Oke, this is fucking disgusting! This fandom can be really toxic (not everyone of course)! Fatshaming an actress for being too fat to play Feyre? Wtf?! First of all Danielle is not fat! And she is an amazing actress! She just followed SJM and liked her post about ACOTAR becomming a TV show and some people really think they should bully and verbally attack her so much, that Danielle has to delete her Twitter account?! We live in a world where we have to deal with Racism, Sexism, bodyshaming etc. be upset about that and mind your own damn business when it comes to someone elses Body! I love Acotar and I‘m happy/ interested in a TV show, but people can be fucking assholes and attack INNOCENT people and destroy the project because of their toxic behaviour.
I just love the thought of characters forgetting or never knowing and then finding out how scary Nesta is. Like this is the girl who raised a middle finger at the King of Hybern, ripped out a piece of the cauldron with her teeth, who was consistently the person people were like damn, I’m afraid, and who just wipes away armies all the time by exploding or whatever she does, who’s singlehandedly bringing back a warrior clan. And I think it would be the peak of comedy, for characters to just get used to the fact that Nesta is chill, she’s wants to read romances, she fights but at the core she’s fairly pleasant, wants to just hang out with friends and do soft girl shit, and is such a romantic around Cassian. She’s a regular normal person and then BAM she obliterates a whole army, or screams bloody murder, or makes such harsh threats than someone pisses their pants. It would be HILARIOUS.
Like I keep thinking of Balthazar, him going like Feyre, CURSEBREAKER, hell no, and then him and Nesta getting along really well and becoming fast friends and him kind of joining this friend group that she has with Emerie and Gwyn, and him being like “ahh the nicest Archeron sister I know,” which she laughs at loudly because uhhh… And then one day, she just straight murders someone and has no regrets about it and he’s like… I think I got this wrong.

Am I the only one who constantly thinks about how it is only mentioned ONCE that Cassian deserves better (not about Nesta but about his job?) Like ONCE at the beginning. "Yeah you deserve more but for now you're a courtier and than we're not gonna talk about this for the rest of the book" Like what? I want him to become a King and Nesta his Queen! And cassian gonna rule over illyria and Nesta Valkyrie (with Gwyn and Emerie) and females are finally gonna be warriors and RESPECTED
I have totally thought about this. Cassian has so much potential and we really get to see his soft side in ACOSF but yes, I wish that we got to see more of the other stuff. Like I think we saw more of Nesta because this was Nesta’s book and healing arc which I loved, and I loved the Nessian, but it was so glossed over all his history and trauma. Like we got perhaps these three paragraph chunks of monologue of him remembering the stuff he’s been through.
That being said, I don’t think Nesta or Cassian’s story is even close to being finished. She got the ball rolling with them, especially Nesta, and all the unknowns. Now I keep thinking about the High King plot mentioning. And Rhys is literally like I don’t want it (Nesta also admits she doesn’t care about her powers or ruling the world so I thought that was an interesting parallel).
I think there is going to be a war because it’s always a threat in the back of the mind for all the characters, especially now that Koschei has revealed himself to be a big enemy. I believe a possibility is once war ends, Illyria will be ravaged, and it’s not going to be enough for Rhys to handle both his court and Illyria. Nesta and Cassian may have to become it’s rulers (white savior trope aside with Nesta) OR something happens and they become High King and Queen since Rhys is adamantly against it.
I just feel like constantly hearing about how Nesta is a Queen of Queens or queen triumphant and Cassian was a brooding warrior prince and Prince of Bastards falls short in ACOSF if neither of them ascend to some kind of royal title. So I think they will in later books and ACOSF is just the beginning. It would also really help to have two warriors like them in power because like you said, the Valkyries would be respected. Also they’d have an unstoppable war force with both the Illyrians and Valkyries under their command.
Thanks so much for the input @nestaa-stan, I totally want Nesta and Cassian to become rulers, not just for the foreshadowing and bc they’re my fav ship and couples, but because I think they’d do so well as leaders.
I totally agree with the white savior trope, which is why I think valkyries are a good compromise, since she, Emiere and Gwyn are “remade” them (don’t know how to say it) and the female illyrian can decide to become valkyries and they will earn the respect because the females worked hard and fought for themself. Nesta and the others just gave them the opportunitie to do so...
And yes, Nessian story is faaaar from finished, Nestas Power (I still think she is very powerful, would be great, is she is still more powerful than Rhysand) , her connection to the Mother, Cassian as a warrior/ commander, his fututre role in Illyria, (Ilyria’s story is also far from finished, especially since two females won the rite...
And PLS SjM, don’t make Rhysand a High King! He should focus on Hewn City and their fault before deciding to rule over everything. (Btw. I hated it when Amren where like “Oh Nesta made those swords BUT it came to Rhysand so he should become High King”, like WTF? But yeah no HIGH KING ...

So I’ve really had a lot of time to think about this and these are my new thoughts. Mor is actually acting totally natural to Nesta and yes Nesta is just as horrible to her. Actually no Nesta’s worse than Mor.
In fact, I remember now that I think about it when Nesta recalled how she was almost raped by Thomas and how he hurt her, and then when Mor wasn’t even interacting with Nesta and minding her own business, Nesta went up to her, irritated her, and when Mor didn’t give a sweet, fake response back, she went on attack mode and told her that Mor deserved to be in the same place as people like Thomas and that Mor didn’t deserve good people like Feyre to have so much faith in her.

cassian should count himself lucky nesta only turned down his present because if a guy literally ignored me at a party in favor of exchanging matching lingerie with his ex who is bitchy to me, this is how i'd react
