honestly one of the best things we can do for ourselves is realize that people of different ages than us can still be the same kind of person as us. it's humbling and it gives everyone involved a sense of continuity, and it busts those stupid generational stereotypes media is so fond of.
A few years back, Spockslash, a 79 year old grandmother who was part of the first generation of slashfic writers, used to post here. She died of cancer and her son posted one last time to let us all know she had passed away and how much she had enjoyed being on Tumblr.
I have been here for nearly 10 years now and I was in my mid 40's then.
My youngest child got on Tumblr when they were 11.
No one knows how old you are on Tumblr unless you tell them and I think that is very cash money of Tumblr.

Worm Horse is obviously Fizzarolli: the missing limbs, blood everywhere, him being green like the fire that consumed Fizz.
Banana Pudding could very well be Blitz, the (red) guy who saves the day for Worm Horse. Even Ozzie said Blitz kept Fizz safe when he couldn't.

Sometimes it's hard to be a Charlastor shipper.
Say you ship Alastor with (insert character here) and no one bats an eye.
But say you ship Alastor with Charlie and society goes wild.
But that's part of why it's nice to see other people enjoying this ship.

Charlie would make the most sense as Alastor’s partner out of anyone tbh, because in case you all have forgotten he fucking despises Lucifer and Vox, and literally all men ever. I’m not saying you can’t ship him with them, let’s just not act like it’s completely out of line to ship him with Charlie🤷♀️
And to clarify, I’m also in no way saying people can’t have opinions (for some reason everyone likes to interpret my defense as me being like ‘wahhh you have to like charlastor cuz I like it grrr’ which…no???) But that doesn’t give anyone the right to send hate to charlastor shippers simply because you don’t like the pairing. It’s really not that hard to block the tags or simply scroll away and say nothing.
Anyway that’s why I love my charlastor mutuals so much. We know we have good taste and we stick together cuz of it😋🙏
In our defense, look at how much time the actual show devoted to charlastor's dynamic. All across the internet fans of the show who were new did NOT know chaggie was canon until episode 5. In an 8 episode season. Add to that the forced conflict that goes nowhere and does nothing with their characters followed by the big romantic duet that isn't even an original song it's just a reprise of the father/daughter song, PLUS the moments that should have gone to vaggie as Charlie's love interest/partner ALSO going to her dad. I'm sorry, what precisely about chaggie am I supposed to grab onto?
Like, I feel like people think if you like charlastor you hate the other ships. No, I knew charlastor wasn't ever going to be canon, I was prepared to if not like chaggie, at least be okay with it. But I'm not, not because it's a bad ship, but because the actual show doesn't seem to give a shit about it! If the show doesn't care about their relationship why should I? Especially when charlastor is scratching that itch for me?
The worst part is helluva boss shows us that Viv knows how to write a pre-established couple without making them boring. SHE CAN DO IT! So why she doesn't here is just baffling to me. I'm also gonna say there's a lot of biphobia in fandom and the straight passing ship gets a lot of flack even though charlastor being a couple in no way erases Charlie being bi or even Alastor being aroace.
At any rate, we have our niche, I have a server if people need it, viva La radiobelle!

making friends via fandom is inherently hilarious because in many ways it's like a regular friendship and sometimes you'll share stuff that's going on in your lives and offer support and talk about food or pets or random cultural stuff because you live on opposite sides of the damn planet, but also some of your interactions are like "hello beloved friend whom I cherish deeply, I have brought you a deceptively platonic gift of lovingly crafted star wars porn"
Some of my best friends started as fandom friends.
