Watching your beloved mutual go on an unhinged reblogging spree about a game you don't play while you go on an unhinged reblogging spree about a show they don't watch is actually a form of parallel play

I am not responsible for who I become when hyperfixating
I'd like to see YOUR dignity hold up when flooded by 2000% of your typical dopamine levels
My apologies if there were in fact any beautiful young women who made new, blank Tumblr accounts with a profile picture of themselves in a swimsuit solely to follow my fanfic blog.
My Friends: have you seen this TV show?
Me: no, but thanks to tumblr,

truly astonishing how much easier and more comfortable life gets when you accept that not everything is about you
sometimes things make me uncomfortable or don't make sense to me but not because they're immoral or intended to cause me harm, just because i'm not a consideration that was factored into the decisions that led to them. sometimes i make people feel confused and discomforted just by doing my thing. and sometimes that's okay. i can think critically and determine when something is exclusionary and harmful and when it's just a case of personal differences and preferences.
Fandom is not about cancellable opinions it’s about sharing and spreading art and fics and gif sets and poetry and showering each other in praise and tearing up because someone said something nice about a thing you made and writing posts that say reblog to give the person you reblogged this from a kiss on the forehead actually

I am a recreational Noticer. I love to Notice Things and Make Connections and Identify Patterns. This is one of my favorite activities and it requires me to behave in compulsively silly ways online.
For someone who is tired 100% of the time, I sure am bad at sleeping.
the "came back wrong" trope except like... they didnt. like this mad scientists wife died, and so he studied necromancy, brought her back, and she came back and it all worked. like she came back exactly the same as she was before with literally no difference. but the scientist guy is like "oh no... what have i done.... shes Different now!!!! she came back Wrong!!!!" and shes just like. chilling. reading a book. cooking dinner. shes just so so normal but in the guys mind hes like "oh shes soooo weird" but shes just normal

NO its a JOKE and YOU DONT GET IT. ITS NOT THAT DEEP
While she was dead he put his memory of her on such a high pedestal that she could never live up to it alive
alternatively‚ she came back perfectly fine but he thinks she came back wrong‚ because the tragic reality is that he never actually knew his wife
im going INSANE thats MY POST.
It's your post but the journey to posting it changed it to such a degree that even its closest intimacies are now foreign to you. Sorry dude.
it's not "am I good enough to do it?", it's "do I like it enough to be bad at it?"
