“They ain’t got a clue to what they’re missing.” He grinned, taking a grasp of the rakk ale that had just been placed in front of him. “Besides who could resist a chance at seeing you drunk girl.”

“Really now?” She asked, arching her brow rather flirtily before his last statement registered. “Hey!” She smacked his arm, glaring at him as she took another sip of her rakk ale. “I’ll have you know, I’m holding my liquor much better anymore.” And another sip, deliberately larger than the last.

His eyebrows furrow together with such intensity his forehead wrinkles. Timothy couldn’t help but fidget, as it took his mind off his problem. “Lilith, I… s-sorry, I can’t do this.” If he ever did that sort of thing with her, especially knowing she was inexperienced, he’d want it to be… yanno. Better than a romp just to make himself feel better. Tim wanted it to be a mutual understanding. “If you, uh, if you have a pack of ice though, I’d – I’d like that. That would help.”

As noble as his intentions were, it just angered her. “What, am I not good enough for you?” She demanded, brow furrowing. Weren’t guys supposed to jump at the opportunity to sleep with a beautiful woman? Of course, there was the chance that Tim didn’t think she was. That didn’t help quell her anger in the least. “Fine, a fucking ice pack for you.” She turned on her heel, practically stomping out of the room.

The former doppelganger looked over at her with some concern, wondering what that meant. Dark, dank bandit dungeon? Execution? God, he hoped not. Otherwise he wouldn’t be going as willingly as he was now. He supposed he was going to be put on trial much as Athena had – he had heard about it, heard Lilith put her down range of her firing squad, made her explain the entire Elpis story… and then subsequently ordered her execution. It failed only because the Watcher stopped her, but what if the Watcher didn’t deem Timothy worthy enough to save…? “I’m done, I’m done, let’s just… get this over with, I guess.”

Lilith reached into her pocket, metabolizing a small hunk of Eridium, just enough to get the pair of them back to Sanctuary. “Hang onto your shorts.” She quipped, grabbing his shoulder before starting a phase walk that teleported them back to the Raider’s headquarters. “If you’re going to barf, at least grab a trashcan.”

“I’ve got a lot of quote unquote ‘shit.’” He added air quotations to that as he dug out a backpack to put things in. A picture frame, some pill bottles, a couple of necessities like a toothbrush and a comb, a worn kitten motivational poster, and some of the rare food he had left was stowed away inside of it, which he then shouldered. “That happens to be the only good thing Hyperion’s ever made: The Conference Call. Burning damage.”

She arched a brow as she watched him. A kitten motivational poster? Well, that wasn’t something she expected. “I can respect someone that prefers fire damage.” She mumbled, leaning out the door to fire on a spider ant that had been scampering up to the building. Not a bad range, even for a shotgun. “You about done? I still need to figure out where the hell to stick you when we get back to Sanctuary.”

Now he’s just speechless, staring at her with a dazed but slightly dreamy expression. Don’t let go, Lilith, he’ll melt straight into the floor if you do.

Lilith just gently pressed her hands on either side of his face, trying to keep him from floating away. “You okay there, big shot?” Tim was absolutely killing her, and partially feeding her ego, with his reactions.

Though the psycho may be known to many as the screamer of disturbing threats and phrases, much of his time is spent in silence. The voices in that scrambled mind of his speak enough without his own voice adding to the muddle. Most of his speaking is done in boredom, or in the heat of battle, so as he stands across the room from the highly dangerous siren, he keeps quiet. There’s nothing boring about Lilith. Roland had been a fan of tactical approaches, with a military-style demeanour. From what Krieg has gathered so far about Lilith, she’s a fiery sort of woman… and having been brought into this strange vault-hunter lifestyle by Maya, it’s probably no secret that he has a soft-spot for sirens.

He can’t really answer her, though part of him – a very specific voice in that constant buzzing and overlapping of words trickling around through his brain – wishes that he could give her a solid and satisfactory response. Instead, he shakes his fist in the air.

“SOMEBODY OPEN ME UP, PUT OUT THE FIRE IN MY BELLY!”

Ah, well. Close enough.

Lilith stayed silent for a moment before arching a brow at him. “That probably made sense somehow that I’m not understanding.” She replied with a groan, running a hand through her hair as she stood upright. “Can I help you with something, big guy?” She stretched, groaning as her back cracked several times. Maybe she’d been hunched over for too long. “You know what, try to tell me about it on the way, I’m going to Moxxi’s to get something to eat.”

“O-oh.” Timothy answered quite lamely, his fingers drumming nervously on the outside of the door. What else could he say when he had an obviously angry Siren standing at his door, tapping her foot impatiently, looking ready to kill him. He bit his lip, heart racing erratically. “Sanctuary? Yeah uh… can I… can I grab some things first? Yanno, just some stuff I don’t wanna leave here for bandits to scavenge.” He leaned his shotgun carefully against the wall before opening the door to let her in. “It’ll only take a sec, if you wanna come in…??”

Lilith crossed her arms as she barely stepped in and leaned against the doorframe. “Just hurry it up.” She replied, watching him closely. After a moment she picked up his shotgun, lazily checking it out and keeping it out of his hands. “And you’re carrying Hyperion bullshit.” She stated, rolling her eyes as she checked the sight on the gun. “Should have known.” It was a nice gun, she couldn’t deny that.

Plenty of p-people in Overlook wouldn’t mind having a new place to c-call home.

There was a small sigh.

[[ECHO]]

I’d like that - really, I would.  S-Skull shivers aren’t my only problem, though.  It’d…probably take some real work and serious money to g-get me up and Vault Hunting again.

{{ECHOMessage}} Then they’ll be the first we’ll try to get new homes for. We’ve got plans on Opportunity, actually. There are some really nice apartments that would need filling out.            That wouldn’t be a problem. There are people here willing to help out, even if it’s just bringing weapons your way that can’t be used here.

Krieg craned his head up from ground level in front of the Raiders HQ, his amber eye catching the sun–Lilith was on the balcony, and the pretty fire lady needed help with something. This meant that he had to be on the balcony. The quickest way to the balcony was–

–and then he was climbing the stack of crates next to the entrance, jumping to grab the edge of the ledge and haul himself up.

     I hate you.

“Scream for the flying meat,” he growled, hopping over the ledge, steel-toed boots landing with a heavy thump as he turned to look at the Siren with a twitch in his hands. “Where should we perch?”

Lilith grinned as he jumped his way up to the balcony instead of actually heading inside. He was never predictable, and that lead to some really hilarious hijinks. “Right over here. I can’t reach the hooks to hang the new sign.” She explained, dragging the heavy canvas over to him. “You mind getting it for me?”
