Actually, while this is a complete oneshot on its own, i’m working on a second part to your gift that includes the rest of the Nightwings that I didn’t have time to write into this one. Sorry about that, I hope you don’t mind.
Listen though, when I started replaying for the True Nightwing mode and Mae (the Stowaway) told me how she loves Jodariel and Rukey and Hedwyn and asks if she should tell hedwyn it was so cute, I loved it. The moment I saw it I knew it would work great for your gift since you said you love that found family fluff and all the awesome girls in Pyre! I’m a bit miffed at how the game had the reader assume Mae’s feelings were romantic when it was really obvious they weren’t (she says so herself), but I’ll try to be chill about that. I guess.
Title is from the song From Finner by Of Monsters and Men, because it’s a very “Mae” song, I think. Unfortunately, I couldn’t crosspost to ffnet due to some kind of technical error, but ah well. that’s how the turn tables, I guess.

Another update!
Hello guys!
Sorry, I'll keep this brief - I got a bit sick right before Christmas (ironic, isn't it!) - so if my updates have been slow - this is the reason. Sorry if I made anyone wait!
What you've all done so far is absolutely amazing, I'm in love with all of the gifts. You guys are incredible, really! Special shoutout to awesome @teasatan, second mod who helped me a lot, especially in more stressful moments of the event! : D and to just as great @fabledtactician for helping me with pinch hitter gifts.
I also wanted to remind everyone who haven't posted their works yet - don't worry! You still have an entire day, and if you won't be able to make it, just message me at this blog, or @brewka, or algirdaitis@wp.pl - I'll just tell your "child" to wait a tiny bit more, and it's all chill. There's no need to worry! Things happen (like my sickness, haha!) and we all understand. There's no reason to stress over something like a fun fandom event!
Same goes to all "kids" who realize they didn't got their gifts yet. If you won't recieve yours before 27th and I won't recieve a message from your Santa, I'll contact them! So there's no need to worry, on any side.
In general, just remember you can always ask me about anything, I'm here to help! Enjoy the event, Happy Holidays! And amazing job, all of you. I just can't stop browsing the tag over and over!
