to this day, pharmacology is one of the hardest subjects that i’ve had to learn. nothing will top critical care though, she was a BEAST

study tip: a little pharm review a day helps me to memorize the many, many drugs & side effects!

new listing on my etsy shop!

my most asked questions are:

  1. what pen size do you use?
  2. what note-taking template do you use? to answer this, my most current and favorite note-taking templates are these neutral colored note-taking templates

when i first started using goodnotes, i was only using their templates (which i still love and use)!!! i’ve grown to love this neutral cream colored digital paper as well as the deep brown colored paper. i hope you guys love it as much as i do and p.s. they come with 8 matching notebook covers (y’all know i love the matching aesthetic)

Hi Anna! I came across your social media recently, and your notes are spectacular. I am working on improving my handwriting, and yours has set the bar for me. I wanted to ask what your fountain pen setting are, and the size that you usually use to write in GoodNotes. Thanks so much! Warmest wishes!

thank you so much for the compliment! i've recently switched to the ball point pen and i find that it works much better for me. either way, i used both pens in 0.45-0.5 mm pen size. hope this helps!

long time no post!

i’ve neglected my tumblr account for some time now but i’m back and better! this previous semester of nursing school did a number on me and i wasn’t feeling motivated to run this account. with some time off and plenty of time to get my future on track, i’m back with new products on my Etsy shop and i’m so excited to share them with you guys!

more products will be coming out really soon... (maybe even with some freebies on the way)

rumor has it there’s already some new digital products on my shop

can you explain how you study in an efficient

way?study habits or tricks for very tough courses?thanks and have a good day 🌼💜

hi there! hope you're having a good day :-)

to be honest, i am not the greatest student, but here are some tips that helped me through nursing school

  1. study with a friend! this helped me keep myself accountable and on track
  2. don't cram... a simple tip but hard to follow
  3. use the resources your professor gives you!!! tests and quizzes for me were always tested over material given to us

hope this helps!

Thank you so much.

Best wishes!

hi there!

i have since switched to the ball point pen in size 0.45-0.5 mm and i prefer it much better! even with the fountain pen i used the same size. my settings are at medium sensitivity as well but i'd recommend trying them all to see which one you write best with!

any tips for nursing school? im starting next year and im a little nervous lmao

congratulations on getting into nursing school! that itself is a huge feat and i'm so proud of you! though nursing can be very laborious, i hope you find nursing to be a very rewarding profession :-)

some of my best tips for nursing school:

- prep everything the night before clinical! this will save you so much time in the early morning. i have everything (ID, scrubs, lunch, penlight, stethoscope, clipboard, etc.) by the door so i don't forget anything at home.

- do. not. cram. i've done it a couple times through nursing school and i don't recommend it at all!! the material you learn in nursing school is important for your career as a nurse and when you cram information into your brain, it's more likely that you will forget it quickly. as my professor would say, the information given in nursing school is learned through repetition and should be stored in your long-term memory!

- when things get hard, remind yourself what you are doing this for! knowing that i could help/save someone's life one day gets me going through the late night study sessions, long clinicals, etc.

i wish the best of luck to you and hope you find the specialty/unit you love :-)
