I'm not sure if I fully understand what you're saying, but skunk lives on the streets of their city! They're a runaway from their home.
Skunk's mom isn't a very good parent, and it was best for them to leave the house. Since then, they've been fending for themselves, hence the whole "I dont need anybody else to survive" attitude.
Whenever I draw Skunk and Jason together Skunk stays in Jason's house (Jason took them in and lets them live with him), But this technically isn't CANON, since Skunk doesn't exist in Jason's universe and vice versa. I just like drawing them together a lot<3

i feel like skunk is the type of person who double checks every time they write the words "tick" or "ticks" bc theyre afraid autocorrect will change it to "tickles"
and also they would be far too ashamed to ask upfront for tks, so they would just. take things from their friends and hide them. to annoy their friends and get wrecked
