          what’s the point in paying for a second coffee when it’s his fault that the FIRST never made it to her in the first place? he blinks dumbly at the dollar bills handed to him, and out of genuineness, he refuses, shaking his head and shoving the bills back at the woman.         ❛       no. I didn’t do anything to DESERVE this,       ❜     he says softly, bluntly--the way children do when they tell someone they don’t like their new haircut.

          the innocent can see through WHITE LIES on a subconscious level. children learn--and Laur is not a CHILD. he sees the dullness in her eyes on the subject of an unknown land. he puts his elbow on the table, chin resting in his palm as he scrutinizes her.        ❛      superiority... at what cost? lies? deception? how far to go for such superiority? and at what point does your superiority no longer become your own? you become superior to yourself, a self you’ve created in lies. a bit pathetic, isn’t it?      ❜       HARSH. he takes a moment to take a sip of water.    ❛     I’ve heard it makes dreams come true. maybe not all dreams, maybe not my dreams. but dreams.      ❜

   though his words, probably, held no     harm, it feels as if she is being tested    on her knowledge. it worries her. she    doesn’t want to be caught a lie. syndra    crinkles her nose, ❝ i cannot pick a    favorite, that is wrong. i would ask of    yours, but that will wait until after we go. ❞

        there is NO HARM in his words except for the disillusion she’ll cause if she answers wrongly. Laur just gives her a small smile, seeing through her lies. innocence is SHATTERED here because of her white lies.       ❛       does it make you feel GUILTY when you lie? do you lie to me because I’m childlike? or is it to save yourself from ignorance?       ❜

honestly, this blog was never meant to get far. it started out with just michael to help out with a friends plot, && it ended up being this shitty ass thing it is today. with it came the fact i lost muse for my previous main, charlie, but i gained a large understanding for a different kind of roleplay style, && a lot of cuties on the way !!

@probablyworried is obvi number one. this babe is a babe. i love ren so much, honestly. she is a talented writer beyond anything i could ever hope to have in a partner. and her characters are extremely well thought out, developed, && portrayed. i could not ask for a better main to have, honestly. but beyond her extreme talent as a writer and character maker, ren is a great fucking person who makes me laugh, listens to me yell, and who i fucking love talking to. ren is absolutely one of the best rpers i have ever met and i am so goddamn lucky to call them my pal.

      he can sense the deceit in the way that children can tell an adult is lying to them--lips too tight, eyes too uncertain, but Laur just gives her a smile just as FORCED, folding his hands one over the other.         ❛       haven’t found the time.....or the friends.
