Asa's Light - Masterpost

The LRA (Light Research Association) is an organization dedicated to the containment and study of individuals with LIT3 gene-related mutation(s) (commonly known as "Light"). Approximately 1 in 1,000,000,000 births are Light positive. Under federal law, all individuals with Light are to be fully surrendered to LRA care. Failure to do so can result in fines and/or incarceration.

If you or someone you know is aware of an individual with Light and turn them in willingly, you may be entitled to a monetary reward.

Magical Whump—specifically magical bondage—my most underrated beloved:

  • Whumper possessing the body or mind of Whumpee, forcing them to act/think a certain way
  • Physical entrapment through enchantments, spells, magic objects, or curses (my personal favorite being magicked jewelry—something pretty and delicate used as an unlikely form of bondage)
  • A mind-reading Whumper who sees Whumpee’s thoughts as something that belongs to them (bonus points if Whumpee goes a little mad from it)
  • Whumpee forced to overuse their own magic; nosebleeds, blackouts, even suffocation.
  • Whumper using the elements against a Whumpee with elemental magic (ex: locking a fire-wielder in a freezer, suffocating an air-wielder, etc.)
  • Whumpee used as an unwilling source for magic that requires a blood sacrifice
  • Whumpee’s own magic being siphoned out of them and into Whumper, who treats them like a bottomless well of power (they’re not)
  • Magical contracts! Unbreakable!! Signed in blood!!! What if Whumpee were forced to sign such a contract?

Cauterization.

Whumpee's been pinned down by caretaker. They're calm, knowing it's just a precaution, but as soon as the burning rod gets closer to their body, whumpee starts shouting "Wait! Wait, I need just a minute. Please give me a minute!"

Everyone's face twists with sadness, before the one holding the rods gently says "If I don't, you won't be alive in a minute."

This child in gaza is screaming:

"I wish it was a dream. Oh, mom and dad. I wish it was a dream and my mom and dad are still alive" after being rescued from underneath the rubble to find his parents killed by Israel.

Whumpee being manhandled into restraints:

  • Shoved up against a wall and handcuffed.
  • Pinned to the floor and handcuffed.
  • Fighting for each limb as they’re forced down on a table, slowly secured by leather restraints.
  • Overwhelmed by multiple Whumpers, each one working to subdue them.
  • Yanked back by their hair so a collar or rope can easily be fitted around their throat.
  • Pinned while in combat (double points for being caged against a wall or trapped in a chokehold)
  • Improvised restraints like belts, sheets, or clothing when Whumpee won’t be still enough to retrieve proper ones.
  • Manhandled in a hospital bed, held down for the duration of a procedure.
  • Injected with a chemical restraint, a sedative or numbing agent that quickly bleeds the fight out of them.
  • Struggling as a muzzle is wrestled over their head and secured.
  • A blow to the head that knocks Whumpee out or makes them too dizzy to fight anyone off.

Summary: After a failed escape attempt, a patient is punished treated with solitary confinement and a new method.

“You can’t keep me here! Let me go!”

Dragged through the vacant hallways, the young man’s cries bounced off the walls unheeded. The grips on his arms were iron-clad as he struggled every step of the way. Digging his heels proved futile; his paper shoes slipping on the vinyl floor.

“As a matter of fact, we can, Mr. Doe,” Dr. Malcom threw over his shoulder. His professional tone only added to the fire that was Luca’s rage. “Your family admitted you into our care. That makes us responsible for your health and wellbeing, even if you disagree with our methods.”

Whumpee squeezed their eyes shut even tighter and tried to empty their mind. Anything they thought of right now, Whumper could sense. And see. And use against them.

“Get the fuck out of my head,” they ground out. The invasive presence only got stronger.
