I want to see Radovid not holding back on his affection towards Jaskier.

I want to see him complimenting the bard on things like his smile, his hair, they way his eyes crinkle when he laughs.

I want to see Radovid hugging Jaskier from behind, kissing his hand, brushing his hair away from his face (and looking adorably nervous while doing so).

And Jaskier is a little shocked by all of this, because sure, he had a lot of lovers, and they all complimented on his looks and wits. But this man adores Jaskier for who he really is and it's all so overwhelming

Me: oh no, Jaskier's about to sing. Hope it's better than songs before. Song: Keep your words on ice Your gaze lights the fire They say keep on playing nice but I have no desire Why waste our words when lips were made for extraordinary things It's not a want, it's a need It is paying no heed to what others say to sing The greatest songs are made up of unspoken words of love Of them I've had enough With you, I have enough With you, I am enough I am enough

Me:...

Me: Okay, there is no heterosexual explanation that THIS is a song Jaskier sings when prompted to sing his favourite piece about Geralt.

*Geralt’s idea of being a supportive friend*

Jaskier: Don't worry about meeting Geralt, love. He may look frightening, but he's harmless as a kitten.

***

Geralt: I like you because you make Jaskier very happy.

Radovid: Wow, thank yo-

Geralt: Break his heart and I swear I will murder you.

Radovid:

Geralt: ...So, do you play gwent?

The scene in episode four of Jaskier and Ciri where just the cutest. Like Jaskier attempting to sing Ciri a lullaby.

But now I most recommend that every serious should now instead of regular dialogue. There should just be Jaskier and Ciri doing their own commentary and making up sentences.

h/c: geralt and jaskier definitely hooked up a couple of times during all the years they've known each other.

after jaskier and radovid's relationship gets serious, jaskier is a little anxious about the possibility of his new lover and his best friend not getting along.

but not only do those two get along. they become friends

and jaskier's nightmare comes true when the three of them are sitting in a tavern and geralt and radovid decide to tease him by asking who's the better kisser?

Vespula: You like him.

Jaskier: Who, Geralt? *panics internally because it has been 20+ years and it’s the first time someone directly pointed out that he is hopelessly in love with the witcher* I guess. Platonically.

Radovid: So, you and Jaskier have been friends for years, huh? Sorry if this is a weird question, but maybe you could give me some advice? I'm new to this entire relationship thing

Geralt, who is still traumatized from Burn Butcher Burn: Just be nice to him

Upon learning of Radovid, Geralt was caught in a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. Familiar with Jaskier's penchant for fleeting passions that often fizzled out after physical intimacy, Geralt couldn't help but cautiously approach this situation. Yet, something undeniably distinct about Radovid set him apart from Jaskier's usual trysts. Geralt could perceive Jaskier's genuine love for the prince, which intrigued him, leaving him uncertain about what to make of it all.

Amidst the chaos of their escape and the constant threat looming over Cirilla, Geralt had grown accustomed to placing his trust in only a select few individuals. Whenever Radovid was in their midst, a nagging sense of apprehension crept into Geralt's mind, as if the prince harboured ulterior motives that could potentially lead to betrayal. However, it was Jaskier's vulnerability that concerned Geralt the most. He dreaded the possibility that Radovid might ultimately shatter Jaskier's heart, inflicting irreparable pain upon the bard he cared for deeply.

After Jaskier suffered a grievous injury in a sudden ambush, Geralt's heart pounded regretfully, knowing he had been too slow to protect the bard from the merciless stab. With great effort, Geralt brought Jaskier to the safety of a trusted healer, intending to remain steadfastly by his side throughout the recovery. Little did he expect the arrival of Radovid. At that moment, Geralt braced himself for a potential strike, anticipating that the prince would take advantage of Jaskier's weakened state to enact his malevolent agenda. Yet, to Geralt's surprise, Radovid exhibited genuine concern for Jaskier's well-being. In the prince's eyes, Geralt caught a glimpse of an affectionate fondness that puzzled him, challenging his preconceived notions about Radovid's intentions.

Several days passed, and Jaskier had regained enough strength to move about. From a concealed vantage point, Geralt observed the interaction between Jaskier and Radovid. As he watched, the prince effortlessly drew a genuine smile from Jaskier's lips—an authentic expression of joy, unlike the theatrical smiles the bard often wore during performances. It reminded Geralt of the intimate moments they shared by the campfire, where genuine laughter would fill the air. In that fleeting moment, Geralt's doubts began to dissipate. Seeing the prince bring such happiness to Jaskier reassured him that perhaps Radovid could be trusted, at least to some extent.

Lately, I've been contemplating the significance of Jaskier's line, "You learned my song," and why it holds such a memorable and special place.

Throughout the show, it's nearly impossible to dissociate Jaskier from music. Any mention of Jaskier inevitably brings music into the conversation. However, a realization struck me: while Jaskier is undoubtedly renowned as a bard, he is primarily known as Geralt's bard. "The White Wolf's bard" is a title bestowed upon Jaskier, but it doesn't fully define him. Often, when other characters discuss Jaskier's music, they mock him. But not Radovid; he takes the time to commend Jaskier for his musical talents. In essence, Jaskier's line can be interpreted as a metaphor for "you understood me." It signifies a rare instance where someone truly comprehended Jaskier's essence. I believe this was the moment Jaskier truly fell in love with Radovid, as he demonstrated that he saw Jaskier for who he truly is
