would take it a lot more seriously and just not look at all-- they'd probably assume it's something bad or dangerous. And if MC is sarcastic, they'll immediately open it the second MC even kinda turns away, fully expecting it to just be empty or something stupid.
Nikke: Would depend on MC's body language! If MC read as being super serious, he probably wouldn't open it and would smack other people's hands away who try to. Definitely spends the entire time wondering what the actual fuck is inside the box. If MC is just screwing with him, and he'll know if they are (trust me), then he'll be like "Oh, yeah for sure, mhm, whatever you say Captain," super sarcastically and then just immediately rip the top off.
Jost: "Okay." (Proceeds to do exactly as asked and hold it until MC comes back for it. If MC never does... oh well.)

Yniol relaxes by doing small, repetitive activities in private. Maybe making flower crowns, or polishing their armor, or mending their clothes. When Yniol needs to think and reflect, they find a couple of spots on the inner walls where they can see the city from above.
Yniol thrives with their routine, and so their comfort items are things they mostly either use everyday, such as their spear, or things that hold a great sentimental value. Some little notes/presents from the orphans (which they always keep), mostly.
Yniol wears simple clothes 99% of the time. They are born a commoner, and never became accustomed to the fashion in the castle. Their clothes are either practical, or very very simple, like a long coarse tunic in private.
Favourite color is blue (like the sky).

We know mages were expelled from plaithus but before they were were they allowed to serve in the army? Considering that plaithus is v military focused but simultaneously harbored a growing fear of mages I was just wondering what that looked like in practice :P also if they were what happened to the ones in the army when the mages were expelled? There were some mages + sorcerers who were allowed into the army, yes, but the only ones that were of any use magically are those who specialize in elemental magic. This is because A.) it's the most obviously offensive form of magic and B.) Any other form of magic that could be used "offensively" would be done so in a way that Plaithus frowned upon, even back then.
For example, Vethna can perform pretty much every form of Illusory and Pathomancy magic, but the method of using that in a way that's combative is morally questionable to Plaithus as it involves invading someone's literal mind to warp them into doing what you want (yes... we all see the irony and hypocrisy).
So only a small percentage of the mages + sorcerers were really in the military and using their magic. The rest who might join strictly could only use physical combat, but the problem with that is when one is in a life/death situation, they'll do anything to save their life, including using questionable magic. This did result in some very questionable things happening in war. Like magic-users being forced to use the blood of their fallen peers to strengthen their own magic to survive, which the media and military of Plaithus did not like.
