DO 👏 NOT 👏 SIT 👏 THE 👏 2020 👏 ELECTION 👏 OUT 👏 JUST 👏 CAUSE 👏 YOU 👏 DON’T 👏 LIKE 👏 BIDEN 👏

👏🏼BIDEN 👏🏼 CAN’T👏🏼 BEAT👏🏼TRUMP👏🏼

That’s why people don’t like him and don’t want him on the ticket. Trump will use the Ukraine conspiracy theories and who knows what else and Biden will just stutter his way through debates.

Supporting Biden right now isn’t what is needed. Severe criticism and protest of the DNC and the media for burying Bernie is what is needed.

Hi, please read my post more carefully: I’m not supporting Biden right now. I’m not even a Biden supporter! I don’t like him! I am a Bernie supporter. But I watched this exact same shit happen on 2016 - everyone hoping for Bernie, everyone rightly criticizing the DNC, and everyone decrying Hillary. And it lost us the election. It gave us a dangerous and horrible Trump administration.

All I am saying, as is the screencapped comment, is that IF Biden gets the election, you cannot sit it out just cause you don’t like him or think he can’t win. IF Biden gets the nomination, you sitting out is only going to ensure 4 more years of Trump.

We all want Bernie. You’re preaching to the choir, there. This post is in response to people saying they won’t vote for Biden if he gets the nomination. But all that is is surrender. Biden isn’t ideal, and the DNC is a major problem, but refusing to play the game doesn’t make the game not exist.

Do not sit the election just cause your candidate isn’t the primary. That’s the only thing that will ensure another awful 4 years of Trump.

We can’t keep saying ‘vote for biden in November because Trump sucks’ but luckily there’s a lot of good reasons to vote FOR him.

Everyone needs to read this post by @qqueenofhades

They go through Biden’s actual plans and guess what? He’s lightyears better than trump. His plans are decidedly left and certaintly left of Obama in 2008.

People forget that a) Hillary had the most progressive platform in history because of bernie sanders and b) Hillary had 3 million more votes than Trump and c) hillary lost by about 10,000 votes in three states because of the freaking electoral college

There were more jill stein voters than space between trump and hillary in those three states. Think about that. Without the strange and deadly combination of russia, republican voter suppression and 3rd party voters we wouldn’t be in the middle of a dictatorship that’s hell bent on destroying everything good in the world. Remove any one of those factors and things would be so much better. Hillary Clinton is a decent person with a wealth of experience who believes in improving healthcare and the environment.

As for Biden losing, I’m not at all believing that’s 100% sure.

Biden is crushing it with African Americans and suburban women, both demos we absolutely need to win in November, and he’s even pulling a lot of support among the working middle class that Bernie depended on in 2016 and that’s in places like Michigan. And guess which is one of the states that was close enough for Republicans to cheat to win in 2016?

Trump is underwater in all the states he needs. Biden will pretty much already have Hillary’s states on lock. If we flip MI, WI and PA that’s a win, and that’s actually really really doable, especially with Biden. Ohio is also in reach.

Additionally, AZ, NC and TX have all gotten much bluer since then. While they’re still a stretch, they’re a reasonable stretch.

There’s one more reason to support Biden if he wins the nomination rather than just hold your nose and vote for him.

The Senate. We need a blue Senate to stop the bleeding and like it or note Biden’s very likely to have coattails in all the specific places were we have a chance of unseating senate republicans.

Let me add my own list to this too

Some reasons to vote FOR Biden

  • Biden, as it stands now, is to the left of Obama in 2008
  • Biden, with a Dem senate and Dem house, will repair the damage Trump has done to this country.
  • Biden will nominate liberal judges to unstack the courts.
  • Biden will replace RBG with a liberal judge.
  • Biden will fight like hell for gun control.
  • Biden won’t fill the government with unqualified sycophants with a disregard for the rule of law.
  • Biden will stop the backslide on Climate Change and start moving us forward again.
  • Biden won’t put children in cages.
  • Biden is a strong proponent of immigration reform.
  • Biden won’t push to rollback LGBTQ gains and in fact supports us. He was the one to push Obama left on same sex marriage.
  • Biden would take a pandemic seriously and respond much better than Trump. He’s already forming the necessary groundwork.
  • Biden may not be for M4A but he will protect Obamacare and wants a public option.

LBR whether or not it is Bernie or Biden, the next president will spend the next 4 years unfucking the country from what Trump and the Republicans did, and probably expend all their political capital to do so. Better Biden for that IMO, to ensure a progressive agenda can return again, rather than Bernie, uh, burning out before anything good can get done.

And oh yeah,

  • Biden won’t put children in cages

Biden won’t put children in cages

I’ve had a jaw ache since 2016 from grinding my teeth in frustration over variations of this stupid debate. How many people on the left seem so obsessed with the right candidate. We could have won in 2016 with the right candidate. We can’t win in 2020 without the right candidate.

Bitch, there is no right candidate.

