As the sunsets on the season and we transition to September and the later part of the year, let’s say our goodbyes with a convention to celebrate each other! With lots of conventions shut down this year we may not be able to go to cons in person but we can do them here!

Our 2020 Self Ship con starts the August 30th and ends September 6th!

All you have to do is take part in any way you see fit! Below are the ways you can participate!

A dealers room: Create ideas for what kinds of merch would be for you and your F/O!!!!) If you actually sell any kind of merch, link us!

Panels: Give us a PowerPoint or presentation demonstrating the history of their ship or anything they want others to know about it. Anything to do with your F/O is fine also. Write an essay or anything relating to self shipping !

Q&A: Make a list of questions or prompts to interview con-goers or characters with!! Get to know ships

Maid cafe/refreshments: Make yourself some moodboards related to what you and your F/O might serve ! Create a menu (or prompts) for people to write about!

Artist alley: Promoting yourself as an artist! If you do commissions those will be held up high for people to see. If you so desire, taking requests from people is also welcome (though don’t wear yourself out please)!

COSPLAY!! Draw pictures of yourselves cosplaying, dress up as one of your insert or even your F/O, talk about who you’d cosplay. Just general fun thoughts!

In the final stretch i’ll be encouraging a take over so people and their F/Os can talk!

Feel free to bring F/Os of all kinds, not just romantic!!

(12:21 PM) taichi sighs as his brain fails to process the equations in front of him. he REALLY wants to focus and finish his assignment, but you’re sitting right across from him and he’s so distracted. were you annoyed at being held back to help him? he knows he’s not the best student out there, but he knows he can hold his own.

“can you explain number 3 again?” he asks with a sheepish grin, trying to ignore how pretty you look right now.

“again? okay so first— “ you begin explaining from the top, and oh god he really can’t stop looking at you. would you like him back? there’s nothing special about him, especially compared to people like banri or tenma— 

“taichi?” your words interrupt his thoughts, “are you okay? you’ve been zoning out a lot. are you sick?” you ask worriedly, and proceed to move your hand to his head to check his temperature.

his face immediately turns red at the physical contact, and he stutters out “y- yeah! why wouldn’t i be okay? i’m just a little tired from practice this morning!” he finishes off with a smile, and he hopes you don’t notice how strained it is.

you let out a small hum of acknowledgment before rambling on again about things he still doesn’t understand. “don’t push yourself okay? i wouldn’t want my favorite classmate to get hurt.” you say offhandedly.

he chokes. what did you mean by that? he opens his mouth to speak but it seems as if you’ve already moved onto the next topic. he wasn’t just imagining things, was he?

you bite back a small grin as you watch his internal panic.
