Hey, you don't have to answer this publicly if you don't want to-- but I had a question about the second chapter of your fic 'what's left here must be right', was the two days mentioned supposed to be a longer interval of time? (Like weeks/months) Dinners, taxi cabs, falling asleep together, and sucking him off (mentioned later) seems like a lot of activity to manage in only two days, same with the implication that their feelings would wear off (seems too short that that wouldn't be a worry)

Ahh okay okay so the 'two days' only refers to how long they've been at the hotel / Asuma has been on his business trip. Elsewhere it says 'Through months of sneaking around together'. So the dinners and the taxis and falling asleep together is during those two days, the sucking off and anything else mentioned has been over a period of several months.
I haven't been writing enough this year and I want to try writing smaller things to see if it helps >.< So I'm throwing the door open for requests!
Caveats: absolutely zero guarantee I will actually write any requests that get sent to me.
Ideally I want to write for rarepairs so although KakaYama is my otp I will not be accepting KakaYama requests at this time :((

How will I go about this:

The art I offer for this raffle will be based on fanfics. Meaning that the winner gets to pick a story of their own to which I will draw fanart of. If said winner does not write, they are free to pick their favorite story that is written by a different person. Even if you do write, you can still pick a different person’s story
I know some fanfic writers out there really appreciate art being based on their stories, so I’ve decided to do this little thing!
For those of you who neither write nor read, that’s too bad. But I might sometimes in the future make a raffle that is not like the ones I’ve usually held. So keep your head up~ (yo, seriously, please read the whole post if you really want to enter this raffle. 🎆 Spotlight Saturday! 🎆
Here are we again, another Saturday Sunday, another Spotlight! This time, it’s @sketchy-and-unformed!
Before I begin with this week’s spotlight, some things to note:
That all said, here we go with this week’s Spotlighted Author (and artist):
Where do I start here? How about explaining that like, quite a few of my other Naruto Spotlights, I’ve met @sketchy-and-unformed through @tenzoscabin! The folks over there are so supportive and kind, and I have truly enjoyed getting to know them, including @sketchy-and-unformed.
Now, over on the server we refer to @sketchy-and-unformed as sketchy-sensei, and that’s what I’ll refer to them as during this spotlight. And here’s another note: as most of you know I am multi-shipping trash over here in the Naruto fandom, and I’ve often told people who ask that as long as I find a good enough story that makes me think: “Hmm, I kind of like this pair, can I read more?” I’ll likely end up becoming a fan of this ship. And well, you can thank sketchy-sensei for my love of KakaYama as a ship now.
But, that’s enough about me, let’s actually get going with the spotlight.
First, let’s start with one of my favorite stories by Sketchy-sensei. it happened in the woods is just an absolute lovely fic to read! To explain why I like this fic so much, here’s an excerpt from the comment I left on this fic the first time I read it: Your fic was amazing. I don’t really know how to adequately express how wonderful it was except by saying that it felt like being shrouded in a warm toasty blanket in the winter in front of a fire with a cup of hot chocolate next to you. It felt like a hug, it felt like I wanted to cry and smile and squee in happiness all at once.
Yeah, I think that about sums it up.
But, that’s not all. Of the 59 stories @sketchy-and-unformed has written for the Naruto fandom, I’m only going to be highlighting 10. And that means, you have at least 9 more amazing stories to look forward to here and at least 58 more to look up on your own if you’d like to just stop reading and go check out sketchy-sensei’s A03 page!
So, like I said, @sketchy-and-unformed got me shipping the KakaYama train hard when I first stumbled across their works. And that means, I have more goodies to share.
Abuse of Power is a hilarious PWP that features Yamato being quite assertive with Kakashi. It’ll make you see this ship in a new light (and in a good way I promise) and you may have to cool down after reading it. The Optimist is a NSFW piece that just hits at all the right emotions. It’s fluffy with just the perfect dose of angst and pining and romance, and it just hits so good! And if you just want a good dose of angst and just that, then look no further than the (worst) mistake. I won’t spoil it for you, but I suggest you take a look if you’re curious! I promise you will enjoy it and you won’t regret reading it at all!
And now for some more fics by @sketchy-and-unformed that I think y’all should definitely take a look too! Before I start these, I have to let you know a few things. I’m sure quite a few of you remember @asumaweek2021! Guess who the mod and host of this event was? That’s right, no one else but @sketchy-and-unformed!!!!
Sketchy-sensei has a love for Asuma as a character and one of their other favorite Yamato pairings happens to be AsuYama!
Curious about this ship (like I was?) Then take a look at the 11 AsuYama fics that sketchy-sensei has written!
making something happen is a hilarious romcom style story featuring AsuYama that basically reads like a comedy of errors and will have you laughing and smiling as you read it. OR, if you’re a sucker for some good coffeeshop AU fics like I am, then you may want to check out Dark Roast. I didn’t start actively shipping AsuYama until I read this fic y’all. I think that should tell you it’s a very worthwhile read. And then of course, why not take a look at something just like this, which is a nice feel-goody fic filled with characters who can’t seem to realize they are on dates and fluff and lots of other things!
Now for those of you keeping track, you’ll note that I have managed to list out 7 out of the 10 or so fics I said would be higlighted in this post. SO, what are the remaining ones? Well, they happen to be ones that sketchy-sensei recommends so you can bet, they’ll be good to read too!

Hey! Sooo my question is: does the DILF or MILF have to actually be a parent in the fic I write? Like if I want to write about Asuma but in the fic he doesn't have a kid, y/n? Or can we use the daddy/mommy definitions, too? Like Tsunade has total MILF / mommy energy but no kids, is she okay to write about? I wasn't really clear on this from your rules/FAQ. Yo! In short, yes. :) As long as (for example) Asuma is taking on that ‘daddy’ role. Same with Tsunade, for the exact reasons you mentioned. Good question! :D
I just realized part of my answer didn't make it into my response--i am sorry! No, they don't need to be an actual parent. The 'daddy' or 'mommy' role doesn't require them being actual parents. Sorry for the confusion!!

We've tried to keep each day varied, choose prompts that have room for varied interpretations (in most cases at least), and choose prompts that work equally for writers and artists. Hopefully there's something for everyone 💜