In the second half of November 2016 I sat down and wrote up a list of twelve factors, that I could gather from all the news and polisci analysis floating around that contributed to how that election went down – some bigger, some smaller, the top three that I recall were Russian disinformation, voter suppression, and a high-level government official (we do remember james comey right? we remember how he was rewarded as a traitor deserves?) mixed in to the election – in violation of a law specifically designed to forbid that – to favor one side with information that turned out to be false YES I AM STILL BITTER ABOUT THIS – anyway. Clinton’s personal unlikeability (more on the concept of ‘personal unlikeability’ as it pertains to politicians later) and mistaken campaign choices (she could have directed her campaign to do more work in swing states, it’s true; she made that decision based on the polls, and it turned out the polls were wrong) were a factor too. But not the only factor, or even the biggest factor.

Some factors, like the blatant nascent prejudice in our nation that made the white-supremacist candidate look favorable to white voters, we can’t really do much about. (Genuine question – why do people seem to think that Trump’s latent-white supremacist voters would have been more likely to vote for a Jewish socialist than a white woman?) Others, like defending out voting system from interference and mitigating voter suppression, we could do something about, but aren’t, because the people in charge have a vested interest in the vote not being fair. It’s four years later; what have we done to protect our voting system against external interference? What have we done to expand voting access? Oh? Nothing???

I have never been given ANY reason to think that Sanders would have done any better in 2016 than Clinton. None. No reason to think that the GOP propaganda machine would not have switched on as soon as he was confirmed. No reason to think that they would not have made up lies and made them stick in the public imagination as baselessly as they did for Clinton. No reason to think that the foreign forces that interfered would have decided to sit it out if Sanders was the candidate. No reason to think that local GOP politicians would not have purged voter rolls shut down polling stations restricted early and mail voting just as zealously as they did. No reason to think that the traitors in the government would not just as eagerly have betrayed their trust if Sanders was in the hot seat.

And I have no reason to think that Sanders would do any better than Biden would in 2020, either, because he’s in the same position he was then: He lost because not enough people wanted to vote for him. Outside of the left-wing socmed sphere, it sure looks like plenty of people are gladly casting their votes for Biden. He’s apparently cleaning up the black vote. People seem to like him, too. More people, in demonstrated fact, than liked Sanders.

(By the way, there’s not really any such thing as a likeable or unlikeable candidate either, since any personal charm they may have is absolutely negligible in the face of the overwhelming PR storm – positive from our side, negative from theirs – that fight for the electorate’s attention. People who actually personally knew Clinton, worked with her directly, generally reported that they liked her quite a lot, that she was pleasant to talk to and keen to listen and eager to help. Yet somehow, she ended up being portrayed in the public eye as a cold nasty bitch. Weird huh? Personality is nothing. PR is everything. That was true for Clinton and it’s true for Sanders and it’s true for Biden too.)

There is no such thing as a right candidate. There is no candidate so perfect, so magnetic and compelling, that their moral superiority can overcome these other 11 fuckin factors. There is absolutely, absolutely no reason to think that Sanders would have been able to magically overcome them in 2016, nor magically overcome them in 2020. The only way that the current candidate – or ANY candidate – can succeed is if they get support and infrastructure and people put in the damn effort.

There is SO MUCH WORK that needs to be done to win an election, pulling the lever for the candidate is the tiniest part of it, the absolute floor-level minimum participation necessary. And seeing how many people are not even willing to take the effort to rise up to that ABSOLUTE MINIMUM FLOOR is just so mind-blowingly enraging.

I’ve watched every episode of Steven Universe in 3 days and the wildest day thing was seeing Steven backhand Garnet. That shook me like nothing else fam.

The ending for SU was sweet and silly and sentimental and this is the first time I’m really happy that they hugged it out rather than fought. It worked in its own weird little way and was really satisfying. Connie and Lion were undoubtedly the MVPs of the series and it was relieving to see Steven get the chance to let it all out. The group hug was adorable and Garnet being the first one to grab on to him was touching.

All in all, I’m glad I watched. And I’m glad Steven’s really getting the chance to be happy.

The Grace Collection.PNG

aka, Grace, the Chrome Wyrm, Divine Touched Grace Masked and unmasked

I made a fail gift to the cringe Gods. I made a human OC for Hollow Knight. There are two versions of her, one in a universe where the bugs are bug sized and one where the bugs are people-sized.

This design takes place in the latter.

@alongcameahuntsmanspider is doing an RP with me where Hollow Knight takes place in the far future where the Earth enters a new Permian like age. Massive trees, lots of oxygen lots of food make big smart bugs. Hallow Nest is a thriving kingdom where humans are used as a slave labour force. Being seen as weaker and obsolete in their world. A relic of a dead age. Now they’re dealing with the threat of the infection and the kingdom the Hollow Knight is training to fulfil his destiny to save the kingdom as a slave woman of all creatures manages to manipulate void and use it to save several infected bugs.

There is obviously more but that’s the gist of the AU ^.^

A man who puts the needs of the country and its people before his own.

Fuck all the people in the replies calling him a socialism/communist/tyrant/cuck. You wouldn't know a tyrannical fascist president if he were in office for the past 4 years. (Kuz trump literally meets all of those requirements and he only cares about the rich getting richer, political power, and milking the cream out of Putin's cock.)

At least I’ve slept with a woman and have friends. What about you? Attacking Autistic people on the internet? Does this make you feel cool and like society will value you? I hope one day you grow past your edgy faze soon and get a hobby, maybe adopt an animal? Something to occupy your time rather than call people cucks on the internet like that means anything lmao

@exveeneck

Damn bitch did you say a word?
