I could do it, he thought to himself as he stood in his office looking out the window. Right here, right now. She'd find me in the abandoned building, then we could be together, reunited, just like before. He imagined to himself as he turned around to look at the gun lying on his wooden desk, he was so tempted. It had been exactly thirty days since he last saw you, thirty days since he broke your heart along with his own. He was alive yes, but he felt dead, incomplete, empty, more than he ever had. Grazing his hand over the barrel of the gun he breathed in sharply, closing his eyes only to see your face staring back at him, haunting him.

It was morning, Tommy had stayed up with you all night watching you slowly drift in and out of sleep. You didn't have a fever, you wasn't shivering, he prayed it was only exhaustion.
" Tommy it's fine, I'm feeling better" you said opening your eyes to see him sitting on the edge of the bed next to you.
" You're not fine Y/N" he said looking at your pale ghostly face, the colour of your eyes muted, lifeless.
" Look I am, ok" you said getting up from the bed, summoning up the energy to prove him wrong " I'll be fine Tommy, go, it's not like I'm going anywhere" you laughed weakly.
"I'm staying" he said sighing as he stood up to rub your back.

No, you guys don’t understand, winter is going to be BRUTAL. It’s going to be HORRIFIC. If Joel acted like that just from infected Sam attacking Ellie… if Ellie acted like that, screaming Joel’s name, crying for help, just from infected Sam… I cannot even fucking fathom what David is going to be like. How heartbreaking it’s going to be to watch Ellie go through that. How fucking rage-filled Joel is going to be.
