HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN (April 19, 1981)
It’s been a remarkable experience. And just a very heartwarming one. The journey that I’ve been on with Star Wars over the last 20 plus years… it’s been a wild ride, and where we’re at now is really meaningful to me. I think that those movies have held up well over time. It feels like vindication for the work that we did. Everyone that worked on those movies thought that we were part of something special. We all wanted to do our very best work, and we cared a lot about it. And so to see the response from the fans now, it’s very cool. [x]

OBI-WAN KENOBI | S01E15 TRESPASS
the problem is not “how dare watcher want to make more money” because yes obviously it takes a lot of money to make quality content and creatives deserve to get paid
the problem is the way they are going about it now. removing previously free content that your fans have been loyally supporting for years and moving all new and old videos to your own exclusive website that you have to pay a separate subscription for now, it’s not going to work
watcher leaving YouTube and shoving everything behind a paywall is genuinely the most b*zzfeed capitalist decision I’ve seen in a long time. like…what the actual fuck
