Raphael having the time of his life on a Mediterranean holiday. All of this was prompted by ONE quote from the game where Raphael says "adieu" to the player even though French/France does not exist in Faerun. So the only logical explanation is our little princeling would use Dimension Doors to go across universes of course!

I really don't mind ace astarion headcanons bc it DOES work with his character, after he's had time to figure out what his preferences are but I need yall headasses to stop saying he said he's ace.
What he ACTUALLY said is he doesn't know how to be with someone, no matter how much he'd like to be. WILDLY different than saying he's ace. He's got severe ptsd when it comes to sex and having sexual trauma does not equate to being ace automatically. At best thats incredibly belitting, and at worst its outright homophobic bc you're erasing someone's identity because they have trauma they haven't processed/healed from.
#this is def tmi for the internet but i have sm strong feelings about this man and this specifically#as someone who was a victim as a child and has def NOT been able to heal from it astarion means so much to me#bc a lot of ppl or at least what ive seen in media who went through what i went through are adversed to sex#or the opposite#and im in this weird middle where i want to be intimate SO FUCKING BAD#insanely bad#but when it even comes to fucking hand holding or a simple kiss i freak the fuck out#i feel sick to my stomach and SO fucking uncomfortable#and i couldn't even be simply intimate with my prev boyfriends#and i struggled with thoughts of maybe i am ace or on the spectrum but then at the same time i feel like im not#and i talked w my friend liz who is WAY more versed in the ideas of sexuality and everything more than me#and she pointed out that bc of what happened any act of intimacy for me makes me uncomfortable#and i would just need to find someone who makes me feel safe and comfortable so i can be intimate with them#and i love astarion so much bc i feel like he's been the only representation of someone who has been sa'd and feels like how i do#where he can joke about sex and being horny etc and wanting intimacy#but then ultimately struggles about it#and needs someone who makes him feel comfortable and safe before he can engage in intimacy#and idk#this is a ramble but how his character is means a lot to me as someone who is bi but struggles with intimacy
