We need a Fate route with Proto-Arthur in Alter form becoming Kirei’s loyal killing machine

“Don’t worry darling…When that day comes, and I look forward to it…He’ll be thrown into a cell along with her. He’s even more guilty than her, after all. In this form, no divine is a match for me.” She reassured him, giving him a kiss on the cheek. “It’s for the good of everyone, my knight…I’m sure you understand. We can’t let those childish beasts run rampant.”

“Caaareful, now,” Arthur moves a hand to teasingly ruffle her silvered hair for a bit, “talking like that, you’re starting to sound like a god, yourself. Do remember we both are Servants here, love.”

It seems Arachne would need a bit of help reigning herself in moving forward... Arthur wanted her to be happy, but he also didn’t want to lose that pure, loving girl he’d sworn himself to, either.

“At any rate, I’m going to trust you to use your better judgement hereon.” Arthur leans in close, planting the briefest kiss on her lips. “I hope you understand how important that is to me...”

"I wish i could remove my mask to you great knight, but i can't."

“Mm. I’ve afraid we’ve naught to discuss, then.” Because Mun doesn’t RP via asks. “Peace be with you.”

“That’s…A bit late unfortunately, my dear. To do this, I stole Athena’s power in order to override her curse. And I may have also set up a bit of a prison to punish her for her crimes…” She admitted. That was, in fact, the very first thing she’d thought of. “Really, they were just a bunch of violent criminals parading around the title of divines, I think it’s a service to everyone to lock them up.”

“Oh, my lady...” Arthur gives a small sigh, with an undeniable hint of disappointment. This would have ramifications greater than she knew. He wasn’t particularly looking forward to potentially having to cross blades with the likes of Zeus when --when-- he would seek retribution, but... “Right. It’s not as though I’ll permit you to be harmed.”

He holds her a bit closer, exhaling through his mouth some.

“Well... In my travels, I’ve met one who at the very least wouldn’t mind Hera’s incarceration. If I have to, I think I could secure him as an ally.”

"You're so beautiful. the best blonde knight."

“Well-- thank you, but,” A bit of a cough, “were you to remove your mask, this might not be quite so...awkward?”

“I know, it’s great~. I was really ecstatic when I finally did it~.” She hugged him tightly, smiling brightly up at him. He was concerned about her still, as she’d expect from him. He always was such a kind gentleman.

“I wouldn’t say I’m hurt or anything…But I guess I just know a lot more than I used to now. I attained this change by being fused with a creature called Atlach Nacha…It doesn’t seem to be very sentient itself, but I gained a lot of power and knowledge from doing this, including the power to drain divinity. Though I wouldn’t say no to still being protected by my darling knight as usual~…”

“Oh, I’m afraid you’d not escape my care even if you asked for it!” Upon being embraced by Arachne, Arthur swooped down, scooping up her legs into a princess carry, twirling about with her a few times before planting a small kiss on her cheek. “So long as this being you’ve assimilated hasn’t done you any harm, I’ve no objections.”

...Hold on, wait a tic.  “Drain divinity”, she said...?

Image

“...Arachne...” Arthur gives a bit of a warning tone, face turning to a semi-serious frown. “Don’t even think about it. I’m sure this seems a golden opportunity, but don’t go seeking vengeance on the Pantheon, much as they may deserve it.”

He gives her a little boop on the nose.

“Alright?”

“….Not quite the reaction I was hoping for.” She sighed, shaking her head before explaining.

“I am Arachne, not someone imitating her. I’ve just changed class: From Assassin to Foreigner. Using my new power, I was able to dispel the curse on myself and restore my original human body, so I was pretty eager to show you~.”

Arthur is stricken silent for some moments, looking over the one before him searchingly-- until his eyes settle on her own, the familiar rubies restoring that bridge of understanding.

“...Arachne... You’ve broken your curse, then...?” A brief, incredulous laughter escapes Arthur as he, hesitantly as though afraid to do harm, rests his hands upon her arms. “I-- I can’t believe you managed to have your wish without bloodying your hands; fantastic!

Gently patting over her body, Arthur sets about a brief inspection.

“Are you unwell, anywhere? Has the change-- harmed you, any?”

"So, who is the true king? You or Arturia?"

“Ordinarily, two instances of the same individual cannot be summoned... But, you’ll notice,” Arthur gives a brief flourish of the blue cape at his back, “I bear the same cape as my fellow Knights of the Round, and not the regal mantle of the king?”

Image

A hand over his chest, Arthur bows his head.

“I am made manifest not as King Arthur of Britain-- but in this world, I am Arthur Pendragon, Knight of the Round Table.”

“Oh? Do you need any help with cooking, dear~?” And Arachne casually approaches in her new form.

A warm smile comes over Arthur’s face at the familiar voice.

“--You’ve the better sense for craft than me, my lady.” Without turning, he reaches back some. “Though, your company is...”

Pause.

“...Plenty...aid...” He waves his arm around searchingly, “enough...?”

Odd. There should be a large spider-y body where his arm is currently waving about.

image

...The devil--?” He jolts around, finding himself facing a woman a fair sight shorter than himself. “Ma’am, I pray you understand, there are consequences for imitating a knight’s sworn lady...”
