hey guys
long time no see. yes i am still alive. i’ve been over on my ireland OC’s blog (or, well, i was, until i uh forgot that i had a roleplay blog in general)
at long last i have finally remade alexei’s blog! i very much needed a fresh start + a clean slate for him; i’m hoping to move him more into a direction that i am happy with this go-round. consider this a sort of soft reboot.
i’ve still got some work to do, namely regarding tags, but he is more-or-less ready to go

whoops i said i would be remaking almost a month ago
that’s still the plan but i’m not going to put a date on it because i am incredibly busy with school, consider that new blog and my ireland @faughanbeallach on a semi-hiatus until i get to a point in my schoolwork where i have more time to do stuff on here
so what’s going on here exactly
after planning on coming back to this blog for the like, fifth time, it’s just...it’s just not working. i’ve had this blog since i was in high school and i can’t do it anymore. frankly looking through it kind of embarrasses me. so i think i’m going to keep this up as an archive but i will not be using it anymore.
BUT
i still really love this character. alexei was one of my first OCs and i would feel terrible just throwing him out with the bathwater especially while i’m still actively roleplaying on a different blog so i fully intend to remake.
why? well, aside from how old it is, this blog
- is incredibly disorganized with no real coherent tagging system to speak of
- has way too many followers, over half of which are old accounts of people who have since either left the community altogether or remade, which artificially inflates the follower count
- inconsistent in terms of formatting which is driving me insane every time i look at a reply
and maybe most importantly, i’ve changed a lot as a person, and alexei has changed a lot as a character. a lot of my old headcanons on this blog no longer reflect the direction i want to go in with alexei. i feel like a fresh coat of paint will help alleviate some of my insecurities about writing on here. i hope to have the new blog up and ready to go by this weekend at latest and i hope to see you all there!

hey would anyone be interested in my ireland OC if i made him a blog. ive been working on him for a month or so and every once in a while i just need a break from alexei by playing someone completely different
dunno if he’ll be a full blog or just a side blog but i have a URL saved so it’s. definitely in the works.

haven’t posted a doodle dump in a while so here’s some recent…ish stuff of some of my OCs who aren’t alexei, in order, we have:
- vaclav, my czech republic, @nadtatrousablyska‘s husband
- my moscow design. she’s alexei’s older sister and they hate each other, her name is svetlana, she’s hot
- my most recent bastard, my ireland OC, ciarán o’halloran. he’s really growing on me and i may have to make a blog for him sometime soon, we’ll see. his looks are mostly based on various men in my family but mostly my father who is so irish that he inexplicably grows ginger facial hair
- on that note, a few of ciarán’s aunties and uncles, the ancient kingdoms of ireland. first picture is auntie connacht tentatively named medb, bottom is ulster who doesn’t have one yet because he sucks and is terrible
- aífe aka auntie leinster, couldn’t get a picture of her without ulster also in it unfortunately. a little bit of my tentative design for munster also got in but he’s not done yet
