I see far too many RP blogs who have rules which they use to abuse their power and control other peoples muses.

This is not ok. Having rules is fine, but saying “no godmoding” is entirely different from saying “you’re not allowed to do X Y and Z but I can”, I would say dont be one of the latter assholes, but the TF RP community is full of too many people who think that shit is ok.
