And the best part about this technology is that it’s open source, meaning you can build one yourself from the blueprints that are available for anyone to download.
This is so neat.
THE FUTURE IS NOW, PEOPLE
Does it…is it killing the weeds by STABBING THEM?
Farmbot: GET! BACK! DOWN! IN! DIRT! YOU! NOT! FOOD!
The weed-stabby is adorable!
best sleeping conditions: freezing fucking cold room but layers and layers of blankets
this speaks to me.
Scientifically, it’s because sleeping in a cooler environment (freezing cold room) and also sleeping under some physical pressure (blankets) - especially of you have anxiety and/or insomnia - is actually the most ideal sleeping condition.
My life
#wow it’s nice to be scientifically validated
AND sticking your nose out from under the blankets to feel that cold air while the rest of your body is warm and comfy !
Like literally cocooning yourself in blankets so that there is like a three-inch hole around your nose and mouth so you can breathe the good Cold Airs and everything else is covered.

I want a Goonies/Stranger Things-esque story that reflects modern online friendship.
Like, instead of kids living in the same town fighting a monster, it’s a group of online friends from different parts of the world fighting a world-ending threat, like aliens or wait fuck thats homestuck nevermind
Have you ever asked yourself: “What does the skunk say?” unmute to find out
what a good and respectful wildlife interaction, from both sides!
It’s been a long time, tumblr <3. I emerge from my dark hole to post a preview of a new Bloodborne comic. These are the first six pages of what will be a 15+ page short story about our dear Hunter.
Written together with a dear friend, we’re offering this full comic, the 5 page Gascoigne comic that I had posted before, and 10 pages of Bloodborne illustrations and sketches, including several I’ve never posted before online in this 30 page Bloodborne zine that is now available for preorder.
Over the next couple days I’ll be posting more artwork that will be featured in the book. I hope you enjoy!
I love how nobody realizes that linux runs the fucking internet.
Happy Labor Day. Today I learned about probably the first strike to happen IN SPACE.
“We would never work 16 hours a day for 84 straight days on the ground, and we should not be expected to do it here in space.“
I think you’re gonna be a bad teacher.
he could remember that long password but not what any given electronic is called
Remembering the password is *useful*, rememebring the name of Goobers isn’t inherently so.
fair
the bit of animation where peter throws the monitor behind them as they run is basically my favorite thing
he got that password by watching a mirrored reflection of her hands, through a grate in the ceiling.
but still has to peck at the letters with single fingers
okay listen, theres a reason intelligence and wisdom are two different stats
this horrifying monster is canonically just a weird dog and I love him

Advice for sad people: read this out loud, as enthusiastically as possible. It took me a whole bunch of tries before I could get through it without laughing.

this is the most sophisticated phishing e-mail I have ever received and if they had sized the logo correctly and actually proofread the fucking thing I probably would’ve clicked that button
actually please reblog this because someone else got it too. do not click on the links in this e-mail if you get one like it, just forward it to spoof@paypal.com and delete it
it’s actually incredibly easy to create phishing emails even better than this one, where the email formatting and wording is the exact same as a legitimate security alert for an online account. when you click on the link, it’ll look exactly the same as the real site, and will even redirect you to the real site once you give them your login details! it took me just a few hours to set up my own server that does exactly that; now that i understand the process, it would take me minutes to create a phishing campaign like this.
although it’s harder (but not by much, since the tools are open source) to do and much less common, phishers can even spoof two-factor authentication to trick you into allowing them to access your account. you should always have 2FA, but don’t fool yourself into believing it will keep you completely safe.
here are some good tips on spotting phishing emails: https://www.uvic.ca/systems/support/informationsecurity/phishing/spot-a-phish.php
you don’t have to be dumb to be fooled by a phishing scam. google made a phishing quiz to help people see how hard it is to spot phishing and show what to look for. it’s very cute also
stay safe, friends
