Destiehell and destiew are anti tags that we use to keep our rants out of the ship's tag. Desti(e)hellers are the small minority of shippers that do what @novakspector explained it perfect detail. Most destiel shippers are cool and then there are the destiehellers.

a "destiheller" is an extreme destiel shipper, the kind who claims it is already canon or insists it's going to be canon, harasses cast/crew/other fans over their ship and claims anyone who disagrees/doesn't ship it is a homophobe. "destiew" is an anti tag for people who don't like destiel, so the posts don't go in the ship's tag

id just like to put a little edit on @deanthecat s point: not all of us that use those terms are wincest shippers. some of us are non shippers or ship different things. this is where the problem stems from, because when we call overreactive destiel fans out they say 'OH STUPID WINCEST SHIPPERS' when some of us,,,,dont,,,,ship it,,,,
Oh thank you for the clarification. yes there are many ships not just wincest (not my thing but i’m not judging) and destiel (my otp) and i can see how the hardcore shippers can be a little over the top.

Destiheller (and other variations) are used a lot by Wincest shippers or people who don't like Destiel. I think the drama is kind of funny and I'm not too bothered, my blog title is Stuck in Desti-Hell lol. But yeah it's mostly reserved for destiel stans who take things too far and are obnoxious about it. Hope this helped

What is destiehell, destiheller (or destieheller i don’t remember which one is the real spelling) destiew? I see these words around and it confuses me. Are they other ways of saying destiel?
This isn’t hate, I’m just curious and I know that curiosity killed the cat but how do you learn if you don’t ask questions? Speaking of cats, have I mentioned that I have two cats? A boy cat named Dean and a girl cat named Cassie (it’s close enough to my OTP and she answers to Cas)
