Wow.

You should really listen to the WHOLE thing because this woman does not mince words

I'd like to emphasize the cruelty. Being a worker right now is absolutely shit. Food costs, low wages, shitty work environments, childcare costs. A medical abortion can costs anywhere to $550-$700 in states that border ban states. You have to travel. You need a hotel after driving 8 hrs to a clinic. You need a baby sitter. You need a job that LETS you take time off. You need food! If you're barely making ends meet, this is nearly impossible. If you got the time and money, donate or share an abortion fund in a banned state. These funds and orgs not only pay part of the abortion, many of them are scaling up to support people with travel costs. You can find them or your local fund here: abortionfunds.org

And Democrats stood back and just let this happen because they don't care either. They weighed the option of fixing it immediately versus using it as a campaign slogan, and decided that the lives of women were more valuable when used for a power grab. It's sickening.

Skunk Anansie - Weak 1996

Paranoid & Sunburnt is the debut studio album by British rockband Skunk Anansie, first released in 1995, and then re-released in 2005 with a DVD featuring the videos to the singles. The album, featuring a mix of controversial protest songs (mainly about politics and religion), peaked at number 8 in the UK Albums Chart.

"Weak" was released as the fourth and final single from Paranoid & Sunburnt. It is one of Skunk Anansie's well known releases, and often a favourite at festivals. Skin performs a slower, more ballad-like version at many of her solo gigs. The song has also been covered by Rod Stewart on his 1998 album When We Were the New Boys.

"Weak" received a total of 61% yes votes!

β€œWhat would happen if instead of running away from [your] perceived weaknesses, you took ownership of them? What if you allowed yourself to inhabit them completely, to crawl inside these traits and fill them up with your being? I am not suggesting that it’s all right to keep being mean…I am saying that if you keep beating yourself up for being mean, your meanness is just going to keep striking back, getting stronger and more vicious with every blow. If, on the other hand, you were to fill up your meanness with attention and presence, it might just begin to cool down. Like everything else in the world, it will finally have its moment and after that, it will fall away and you won’t have to act on it anymore”

the traits you perceive (or have been told to perceive) have helped you at some moment in your life. allow yourself to listen to those traits, and even to be grateful for how they’ve helped you…embrace them and give them love. all they are looking for is to be recognized

Imagine calling Palestinians documenting their own genocide on their iPhones powered by a MacGyvered car battery "misinformation" because it hasn't been backed up and approved of by 40 peer-reviewed data analysts from the West that you personally approve of. I can't imagine being that ghoulish and heartless
